The `Script::source_url` field holds the value of the magic
`//# sourceURL` comment if found, and the `Script::name` field is
supposed to hold the actual name of the resource (as provided by
the embedder ideally), in case of Chromium that's supposed to be
the URL (in case of Node.js it's often the local path).
Using `source_url` worked by chance so far, but for loading DWARF
symbol files correctly we need the initiator (which we pick from
the embedderName of the Script as reported to DevTools). More
importantly, the partial handling of `//# sourceURL` in V8 is a
layering violation and causes trouble in DevTools, i.e. when users
put relative paths here. So as part of refactoring and correctifying
the handling of `//# sourceURL`, we need to make sure that the embedder
provided name (the URL in case of Chromium) is always stored in the
`Script::name` field.

Currently, wasm loop unrolling is disabled by default. We intend to
further investigate its compilation time cost and running time benefits
before enabling it.
Additional changes:
- Introduce LoopFinder::FindUnnestedLoopFromHeader() as a lightweight
loop analysis.
- Move EliminateLoopExit into LoopPeeling and expose it.
- Introduce loop_info_ field into WasmGraphBuildingInterface, fill it
up in Loop().
- Break after encountering the first loop in BuildNestedLoopExits.
- Introduce struct WasmLoopInfo. A WasmLoopInfo vector is instantiated
in ExecuteTurbofanWasmCompilation, passed to BuildGraphForWasmFunction
to be filled up by WasmGraphBuildingInterface, and then passed to
GenerateCodeForWasmFunction to be used in WasmLoopUnrollingPhase.
- Introduce WasmLoopUnrollingPhase and insert it into the wasm
compilation pipeline.
- Fix an issue where exception values were not wrapped in
WasmGraphBuilderInterface.
- Update --wasm-loop-unrolling flag description.

For asynchronous compilation, the beginning and end of compilation are
marked with different trace events. To allow to connect these events, a
compilation id is added to the start and end events. Note that the
compilation id is not added to all trace events to avoid bloating
traces. Ids may be added later to these events if necessary.

So far we reported the script ID, but DevTools ignores that and uses the
source url instead. That url was just set to "wasm ", which the frontend
couldn't make any sense of.
This CL fixes this by passing the source URL to the code create event,
and also setting the position of the code inside the script (i.e.
wasm module).

The interpreter is not an execution tier in production any more. It's
only used in tests.
Thus, remove {ExecutionTier::kInterpreter} and instead add a
{TestExecutionTier} that still has {kInterpreter}.
If needed (in {TestingModuleBuilder::execution_tier()}), we translate
back from {TestExecutionTier} to {ExecutionTier} (for {kLiftoff} and
{kTurboFan} only).
The {TraceMemoryOperation} method, which is shared between interpreter
and production code, now receives a {base::Optional<ExecutionTier>}, and
we will just pass en empty optional if called from the interpreter.

With the new Turbofan variants (NCI and Turboprop), we need a way to
distinguish between them both during and after compilation. We
initially introduced CompilationTarget to track the variant during
compilation, but decided to reuse the code kind as the canonical spot to
store this information instead.
Why? Because it is an established mechanism, already available in most
of the necessary spots (inside the pipeline, on Code objects, in
profiling traces).
This CL removes CompilationTarget and adds a new
NATIVE_CONTEXT_INDEPENDENT kind, plus helper functions to determine
various things about a given code kind (e.g.: does this code kind
deopt?).
As a (very large) drive-by, refactor both Code::Kind and
AbstractCode::Kind into a new CodeKind enum class.

