This is used for widgets that contain the focus widget,
reserving the focused state for the focus location itself.
This aligns our focus state handling with

Allow setting the scope for a controller. The scope determines at what
point in event propagation the shortcuts will be activated.
Local scope is the usual activation, global scope means that the root
widget activates the shortcuts - ie they are activated at the very
start of event propagation (for global capture events) or the very end
(for global bubble events).
Managed scope so far is unimplemented.
This is supposed to be used to replace accelerators and mnemonics.

Instead of playing games with mapping negative symbolic values to
positive ones, let's use the appropriate constants everywhere. This
allows us to use:
GTK_CONSTRAINT_STRENGTH_WEAK * 2
Or
GTK_CONSTRAINT_STRENGTH_STRONG + 1
In code using the public API.
We also store the strength values as integers, so we can compare them
properly, and only turn them into doubles when they are inserted into
the solver, just like every other variable.
GtkConstraintSolver is an implementation of the Cassowary constraint
solving algorithm:
http://constraints.cs.washington.edu/cassowary/
The Cassowary method allows to incrementally solve a tableau of linear
equations, in the form of:
x = y × coefficient + constant
with different weights, or strengths, applied to each one.
These equations can be used to describe constraints applied to a layout
of UI elements, which allows layout managers using the Cassowary method
to quickly, and efficiently, lay out widgets in complex relations
between themselves and their parent container.
This will be used to let the inspector and other users
pick insensitive widgets again. For now, update all
callers to pass no flags, preserving the current
behavior.
Remove all the old 2.x and 3.x version annotations.
GTK+ 4 is a new start, and from the perspective of a
GTK+ 4 developer all these APIs have been around since
the beginning.
This is a bit of filechooser internals that gets shared with
nautilus, which is fine, but it shouldn't be part of our
public API. There are no other users than nautilus.
I hadn't noticed the :drop() pseudo state in the CSS4 Selectors
spec when I added this a while ago. This commit renames
GTK_STATE_FLAG_DND to GTK_STATE_FLAG_DROP_ACTIVE and adds
:drop(active) as equivalent to the :dnd pseudo state.
Under X11, popovers are always constrained to the toplevel
window. Under Wayland, they aren't. This commit adds a
property that allows to explicitly constrain popovers to
the toplevel, giving them the same behavior under Wayland
as under X11.

This commit makes button always draw background and frame.
Buttons with relief none get a new style class, FLAT, which
allows themes to style these buttons as they like.
We also (finally) mark GTK_RELIEF_HALF as deprecated. It
has never done anything different from GTK_RELIEF_NORMAL.

This phase is meant to run in the default widget handlers, as opposed
to externally as in the bubble/capture phase. This will be most usually
the expected phase for every controller replacing code in event handlers
in GTK+, just so invocation and triggering order is kept unaltered.
Gestures attached with this phase will expect callers to have it
receive events through gtk_event_controller_handle_event(), but
the gesture will still be notified of sequence state changes,
grabs, etc...
A controller can be optionally hooked on the capture or the bubble
phase, so the controller will automatically receive and handle events
as they arrive without further interaction.
Try to do a better job of keeping example content
from being too wide. It is often rendered as <pre>
text so the only time we can wrap it is in the source.
It is best to full break lines at all punctuation and
to try to keep the width under 70 chars or so.
Report a baseline based height and baseline whenever there
are children with ALIGN_BASELINE.
Assign baseline to childen in size_allocate. Either the one inherited
from the parent if set, or otherwise calculate one based on any
ALIGN_BASELINE children.
Setting this means baseline aware containers should align the widget
according to the baseline. For other containers this behaves like
FILL.
In order to not suprise old code with a new enum value we always
return _FILL for _BASELINE unless you specifically request it via
gtk_widget_get_valign_with_baseline().
This hint may be used in text widgets to inhibit their
input methods. The most compelling usecase is calculator
applications, which already have a builtin and better
suited onscreen keyboard.

'window-unfocused' is too long and mentions "focus" which is historically
loaded with the meaning "input focus".
'backdrop' isn't generally used in GUI speak and still conveys the state the
widgets in an unfocused or background toplevel window are in.
