abd024b5f3 [wasm] Rename a testing flag
Rename the '--wasm-max-code-space' flag to
'--wasm-max-committed-code-mb'. We will introduce a new flag to set the
maximum size of a wasm code space, so the old name would be misleadingly
close to the new flag.

8ab1c88c01 [debug] Add 'new.target' to the materialized stack locals for evaluate
This CL adds "new.target" to the ScopeObject with the materialized
stack local variables. It's only available if the parser actually
allocates a variable for it, otherwise we currently throw a
ReferenceError.

The added test also ensures that "new.target" is only included for
debug-evaluate, but NOT for the scope view. Having ".new.target"
show up there would be more confusing than helpful.

Drive-by: Remove bogus DCHECK. The context we try to lookup
"new.target" can be anything, not just a `with` context.

104c564460 [liveedit] Fix DCHECK when changing outer scope variables
This CL fixes the ScopeInfo::Equals DCHECK when we update "unchanged"
functions. We don't need to make sure the outer scope info matches
exactly. LiveEdit already makes sure that outer scope infos don't
change in a way that would be bad for "unchanged" functions. It's
fine if they only change subtly by e.g. moving a outer context variable from `let` to `const`.

Note that we don't touch existing closures on the heap, those
will still reference the old scope info.

ade6d191c8 [debug] Treat Comma-separated Expressions like Statements when Stepping.
This CL introduces statement positions before the right-hand side of
comma expressions, in order to align the stepping behavior (and also
generally the breakpoint behavior) around semicolon (;) and comma (,)
separated expressions.

The motivation here is that left-hand sides of comma expressions are
evaluated purely for their side-effects and as such, they aren't
really any different from statements from a developers perspective.
And more importantly, minifiers (like UglifyJS, terser, or esbuild)
by default turn statement expression lists into comma-separated
expressions, thus implicitly changing the stepping behavior in ways
that are difficult to understand for developers.

45026a66ef [liveedit] Replace ScopeObject instead of updating positions in-place
Currently, LiveEdit updates the source positions of unchanged SFIs
in-place (the SFI could have moved due to other functions changing).

This interfere with our plans to re-use ScopeInfo-based blocklists
for debug-evaluate. Entries in the global block list cache are keyed
by ScopeInfo's source position. Any closure that escaped a
debug-evaluate will point to the old ScopeInfo in its context chain
and the block lists should stay in-place in case the escaped closure
is called again.

Rather than updating ScopeInfos in-place, this CL updates the
ScopeInfo object wholesale for unchanged SFIs. This is safe todo
given that the old and new ScopeInfo are identical modulo source
positions.

Drive-by: Take the source position of the function token from the
`FunctionLiteral` rather than doing a more expensive position
translation.

contains spreads.

c45a214cb5 [debug] Remove confusing destructuring statement positions.
This change removes the confusing statement positions that were
previously emitted for every binding identifier within both array
and object destructurings. These statement positions were reported as
breakable positions to the debugger front-end, and during stepping, the
debugger would also stop on them. This is confusing and very different
from how other expressions work (we don't emit statement positions
within expressions normally).

Instead we emit expression positions for the binding identifiers, which
are used to construct the source positions for stack traces. As a drive
by we also add the missing position (and test cases) for sub-patterns.

In particular this aligns the stepping and breakpoint behavior around
destructuring expressions with that of Firefox DevTools.

We also remove the original test cases, introduced with
https://codereview.chromium.org/1542813003 and
https://codereview.chromium.org/1533313002, which were written as
debugger tests, with new inspector tests that also ensure that the
call positions are correct.

4739535d71 [debug] Remove breakable location right before suspending.
This aligns the breakpoint behavior of YieldExpression and
AwaitExpression with the behavior of AssignmentExpression
in V8. It basically boils down to not reporting expression
positions on SuspendGenerator bytecodes as breakable
locations.

In particular the initial implicit yield of any generator
function is no longer a breakable position. In light of
this changes we also refine https://crrev.com/c/2949099
to not be able to step to the initial implicit yield
either, which would otherwise be really odd.

ee9b0f9f02 [wasm-gc] Debugger: Provide type info for structs and arrays in tables
This change also modifies the way references are typed: Instead of
using the static type (which may be a generic type like anyref) the
actual type based on the referenced object is used.
While this is very useful for arrays and structs (and somewhat nice for
i31 not just being a number but also having some type information), it
means for non-null values that the reference type is "not nullable",
so it will show e.g. "ref $type0" although the static type might be
"ref null $type0".

variables with an `undefined` value we check the static scope
information if we are stopped *before* the variable's initializer.
If yes, then we are in the variable's TDZ and report
"value unavailable".

Drive-by: Mark `GetSourcePosition()` as `const` to make it available
in the visitor method.

aa101ca18f [debug] Fix scope for class member initializer
This CL removes the bailout when trying to collect the scope info
for the class member initializer function. While this might not have
worked previously, now we only need to tweak the scope search
slightly to fix this. Class member initializer functions never
have their own context but instead us the class context. That means
that most of the logic in debug-scopes.cc doesn't really matter and we
only need to initialize the ScopeIterator properly with the class
context and the member initializer JSFunction.

Note that this still does not fully fix bug 1350842. That is because
we still run into a DCHECk when paused at a `new class { ... }`
statement. We'll fix that in a separate CL.

5242128f7a [debug] Fix crash in debug scope search
This CL fixes a crash when we build the scope chain after re-parsing
for Debugger.evaluateOnCallFrame.

