To enable executing code in a context of a particular time or date (e.g. when
codepath depends on whether it's say evening or New Year) there is a need for
a way to provide it bypassing actual system time.

As part of J2V8 development (https://github.com/eclipsesource/J2V8),
we realized that we had a subtle bug in how Isolate scope was created
and it's lifetime managed, see:
https://github.com/eclipsesource/J2V8/issues/313.
Mentioned above bug was fixed, however, what we also noticed is that
V8 API has been constantly and slowly moving to such an API, in which
one has to pass Isolate explicitly to methods and/or constructors. We
found two more places that might have been overlooked. This contribution
adds passing of Isolate pointer explicitly to constructors of
String::Utf8Value and String::Value classes.

With --harmony-function-tostring enabled (now enabled by --harmony),
CompileFunctionInContext would produce incorrect results whenever called

Many websites use simple calls to String.prototype.indexOf with either a
one character ASCII needle or needles bigger than the search string. This
CL adds a TFJ builtin for these simple cases, giving up to factor 5 speedup.

We expect that the majority of malloc'd memory held by V8 is allocated
in Zone objects. Introduce an Allocator class that is used by Zones to

Expose the steps for incremental marking and idle scavenge more directly in
NewSpace. Adjust the NewSpace and Heap interfaces to allow callers to be more
clear about how they are interacting with inline allocation steps. This refactor
prepares the ground for more consumers of inline allocation steps (e.g. sampling

This tries to remove includes of "-inl.h" headers from normal ".h"
headers, thereby reducing the chance of any cyclic dependencies and
decreasing the average size of our compilation units.
Note that this change still leaves 7 violations of that rule in the
code. However there now is the "tools/check-inline-includes.sh" tool
detecting such violations.
