cead657371 [runtime] Clean up runtime function Arguments accesses
Replace all CONVERT_XXX_ARG_XXX() macros from runtime-util.h with direct
calls to Arguments or the fully expanded equivalent.

- This replaces many of the hard CHECKs with DCHECK (as is common
  practice in most V8 code)
- Instead of relying on verbose comments we now have readable code
- Rename Arguments.::xxx_at with Arguments::xxx_value_at since these
  methods don't return the Object but rather their double/int value

- Add Oddball::ToBool helper
- Add and use v8::internal::PropertyAttributesFromInt helper
- Add stronger DCHECK for PropertyAttributes returned in
  GetPropertyAttributesWithInterceptorInternal

a664aef0ca [asm] Reject import calls with too many parameters
The asm parser was missing a check for too many parameters for calls to
imported functions. For regular functions this check implicitly existed
because the limit was checked at the function declaration, and the call
site needs to match the declared parameter count.

0d1ffe30f8 [ic] name Set/Define/Store property operations more consistently
For background and reasoning, see
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1jvSEvXFHRkxg4JX-j6ho3nRqAF8vZI2Ai7RI8AY54gM/edit
This is the first step towards pulling the DefineNamedOwn operation out
of StoreIC.

Summary of the renamed identifiers:

Bytecodes:

- StaNamedProperty -> SetNamedProperty: calls StoreIC and emitted for
  normal named property sets like obj.x = 1.
- StaNamedOwnProperty -> DefineNamedOwnProperty: calls
  DefineNamedOwnIC (previously StoreOwnIC), and emitted for
  initialization of named properties in object literals and named
  public class fields.
- StaKeyedProperty -> SetKeyedProperty: calls KeyedStoreIC and emitted
  for keyed property sets like obj[x] = 1.
- StaKeyedPropertyAsDefine -> DefineKeyedOwnProperty: calls
  DefineKeyedOwnIC (previously KeyedDefineOwnIC) and emitted for
  initialization of private class fields and computed public class
  fields.
- StaDataPropertyInLiteral -> DefineKeyedOwnPropertyInLiteral: calls
  DefineKeyedOwnPropertyInLiteral runtime function (previously
  DefineDataPropertyInLiteral) and emitted for initialization of keyed
  properties in object literals and static class initializers. (note
  that previously the StoreDataPropertyInLiteral runtime function name
  was taken by object spreads and array literal creation instead)
- LdaKeyedProperty -> GetKeyedProperty, LdaNamedProperty ->
  GetNamedProperty, LdaNamedPropertyFromSuper ->
  GetNamedPropertyFromSuper: we drop the Sta prefix for the property
  store operations since the accumulator use is implicit and to make
  the wording more natural, for symmetry the Lda prefix for the
  property load operations is also dropped.

opcodes:

- (JS)StoreNamed -> (JS)SetNamedProperty: implements set semantics for
  named properties, compiled from SetNamedProperty (previously
  StaNamedProperty) and lowers to StoreIC or Runtime::kSetNamedProperty
- (JS)StoreNamedOwn -> (JS)DefineNamedOwnProperty: implements define
  semantics for initializing named own properties in object literal and
  public class fields, compiled from DefineNamedOwnProperty (previously
  StaNamedOwnProperty) and lowers to DefineNamedOwnIC
  (previously StoreOwnIC)
- (JS)StoreProperty -> (JS)SetKeyedProperty: implements set semantics
  for keyed properties, only compiled from SetKeyedProperty(previously
  StaKeyedProperty) and lowers to KeyedStoreIC
- (JS)DefineProperty -> (JS)DefineKeyedOwnProperty: implements define
  semantics for initialization of private class fields and computed
  public class fields, compiled from DefineKeyedOwnProperty (previously
  StaKeyedPropertyAsDefine) and calls DefineKeyedOwnIC (previously
  KeyedDefineOwnIC).
- (JS)StoreDataPropertyInLiteral ->
  (JS)DefineKeyedOwnPropertyInLiteral: implements define semantics for
  initialization of keyed properties in object literals and static
  class initializers, compiled from DefineKeyedOwnPropertyInLiteral
  (previously StaDataPropertyInLiteral) and calls the
  DefineKeyedOwnPropertyInLiteral runtime function (previously
  DefineDataPropertyInLiteral).

Runtime:
- DefineDataPropertyInLiteral -> DefineKeyedOwnPropertyInLiteral:
  following the bytecode/opcodes change, this is used by
  DefineKeyedOwnPropertyInLiteral (previously StaDataPropertyInLiteral)
  for object and class literal initialization.
- StoreDataPropertyInLiteral -> DefineKeyedOwnPropertyInLiteral_Simple:
  it's just a simplified version of DefineDataPropertyInLiteral that
  does not update feedback or perform function name configuration.
  This is used by object spread and array literal creation. Since we
  are renaming DefineDataPropertyInLiteral to
  DefineKeyedOwnPropertyInLiteral, rename this simplified version with
  a `_Simple` suffix. We can consider merging it into
  DefineKeyedOwnPropertyInLiteral in the future. See
  https://docs.google.com/document/d/1jvSEvXFHRkxg4JX-j6ho3nRqAF8vZI2Ai7RI8AY54gM/edit?disco=AAAAQQIz6mU
- Other changes following the bytecode/IR changes

IC:

