Now that inputs (81152194) and outputs (3f0858ed) are explicitly set for
the preprocess stage we can enable the new build system.
Using the legacy build system will produce a build error in Xcode 13,
but the build will succeed:
error: The Legacy Build System will be removed in a future release.
You can configure the selected build system and this deprecation
message in File > Project Settings.

The auto-detection Xcode has for whether GPU capture should be enabled
always enables it for our projects, which adds up to second to the
startup time when debugging. There's no need to pay this cost unless
you're actively debugging Metal code.

The new build system in Xcode 10 requires outputs from shell script
to be explicitly declared if they are used by subsequent build phases,
otherwise the build system may attempt to search for the file before
it has been generated, causing the build to fail.
The build phase we use for Qt preprocessing (moc, rcc, etc), does not
list these output files, so we need to disable the new build system
for now.

Xcode 9 introduced the main thread checker, which detects invalid
use of AppKit, UIKit, and other APIs from background threads.

In our case these are accesses to e.g. [UIView layer] and
[UIScreen scaleFactor] from the render thread of QtQuick,
things we should look at, but that might not be easily solvable.
In any case, these are not warnings the user can do anything about,
so in lack of a per-library disable of the checker, we have to
globally disable it for the whole Xcode project.

Will be active when running test apps through Xcode's 'test' action,
and reports QtTestLib test objects and functions to Xcode as XCTest
cases.
This allows running tests on both iOS Simulator and iOS devices from
the command line, through xcodebuild, without relying on any 3rd party
tools. It also integrates Qt test failures and passes into the Xcode
IDE, which may be useful for closer investigation of test failures.
The feature is limited to Xcode 6.x.

A scheme is required to be able to run tests through Xcode, even from the
command line, but Xcode doesn't auto-generate the schemes until launched
as an application. Xcode also auto-generates schemes for all our targets,
but we only need one for the primary application target.

Qt copyrights are now in The Qt Company, so we could update the source
code headers accordingly. In the same go we should also fix the links to
point to qt.io.

... except for MAKEFILE_GENERATOR = XCODE. This means the spec no longer
hard-codes g++, and will work regardless of whether the default spec was
clang or g++.
This require us to set QMAKE_XCODE_GCC_VERSION properly for GCC, so that
additional compilation flags passed by Xcode will match the actual
compiler used.

The only difference between the two is that iOS append @executable_path/
to QMAKE_LFLAGS_SONAME, but since shared libraries are not supported on
iOS anyways, this is not really something we have to care about.

This is a step towards making mac a shared scope for both Mac OS X and
iOS, while macx is Mac OS X specific and ios is iOS specific.
We'll then move iOS to not include macx.conf, once we make the change
to not have iOS imply macx.

Allows us to dynamically generate the command line option for iOS later,
and allows the user to override QMAKE_MACOSX_DEPLOYMENT_TARGET with the
expected effect on the command line options.
We unset PERL5LIB to ensure we get the system Perl libraries, since the
Mac OS 10.6 CI machine seems to have a broken XML::Parser::Expat from
macports/CPAN.

Clang's libc++ does not support 10.6.
Add mac-minimum-version.conf which sets the version
to 10.6. Set the version to 10.7 in the clang-libx++*
mkspecs.

Remove all [PPC|PPC64|X86|x86_64] CFLAGS, CXXFLAGS
and OBJECTIVE_CFLAGS. Delete the arch prf files.
32/64 bit arch selection will be made using a different
mechanism in Qt 5. Universal builds are not supported.
