14a64c7372 levelbar: Hide internal structure from a11y
According to section 7.1 of WAI-ARIA, the meter role
has the "Children presentational" characteristic, which
indicates that children should not be represented in
the a11y tree.

c63087a563 Remove ATK
To build a better world sometimes means having to tear the old one down.
-- Alexander Pierce, "Captain America: The Winter Soldier"

ATK served us well for nearly 20 years, but the world has changed, and
GTK has changed with it. Now ATK is mostly a hindrance towards improving
the accessibility stack:

 - it maps to a very specific implementation, AT-SPI, which is Linux and
   Unix specific
 - it requires implementing the same functionality in three different
layers of the stack: AT-SPI, ATK, and GTK
 - only GTK uses it; every other Linux and Unix toolkit and application
talks to AT-SPI directly, including assistive technologies

Sadly, we cannot incrementally port GTK to a new accessibility stack;
since ATK insulates us entirely from the underlying implementation, we
cannot replace it piecemeal. Instead, we're going to remove everything
and then incrementally build on a clean slate:

 - add an "accessible" interface, implemented by GTK objects directly,
which describe the accessible role and state changes for every UI
   element
 - add an "assistive technology context" to proxy a native accessibility
API, and assign it to every widget
 - implement the AT context depending on the platform

6e52ef96a4 Move orientable style classes into GtkWidget
It feels slightly wrong to have GtkOrientable operate on widgets, but at
least what happens when an orientable widget changes orientation should
be part of GtkWidget.

This will allow to add more state changes without accessing widget state
from the outside of gtkwidget.c.

2d5cf2b4c4 Drop fallback-c89.c
We require a C compiler supporting C99 now. The main purpose of
these fallbacks was for MSVC. From what I can see this is now all supported
by MSVC 2015+ anyway.

The only other change this includes is to replace isnanf() with the
(type infering) C99 isnan() macro, because MSVC doesn't provide isnanf().

87c67e6ed3 LevelBar: Really fix underallocation of blocks
Themes should not enforce min sizes on blocks in continuous mode; in
this case, the filled block should be as large as it needs to be to
reflect the current value, and no larger or smaller than that. So, the
fact that the minimal size was selected on just levelbar block is wrong:
we should also require the levelbar.discrete class to apply min sizes.

The widget should enforce whatever correct minimum size results from the
above fix, by reapplying commit 78b4885fe8

Except: we should not allocate/draw the filled block if the value is 0,
as in this case, the LevelBar should be empty, not have a min-size fill.

This partially reverts commit 96062ffeae,
as it makes sense to set min sizes for discrete blocks, so keep that in.

36ab70ddf5 widget: Add baseline and out_clip parameters to size-allocate
Since setting a clip is mandatory for almost all widgets, we can as well
change the size-allocate signature to include a out_clip parameter, just
like GtkCssGadget did. And since we now always propagate baselines, we
might as well pass that one on to size-allocate.

This way we can also make sure to transform the clip returned from
size-allocate to parent-coordinates, i.e. the same coordinate space
priv->allocation is in.

ede6f2ab59 Slightly rework clip handling
always initialize clips to the (content) allocation, don't walk up the
widget hierarchy in gtk_widget_set_clip, implement
gtk_widget_size_allocate in GtkSeparator. This way we don't end up using
uninitialized clip values.

The entire clip handling is up for major rework since we can't and don't
want to force every single widget to call _set_clip in size-allocate
implementations.

73c3579e78 levelbar: Use widgets for all blocks
This replaces all internal gadgets with widgets.

Remaining problem: "block" nodes have a min-width of 32px in Adwaita,

8507083928 levelbar: update css nodes even when no offset value is found
GtkLevelBar supports adding custom offsets as style classes, and they
are applied whenever the :value property matches. The current code,
however, only updates any CSS nodes when an offset is found, causing
it to not update when a discrete value changes but no custom offset
is added.

Fix that by always updating the CSS nodes.
