Deprecate the app chooser widgets
...
These are a family of pretty specialized widgets, and
are very rarely used. Instead of porting them away
from GtkTreeView and GtkComboBox, deprecate them.

tests: Remove gtk_dialog_run()
...
Either use the "response" signal for dialogs that are already modal, or
use an explicit nested loop for tests that rely on the response id being
available in sequence.

GtkAppChooserButton: Add a way to include the default app
...
This is necessary to use an app chooser button for selecting
default apps in the control center. Also, beef up the docs
for this widget family.

when in reality it might get NULL back.

The application can probably set a better string than the default
we construct, like 'Select an application for "software" files'.