The following script causes the crash:

class A {
  test(){
    debugger;
  }
  f = (x) => {}
}
let a = new A()
a.test()

The current scope search tries to be smart and descends deeper
into the scope tree based on source position. That is not a sound
approach as V8 doesn't guarantee that sibling scopes don't overlap.

In the above case V8 creates an instance initializer scope where
f is assigned (and the initializer scope is the parent scope for
the arrow function). The problem is that the initializer scope
uses the same source range as the class `A` itself, so when we
look for the scope for `test`, we descend wrongly into the
initializer scope and can't recover.

The solution is to not try and be too smart:
  - First, find the closure scope with a straight-up DFS.
  - Once we have that, descend from there and try to find the
closest fitting scope around the break position.

d180d40d28 [wasm][devtools] Fix reported function body offsets
The DevTools frontend doesn't want the Wasm module's understanding of
function body offsets (i.e. including locals), but the ranges of
offsets where breakpoints can be set (i.e. only where instructions are).
This patch adjusts the reported offsets accordingly.
A consequence is that we have to report full (start, end) pairs for each
function, instead of being able to dedupe end1==start2 etc.

31850be1c2 [inspector] Introduce status result for Debugger.setScriptSource
This CL introduces a new `status` enum returned by setScriptSource.
We'll use the information in the DevTools frontend to show more
meaningful error messages as well as disambiguate compilation errors
from failed live edits.

Drive-by: Deprecate the sync and async stack traces in the result.
Currently `setScriptSource` is guaranteed to stay paused so there
is no need to send along the same information from the
preceeding `Debugger.paused` event.
In the future we will restart the top-most frame once we allow
the top-most frame to be edited. In that case the inspector
fires Debugger.resumed + Debugger.paused events following the
live edit also making the info returned here superfluous.

5e1f856d18 Add support for source hashing in stack traces.
This change adds support for computing SHA-256 hashes in the stack
output of errors by adding a function to the prototype of the
`CallSite` object, passed to `Error.prepareStackTrace`. Additionally,
it updates the `hash` property from `Debugger.scriptParsed` and
`Debugger.scriptFailedToParse` to be SHA-256 instead of the
proprietary hash it is today.

It is intended to be an advancement in indexing source maps to
support improved tooling, especially for post-hoc or in-production
diagnostics scenarios.

d821a6a373 [inspector] Fix mapping between location and offset.
We weren't really translating between location (line and column number)
and source position (character offset) consistently, especially when it
came to inline <script>s. There were also inconsistencies between what
Debugger.getPossibleBreakpoints and Debugger.setBreakpointByUrl would
do.

With this CL, we are now consistently operating under the following
assumptions:

(1) For inline <scripts>s with a //@ sourceURL annotation, we assume
that the line and column number that comes in via the protocol is
in terms of the source text of the script.
(2) For inline <script>s without said annotation, we assume that the
line and column numbers are in terms of the surrounding document.

This is finally aligned with how the DevTools front-end operates.

bbdb891668 [wasm] Fix termination on breakpoint
If the debug handler (called via {OnDebugBreak}) requests termination of

Handling this correctly is further complicated by the {DebugScope}
blocking any handling of interrupts via the included

Hence this CL refactors the code to call any debug handlers in a second
function which has the {DebugScope}, and to check for interrupts after
leaving that scope.

ec41a70e38 [inspector] Add 'canBeRestarted' flag to CallFrames when debugger pauses
Doc: https://bit.ly/revive-restart-frame
Context: https://crrev.com/c/3582395 (whole feature)

This CL adds a new optional flag `canBeRestarted` to every call frame
in Debugger.paused events. As the name suggests, the flag indicates
whether we can restart a particular frame through Debugger.restartFrame
once implemented.

We are not able to safely restart all frames:
  * We don't support WASM frames
  * We don't support frames where resumable functions (async fns,
generators) and embedder C++ frames are between the top-most
    frame and the to-be-restarted frame.

Note that from a CDP perspective the flag doesn't actually guarantee
a successful restart. CDP clients can issue
CDP commands between the Debugger.paused event and before a user
decides to restart a frame, which can potentially mess
with the stack.

The `canBeRestarted` flag tests are folded into the
Debugger.restartFrame tests. As the feature is not yet fully
implemented we short-circuit most of the tests for now and only
run them up until the first Debugger.restartFrame call fails
(except "fails-for-resumables.js").
This means the tests exercise the `canBeRestarted` flag, but not
the restarting functionality itself.

f6cb798753 [inspector] Add disabled tests for 'Restart frame' 2/2
Doc: https://bit.ly/revive-restart-frame
Context: https://crrev.com/c/3582395 (whole feature)

This CL adds the second batch of inspector tests for the upcoming
"Restart frame" feature. Landing the tests upfront allows us to
better discuss the proposed API as well as think early about
corner cases we should test.

The tests check for the functionality of `Debugger.restartFrame`, as
well as the newly added parameter `canBeRestarted` in
the `Debugger.paused` event.

a90f1748d2 [inspector] De-flake inspector/debugger/get-possible-breakpoints.js.
Since the inspector does not longer hold on strongly to Script objects
after they were collected by V8, this test was relying on the GC to not
collect the scripts too eagerly in case where nothing else holds on to
the script. So explicitly adding a global object property assignment
here in those cases to ensure that the Script is kept alive.
