when the file name is empty, the path will be returned verbatim. this
must be considered when constructing the return value.

if() would simply "downgrade" a fatal error to a false condition, which

The rationale being that the empty string is not a valid path component.
[ChangeLog][QtCore][QDir] QDir::relativeFilePath() now returns "."
instead of an empty string if the given path is the same as the
directory.