Currently WebAssembly always goes through the ArgumentsAdaptorTrampoline
builtin for wasm-to-js calls as soon as there's a mismatch between the
actual number of arguments and the expected number of arguments.
This can be made faster in cases where:
1. the callee has "don't adapt arguments" set, which is often the case
for builtins, or
2. the callee has "skip adapt arguments" set, which is often the case
for strict mode functions.
TurboFan already supports this for JS calls:

Even though it is probably not as common to have arity mismatches in
Wasm->JS calls as it is in JS->JS calls, this still seems a worthwhile
optimization to do.
This CL ports the TurboFan fix to WebAssembly. In particular, the CL
introduces a new WasmImportCallKind (kJSFunctionArityMismatchSkipAdaptor)
for the case where the call to Builtins_ArgumentsAdaptorTrampoline
can be skipped, and modifies WasmImportWrapperCache::CacheKey to also
consider the arity of the imported JS function.

This removes the interpreter entry stubs, which are used to redirect
specific wasm functions to the interpreter. It is only needed when
mixing JS code with interpreted Wasm code, otherwise the test functions
just call the interpreter directly.
Thus a lot of tests that contain such interaction between JS and Wasm
need to be restricted to execute in Liftoff and TurboFan only.
After this CL, the WASM_INTERPRETER_ENTRY frame type and the
corresponding WasmInterpreterEntryFrame are dead, and will be removed in
a follow-up CL.

SIMD opcodes consist of the prefix byte, then an LEB128 encoded int. We
were decoding this incorrectly as a fixed uint8. This fixes the decoder
to properly handle multi bytes.
In some cases, the multi byte logic is applied to all prefixed opcodes.
This is not a problem, since for values < 0x80, the LEB encoding is a
single byte, and decodes to the same int. If the prefix opcode has
instructions with index >= 0x80, it would be required to be LEB128
encoded anyway.
There are a bunch of trivial changes to test-run-wasm-simd, to change
the macro from BUILD to BUILD_V, the former only works for single byte
opcodes, the latter is a new template-based macro that correct handles
multi-byte opcodes. The only unchanged test is the shuffle fuzzer test,
which builds its own sequence of bytes without using the BUILD macro.

This adds a flag to {WasmCode} objects to store whether this code was
generated for debugging. This flag can be set for Liftoff code (in which
case the code will e.g. have an extended prologue for debugging), but it
can also be set for TurboFan, in case Liftoff bailed out when producing
the debugging code.
Having this flag allows us to remove the hack to pass the compilation
results to {OnFinishedUnits} just to check whether we actually wanted to
compile Liftoff functions.
Drive-by: Replace the {ReachedRecompilationTierField} by a
{MissingRecompilationField}, because all we need to know is if we are
still waiting for that function to get recompiled.

Before the "debug" flag was stored on the {CompilationEnv}. But each
background compilation task only gets the {CompilationEnv} once when
starting compilation, so by the time it picks up the "Liftoff for
debugging" compilation jobs, it might still compile them without the
debug flag being set. This leads to flakes in the "debug-step-into-wasm"
test, because we won't stop in the function prologue when stepping in
(because the function prologue does not check the "hook on function
call" flag if debug mode was not enabled).
This CL does not increase the size of a compilation unit, since both the
tier and the debug flag only need a single byte each.
As a nice side effect, this change allows us to remove the lock in
{CreateCompilationEnv}, because no modifyable flag is read any more.

Adding code can happen in parallel (it includes copying the code to the
code region and relocation it). Publishing happens under one lock per
native module though. We eventually want to avoid blocking on this lock
for too long. This CL prepares that by splitting the actions of adding
and publishing code.

Introduces a new macro BUILD_V (v is for vector) that pushes bytes into
a vector (instead of directly in an array initializer, see BUILD). This
has the positive effect of being able to handle opcodes of multiple
bytes (e.g. SIMD opcodes bigger that 0xfd80). Because of this "API"
change, our helper macros in test-run-wasm-simd.cc and wasm-run-utils.h
need to change too. So, we introduce new macros (suffixed by _V), that
will call the appropriate lambdas defined in BUILD_V, that knows how to
push bytes into the vector, and also can handle multi-byte opcodes.
This design has a bit of duplication and ugliness, but was chosen to
reduce the impact of existing tests. No restructuring of test code is
required, we only need to add suffix _V.
Note that we do not have multi-byte opcodes yet (in wasm-opcodes.h),
this change will be breaking, and requires all the tests to be updated
to use _V macros first.

