androidtestrunner is a tool needed to run qt tests on Android. Now you can run tests as simple as you run them on Linux, macOS, Windows. "$ make check" it's all you need to run tests on the default android device. ANDROID_DEVICE_SERIAL env variable can be used to use a specific android serial. Use cases: $ make -j1 check -j1 is needed to make sure we don't run multiple tests in parallel. $ ANDROID_DEVICE_SERIAL="emulator-5554" make check Run the test on "emulator-5554" $ make TESTARGS="-- -xml" check Switch to xml output. All params after -- are passed to test application. $ make TESTARGS="-- -o out.xml, xml -o out.txt, txt -o -,tap -vs" check Create two files out.xml and out.txt in the current folder and print "tap" format to stdout and enable logging of every signal emission. [ChangeLog][Android] Make it easy to run Qt tests on Android. "$ make check" is all it's needed to run a test on an Android device. This directory contains autotests and benchmarks based on Qt Test. In order to run the autotests reliably, you need to configure a desktop to match the test environment that these tests are written for. Linux X11: * The user must be logged in to an active desktop; you can't run the autotests without a valid DISPLAY that allows X11 connections. * The tests are run against a KDE3 or KDE4 desktop. * Window manager uses "click to focus", and not "focus follows mouse". Many tests move the mouse cursor around and expect this to not affect focus and activation. * Disable "click to activate", i.e., when a window is opened, the window manager should automatically activate it (give it input focus) and not wait for the user to click the window.
