Hal Canary d7639aff10 Samples: clean up cruft
- replace virtual with override.
  - remove default constructor.
  - use default field initializers
  - move work from constructor into onOnceBeforeDraw
  - mark everything private
  - enum { N = 100 }; constants to constexpr
  - remove unused variables
