The test setup was as follows:
- Preparse function test() { ... }, get scope allocation data.
- Apply the scope allocation data to (function test() { ... })();
- Compare against normal scope allocation for (function test() { ... })();
But the IIFE is unnecessary - we already disable lazy parsing.
Cleaning this up is needed because in the next CL, I want to fix the Scopes
produced by PreParser in this case:
let f = function g() {
// Here we should declare g!
}
And that fix will make the variables in
function test() {
// Here we don't declare test
}
and
(function test() {
// Here we do declare test
})();
not match any more, so it doesn't make sense to compare them against each other.

Intend of this is also to have stream views.
Stream views can be used concurrently by multiple threads, but
only one thread may fetch new data from the underlying source.
This together with unified stream view creation is intended to be

Introduce 'contextual keyword' tokens, which are parsed as identifiers but
in some contexts are treated by the parser like proper keywords. These are
usually keywords introduced by recent ECMAScript versions, which for reasons
of backwards compatibility are still permissible as regular identifiers in
most contexts.
Current usage is to check for Token::IDENTIFIER and then do a string
compare. With this change the initial scan will scan them as usual, but
will then record the token as IDENTIFIER plus a secondary token with the
'contextual' value.

This pretty much rewrites the preparsed scope data collection. We used to store
the allocation result, but it's faster to just store the raw data which is
needed for deciding it later. (This way we don't need to run the allocation
algorithm for just getting this data.)
For each variable: is_used, maybe_assigned,
has_forced_context_allocation, and for each scope:
inner_scope_calls_eval_.
In addition, this CL moves data handling out of Scope and into
PreParsedScopeData where it belongs and simplifies the API for
PreParsedScopeData.

This cancels the changes in https://chromium-review.googlesource.com/c/444747

Produce the same scopes / variables for parameters (part 3).
This CL fixes the ordering + variable types in PreParser when there are
simple parameters + a rest parameter. In that case, Parser declares
unnamed temporaries for the non-rest params, then the rest param, then
the named variables (which are not parameters) for the non-rest params.

in preperation for enabling background compilation jobs for inner functions
share the AST in the outer-function's parse zone memory (read-only), with the
and zone being released when all compilation jobs have completed.

Due to hoisting, the value of a 'var'-declared variable may actually change even
if the code contains only the "initial" assignment, namely when that assignment
occurs inside a loop. For example:
let i = 10;
do { var x = i } while (i--):
As a simple and very conservative approximation of this, we explicitly mark
as maybe-assigned any non-lexical variable whose "declaration" does not
syntactically occur in the function scope. (In the example above, it
occurs in a block scope.)

The existing unit test explicitly checked for this case, but was - under
the right circumstances - defeated by the optimization to not re-run the
whole position search if we were close enough.

Downside: this adds all kinds of weird includes in the .cc files.

Reason for revert:
LiveEdit is broken in some cases.
Original issue's description:
> Store SharedFunctionInfos of a Script in a FixedArray indexed by their ID
>
> Now that SharedFunctionInfos have a unique ID (and the IDs are dense),
> we can use them as an index into an array, instead of using a
> WeakFixedArray where we have to do a linear scan.

Some minifiers use the pattern !function ... () for JS code that should
be immediately executed. This change recognizes that pattern and treats
it equally to parenthesized functions.
A bit more background info is in the referenced bug.

Removed a wrong condition test in TwoByteExternalBufferedStream. This changed fixes errors that may occur under some conditions.

- Eliminates *all* copies in the process.
- Moves (nearly) all functionality into Scanner::BookmarkScope.
- Significant code reduction.
[Needs to be rebased once crrev.com/2347883002 lands. All changes in *parser* are from that CL.]

This is in preparation for upcmoming scanner + bookmarking cleanups.
Also, drive-by fix for setting a bookmark close to the end of the stream,
when the look-ahead character (c0_) is kEndOfInput, which the bookmarking
logic also used as kNoBookmark.

- Smaller, more consistent streams API (Advance, Back, pos, Seek)
- Remove implementations from the header, in favor of creation functions.
Observe:
- Performance:
- All Utf16CharacterStream methods have an inlinable V8_LIKELY w/ a
body of only a few instructions. I expect most calls to end up there.
- There used to be performance problems w/ bookmarking, particularly
with copying too much data on SetBookmark w/ UTF-8 streaming streams.
All those copies are gone.
- The old streaming streams implementation used to copy data even for
2-byte input. It no longer does.
- The only remaining 'slow' method is the Seek(.) slow case for utf-8
streaming streams. I don't expect this to be called a lot; and even if,
I expect it to be offset by the gains in the (vastly more frequent)
calls to the other methods or the 'fast path'.
- If it still bothers us, there are several ways to speed it up.
- API & code cleanliness:
- I want to remove the 'old' API in a follow-up CL, which should mostly
delete code, or replace it 1:1.
- In a 2nd follow-up I want to delete much of the UTF-8 handling in Blink
for streaming streams.
- The "bookmark" is now always implemented (and mostly very fast), so we
should be able to use it for more things.
- Testing & correctness:
- The unit tests now cover all stream implementations,
and are pretty good and triggering all the edge cases.
- Vastly more DCHECKs of the invariants.
