This was used to support QFlags f = 0 initialization, but with 0 used as a pointer literal now considered bad form, it had been changed many places to QFlags f = nullptr, which is meaningless and confusing. All the standard features of application main windows are provided by Qt. Main windows can have pull down menus, tool bars, and dock windows. These separate forms of user input are unified in an integrated action system that also supports keyboard shortcuts and accelerator keys in menu items. Documentation for these examples can be found via the Examples link in the main Qt documentation.
