The documentation says that we scroll one pixel Quote: "QAbstractItemView::ScrollPerPixel (value 1)" "The view will scroll the contents one pixel at a time." However until now Qt has tried to be smarter than the documentation, but is actually getting in the way of the user, where a manual set value to setSingleStep will continuingly be overwritten (on e.g resize). This patch ensures the behavior described in the documentation for the vertical headers - and leaves the control to the user. [ChangeLog][QtWidgets][QAbstractItemView] QTBUG-7232 - In ItemViews scrollbars will now by default only scroll 1 pixel when scrollMode is set to scrollPerPixel. That is it will (when scrollMode is scrollPerPixel) do what is stated in the documentation, and no longer automatically adjust the scrollbars singleStep. The user can now control that value. This directory contains autotests and benchmarks based on Qt Test. In order to run the autotests reliably, you need to configure a desktop to match the test environment that these tests are written for. Linux X11: * The user must be logged in to an active desktop; you can't run the autotests without a valid DISPLAY that allows X11 connections. * The tests are run against a KDE3 or KDE4 desktop. * Window manager uses "click to focus", and not "focus follows mouse". Many tests move the mouse cursor around and expect this to not affect focus and activation. * Disable "click to activate", i.e., when a window is opened, the window manager should automatically activate it (give it input focus) and not wait for the user to click the window.