Most function signatures are created once and never changed. Hence pass
them as const pointer. This makes it clear in function signatures that
these parameters will not be modified.
This also avoids a few ugly const_casts where we were passing pointers
to constexpr FunctionSigs via non-const pointers.

This extends the debug side table to also store register locations in
addition to constants and stack values.
Previously, every value that was not constant was assumed to be spilled
to the stack. This made sense, because without breakpoints we would only
emit debug side table entries at call sites, where all registers are
spilled.
With breakpoints, this changes. At break locations, values might be live
in registers.
The logic to decide whether a value will live in the register or on the
stack is extended, because we sometimes generate the debug side table
entry at a point where the registers are not spilled yet. The debug side
table entry creation needs to account for that, and assume that these
registers will still be spilled.

Make WasmFeatures a proper class which uses an EnumSet under the hood.
This way, it inherits all behaviour of EnumSet like comparison, merge,
etc.
Accesses change from being simple field access into the struct to
actually bit tests in the EnumSet.

UMA data shows that we currently still allocate up to ten code spaces
per module. This is because the code size estimates are vastly off,
especially if both Liftoff and TurboFan is being used.
Also, code sizes differ by platform.
This CL adds more logic to the {EstimateNativeModuleCodeSize} function
to distinguish Liftoff and TurboFan, and to use different constants per
platform. A largeish comment explains how the numbers were generated,
and that they are an extreme over-generalization. However, without
further information about the module, this is the best we can do.
After all, being off even by a factor of two does not hurt too much, as
explained in the comment.

This makes the {code_size_estimate} computation explicit in the caller,
and removes one of the two {NewNativeModule} constructors. It turns out
that the calculation is totally off in the streaming calculation phase,
since no function bodies have been parsed yet. So all
{WasmFunction::code} fields are still empty, and we compute an estimate
that is way too low.
This CL prepares the actual fix for that (by computing a better estimate
at specific call sites).

This moves the code to allocate the far jump table from
{SetRuntimeStubs} to {AddCodeSpace} to allocate one such table per code
space.
Also, the {runtime_stub_table_} and {runtime_stub_entries_} fields do

This preserves the object identity of a {WebAssembly.Function} instance
that is being re-exported by a module. Such functions are considered to
have an internal [[FunctionAddress]] slot and hence require their object
identity to be preserved (similar to {WasmExportedFunction} already).

This removes the explicit {kCallWithCallerSavedRegisters} opcode which
is just a regular call node with special handling for saving/restoring
caller saved registers before/after the call. This is now handled via
the {CallDescriptor::kCallerSavedRegisters} flag.

I changed the parameter order (hopefully) everywhere to

This fixes a corner-case where a {WasmExportedFunction} that represents
a re-export of a JavaScript callable from another module was identified
correctly, but not all corner-cases were correctly covered. Concretely
we failed to check for function signatures incompatible with JavaScript.

This is the combined second and third step of refactoring indirect
function calls through tables with index > 0 to work without runtime
calls.
The first CL introduces the WasmIndirectFunctionTable heap object. For
a table of type anyfunc within a WebAssembly instance,
WasmIndirectFunctionTable stores the size, the signature id's, the
call targets, and the reference parameters for that table. I used the
names that are already used for the matching fields of the
WasmInstanceObject.
The second CL expands the IndirectFunctionTableEntry to work also on
WasmIndirectFunctionTable objects. All changes to a function table go
through this class.
The third CL introduces uses of the WasmIndirectFunctionTable. In this
CL I change the code generation in TurboFan to replace runime calls with
direct accesses to the new WasmIndirectFunctionTable. Additionally I
extended the initialization of WasmIndirectFunctionTable, and also
implement Table.grow.

