- Replace the usages of deprecated APIs by corresponding
alternatives in the library code and documentation.
- Build docs for deprecated APIs conditionally, based on deprecation
version. Remove the docs of methods deprecated since 5.0.0, these
methods are not compiled anymore.
- Modify the tests to make them build when deprecated APIs disabled:
* Make the the parts of the tests testing the deprecated APIs to
be compiled conditionally, only when the corresponding methods
are enabled.
* If the test-case tests only the deprecated API, but not the
corresponding replacement, add tests for the replacement

ultrix and reliant have not seen a release since 1995. dgux not since
2001. bsdi not since 2003. irix not since 2006. osf not since 2010.
dynix... unclear, but no later than 2002. symbian needs no mention.
All considered obsolete, all gone.
sco and unixware are effectively obsolete. Remove them until someone
expresses a real need.

Remove the member variable and instantiate only where needed
on the stack to prevent it from interfering with windows created
by other tests.
Remove flag Qt::X11BypassWindowManagerHint as it does not seem
to have any effect.

Given the flakyness of cursor positioning, loosen the check to only verify
that the cursor is outside the window. The hint is only active on Windows
depending on a system setting.

Don't cast a QDialog to a subclass it is not.
Fix by creating it as the required subclass in the
first place.

A dialog embedded into QGraphicsView has Qt::WA_DontShowOnScreen set
(similar to a native dialog). It must not trigger the modal handling
though as not to lock up.

QCursor::setPos with Cocoa integration is calling CGEventPost. Some time is required
before the cursor position is really set, so we can not immediately call QCOMPARE.

When a dialog was parented on a native child widget,
its window handle was used as a transient parent.
This confused QPlatformWindow::initialGeometry() among
other things. Use top level window as is in Qt 4.

Using show() might result in showFullScreen() on some platforms,
so let's use setVisible(true) which has the same effect and seems

Since QPlatformTheme covers all dialogs whereas QPlatformDialogHelper is
really only for the native dialogs then the SnapToDefaultButton hint is
moved as it has relevance for all dialogs

- Rename posFromMove to posIncludesFrame in Widgets and
make the handling more fine-grained; try to clean it up
as soon as the frame margins are known
in QWidgetPrivate::fixPosIncludesFrame().
- Implement QWidgetPrivate::updateFrameStrut().
- Windows: Handle posIncludesFrame in window creation,
notify changed geometry after setting window flags.
- XCB: Do not change the window gravity in propagateSizeHint()
as this causes the window to jump around. Determine
the gravity in window creation, leave it constant and
fix the geometry when setting instead.
- Store the normal geometry when maximize/fullscreen
state change events are received.
- Remove xfails from fixed tests

Use the C++ boolean constants true and false instead of the C macros
TRUE and FALSE (which are actually integers), and use QVERIFY instead of
QCOMPARE for verifying simple boolean expressions.

The moc tool is not aware of all defines (particularly those that are
compiler builtins) and does not correctly evaluate others that depend
on compiler builtins, such as Q_OS_FOO.
This commit reverts parts of the following commits, but is not a
complete fix as there were many instances of this problem in the tests
prior to those commits:
