* gtk_tree_model_iter_next - 'inout' is poorly defined and causes bugs so
revert back to the default 'in' annotation
* gtk_tree_path_get_indices_with_depth - annotate the return as 'transfer none'
to avoid double frees
The old version wasn't introspectable as it didn't have a length
return parameter. Also, delete gtk_tree_path_get_indices_with_depth,
since it's no longer needed.
* gtk_tree_model_get_column_type: transfer none added to the return value
* gtk_tree_model_get_path: value parameter switched from inout to out
so that it is annotated with caller-allocates
* get_indices does not return a length so we can not annotate it to return an
array in bindings that use GObject Introspection
* this method is the same as get_indices except it takes an int * as the depth
parameter which we can then use in the array annotation
* in C this function returns an integer pointer array and updates depth to the
number of integers in the array
* in a GI binding this returns the native array type for the bound language
(e.g. in PyGI this returns a list of integers)
This commit was created using a script that searched for all docstrings
containing a parameter and the string 'or %NULL'.
Gdk backends and demos excluded as they are not part of a public API

The Gtk-custom.c file in gir-repository contained a number of
introspection annotations. Merge those into the GTK source files.
Some documentation was moved from the tmpl/ files to accomodate
the addition of annotations.

* gtk/gtktreemodel.c (gtk_tree_path_to_string): Don't
corrupt memory when faced with paths with ridiculously
large indices. Found by the GTKVTS test suite.

* gtk/gtktreemodel.c: (gtk_tree_model_base_init): Changed the
language of the signals documentation slightly. Bug #340205.

* gtk/gtkrbtree.c:
* gtk/gtktreemodel.c: Fix several g_new() calls which
were using extra indirections or pointless casts.

* gdk/*.c: Intern some more strings.
* gtk/gtkintl.h:
* gtk/*.c: Define an I_() macro and use it instead of the
bulky g_intern_static_string().

* gdk/Makefile.am:
* gtk/Makefile.am: Intern type names in code generated by
glib-mkenums, too.
* gtk/*.c:

unnecessary copies.

Make PLT-reduction work with gcc4, and don't include
everything in gdkalias.h:
* gtk/grk.symbols: Group symbols by header and source file.
* gtk/makegtkalias.pl: Protect definitions by the same
preprocessor symbols used to guard the headers. Move
the alias declarations to a separate file which is
produced when calling makegtkalias.pl -def
* gdk/Makefile.am (gtkaliasdef.c): Add a rule to generate
this file.
* gtk/*.c: Include gtkalias.h after the other headers,
include gtkaliasdef.c at the bottom.
* gtk/*.h: Small cleanups.

Add hidden aliases for exported symbols which are
used internally in order to get rid of many PLT
entries. (#145519, Arjan van de Ven)
* gtk/Makefile.am: Add rules to generate gtk.def and
from gtk.symbols, and make make check check the abi
with abicheck.sh.
(gtk_private_h_sources): Add gtkinternals.h
(gtk_built_private_headers): Add gtkalias.h
(gtk_extra_sources): Add gtk.symbols
(EXTRA_DIST): Add makegtkalias.pl and abicheck.sh
* gtk/gtk.symbols: New file. Definition of the GTK+ ABI.
The file can be processed by cpp to filter out certain
subsets of symbols.
* gtk/abicheck.sh: New file. Script to check the actually
symbols exported from libgtk-x11.2.0.so against the symbols
found in gtk.symbols.
* gtk/makegtkalias.pl: New file. Perl script to generate the
header containing the alias definitions for internally used
exported symbols from a list of symbols.
* gtk/gtkinternals.h: New file. An uninstalled header listing
symbols which must be exported for some reason and do not appear
in any other header.
* gtk/*.c: Include gtkalias.h

wrong.

* gtk/gtktreemodel.c:
(row_inserted_marshal, row_deleted_marshal, rows_reorderered_marshal)
Actually call the default signal handlers instead of calling the
marshallers themselves in an endless loop. These default signal handler
callbacks are not actually set so this is only noticed by gtkmm at
the moment. Bug 123923.

Fix major bug in row ref handling, so the new combo box
will actually work right (:. Bug #107748. Patch written
with help from Tim Janik.
The basic idea is to update the row refs in a closure,
before the actual signal is emitted (rather than having
the model connect signal handlers).
* gtk/gtktreemodel.c (gtk_tree_model_base_init): change
g_signal_new calls for row_inserted, row_deleted and
rows_reordered to use the new marshallers,
(row_inserted_marshall), (row_deleted_marshall),
(rows_reordered_marshall): the new marshallers,
(gtk_tree_row_ref_inserted_callback): renamed to
gtk_tree_row_ref_inserted since it isn't a callback
anymore and gets called by the marshaller now,
(gtk_tree_row_ref_deleted_callback): likewise,
(gtk_tree_row_ref_reordered_callback): likewise,
(connect_ref_callbacks), (disconnect_ref_callbacks):
removed,
(gtk_tree_row_reference_new_proxy),
(gtk_tree_row_reference_free),
(gtk_tree_row_reference_inserted),
(gtk_tree_row_reference_deleted),
(gtk_tree_row_reference_reordered): updated.