Up until now, we cached export wrappers per export index. With the
anyref proposal potentially many more functions will need export
wrappers, e.g. any function that is stored in a table, and any
function accessed by the new ref.func instruction.
With this CL, we change the caching scheme an do the caching per
signature. Thereby we can guarantee that any export wrapper which
potentially exists can be stored in the cache.
For cctests which use wasm-run-utils, we don't know the size of the
cache anymore ahead of time. However, we assume that no more than
5 signatures will be used in any cctest. If this assumption is not
true, we can just adjust the number.
The cache is now accessed in all code paths where we need an export
wrapper.

I did the implementation with a runtime function. I extracted some code
from the implementation of table.get.
By accident I formatted anyfunc.js. However, since it's an improvement,
I don't want to undo it. I didn't change anything in the older tests
though, I only added new tests at the end.

Our {Vector} template provides both {start} and {begin} methods. They
return exactly the same value. Since the {begin} method is needed for
iteration, and is also what standard containers provide, this CL

The previous CL failed on Windows, but it was a general bug. The
dropped_elem_segments was not being set on the instance properly in
cctests, so`table.init` instructions would fail by reading uninitialized
data.
I took this opportunity to also add an implementation of
`elem.drop` in the interpreter, and ported the JS tests for those too.

Hints for lazy compilation are now taken into consideration. If the
custom hints section suggests lazy compilatin we do so unless the module
consists of a single function.

Both js-to-wasm-wrapper-cache-inl.h and wasm-import-wrapper-cache-inl.h
do not include any inl headers, thus they can be plain headers. If they
ever need to include inl headers again, we should split out the
respective functions into a separete inl header to follow the usual
pattern to have *both* a plain header *and* an inl header.

The reason for the revert was that Liftoff did not bail out on indirect
calls to tables other than table 0. Whenever the Liftoff code got
executed, the test would fail.

With this CL it is possible to use any anyfunc table in call-indirect,
not just the first table.
The current implementation is based on runtime calls. This is just an
initial implementation which should be replaced by a
dispatch-table-based eventually. However, this implementation allows
us to move forward with the anyref proposal implementation.

When running wasm tests, the interpreter previously used a static
collection of function indexes stored in WasmTable to perform
call_indirect calls internal to that module. This has the wrong behavior
if the table is changed (via WasmTableObject::Set, `table.copy`, or
`table.init`).
This CL changes the cctests to always generate an intepreter entry for
all functions, and stores those entries in the dispatch table. This
allows us to use the same execution path as for non-testing code.
The interpreter entry compiler needed to be changed to support
multi-value returns too, since a 64-bit integer return value may be
lowered to two 32-bit integer returns.

This prepares a refactoring to add and publish compilation results in
batches. For this, we need to separate the two phases, so that we can
lock the module, allocate all the code space, release the lock, copy
the code, lock the module, publish the code, and release the lock
again.
In particular, this CL does the following:
1) It removes the {AddOwnedCode} method. The functionality of creating
the {WasmCode} and memcpy'ing the instruction into that is done in
the other {Add*Code} methods. Adding to {owned_code_} is done in
{PublishCode}.
2) {PublishInterpreterEntry} is now functionally equivalent to
{PublishCode}, so it's removed.
3) After {AddCode}, the caller has to call {PublishCode}. In a
follow-up CL, this will be called in batches (first {AddCode} them
all, then {PublishCode} them all).
4) {AddCompiledCode} now assumes that the {WasmCompilationResult}
succeeded. Otherwise, the caller should directly call {SetError} on
the {CompilationState}.
5) {PublishCode} is now the chokepoint for installing code to the code
table, the owned code vector, the jump table, and setting interpreter
redirections. It replaces previous direct calls to {InstallCode} or
explicitly adding to {owned_code_}.
6) Increasing the {generated_code_size_} counter is now done in
{AllocateForCode}, which is the chokepoint for allocating space for
generated code. This way, we will only increase this counter once
once we allocate in batches.