- StoreOwn -> DefineNamedOwn: used for initialization of named
  properties in object literals and named public class fields.
  - StoreOwnIC -> DefineNamedOwnIC
  - StoreMode::kStoreOwn -> StoreMode::kDefineNamedOwn
  - StoreICMode::kStoreOwn -> StoreICMode::kDefineNamedOwn
  - IsStoreOwn() -> IsDefineNamedOwn()
- DefineOwn -> DefineKeyedOwn: IsDefineOwnIC() was already just
  IsDefineKeyedOwnIC(), and IsAnyDefineOwn() includes both named and
  keyed defines so we don't need an extra generic predicate.
  - StoreMode::kDefineOwn -> StoreMode::kDefineKeyedOwn
  - StoreICMode::kDefineOwn -> StoreICMode::kDefineKeyedOwn
  - IsDefineOwn() -> IsDefineKeyedOwn()
  - IsDefineOwnIC() -> IsDefineKeyedOwnIC()
  - Removing IsKeyedDefineOwnIC() as its now a duplicate of
    IsDefineKeyedOwnIC()
- KeyedDefineOwnIC -> DefineKeyedOwnIC,
  KeyedDefineOwnGenericGenerator() -> DefineKeyedOwnGenericGenerator:
  make the ordering of terms more consistent
- IsAnyStoreOwn() -> IsAnyDefineOwn(): this includes the renamed and
  DefineNamedOwn and DefineKeyedOwn. Also is_any_store_own() is
  removed since it's just a duplicate of this.
- IsKeyedStoreOwn() -> IsDefineNamedOwn(): it's unclear where the
  "keyed" part came from, but it's only used when DefineNamedOwnIC
  (previously StoreOwnIC) reuses KeyedStoreIC, so rename it accordingly

Interpreter & compiler:
- BytecodeArrayBuilder: following bytecode changes
    - StoreNamedProperty -> SetNamedProperty
  - StoreNamedOwnProperty -> DefineNamedOwnProperty
  - StoreKeyedProperty -> SetKeyedProperty
  - DefineKeyedProperty -> DefineKeyedOwnProperty
  - StoreDataPropertyInLiteral -> DefineKeyedOwnPropertyInLiteral
- FeedbackSlotKind:
  - kDefineOwnKeyed -> kDefineKeyedOwn: make the ordering of terms more
    consistent
  - kStoreOwnNamed -> kDefineNamedOwn: following the IC change
  - kStoreNamed{Sloppy|Strict} -> kSetNamed{Sloppy|Strict}: only
    used in StoreIC for set semantics
  - kStoreKeyed{Sloppy|Strict} -> kSetKeyed{Sloppy|Strict}: only used
    in KeyedStoreIC for set semantics
  - kStoreDataPropertyInLiteral -> kDefineKeyedOwnPropertyInLiteral:
    following the IC change
- BytecodeGraphBuilder
  - StoreMode::kNormal, kOwn -> NamedStoreMode::kSet, kDefineOwn: this
    is only used by BytecodeGraphBuilder::BuildNamedStore() to tell the
    difference between SetNamedProperty and DefineNamedOwnProperty
    operations.

Not changed:

- StoreIC and KeyedStoreIC currently contain mixed logic for both Set
  and Define operations, and the paths are controlled by feedback. The
  plan is to refactor the hierarchy like this:
  ```
  - StoreIC
    - DefineNamedOwnIC
    - SetNamedIC (there could also be a NamedStoreIC if that's helpful)
    - KeyedStoreIC
      - SetKeyedIC
      - DefineKeyedOwnIC
      - DefineKeyedOwnICLiteral (could be merged into DefineKeyedOwnIC)
      - StoreInArrayLiteralIC
    - ...
  ```
  StoreIC and KeyedStoreIC would then contain helpers shared by their
  subclasses, therefore it still makes sense to keep the word "Store"
  in their names since they would be generic base classes for both set
  and define operations.
- The Lda and Sta prefixes of bytecodes not involving object properties
  (e.g. Ldar, Star, LdaZero) are kept, since this patch focuses on
  property operations, and distinction between Set and Define might be
  less relevant or nonexistent for bytecodes not involving object
  properties. We could consider rename some of them in future patches
  if that's helpful though.

9d3d5f224c heap: Refactor sweeping finalization for young GC
Before a young GC, the scavenger finalizes a pending full GC sweeping,
in case there are no more running sweeping jobs, to avoid unnecessarily
pausing sweeping and then resuming it.

This CL moves this sweeping finalization from
ScavengerCollector::CollectGarbage to Heap::CompleteSweepingYoung, so
that it is also performed for the minor mark-compactor and that sweeping
is correctly attributed to the previous full GC cycle (instead of the
beginning young cycle). Furthermore, it also finalizes CppGC sweeping
if there are no more running sweeping jobs.

Currently, a streamed script which specifies 'use strict' is stored in

--interrupt-budget-for-maglev, initially set to 40KB (which should very
roughly by 1/10th of the time until the TF tierup decision is made).
On the first interrupt, a non-concurrent optimization to Maglev is
requested, which the next call to the marked function will perform.

- There is no support for tiering from Maglev to TF yet.
- Maglev's language support is minimal and tests are not expected to
  pass with --maglev.
- Disable --maglev by default for now.

6f16737f87 [arm64] Fix BlockPoolsScope when generating debug messages.
When running with the simulator, Assembler::debug() can record an inline
comment to be printed when the simulator encounters it. We need to make
sure pools are not emitted while the comment is recorded in the code

However the BlockPoolsScope was missing its margin argument to tell it
how much code we're going to generate, and could forget to emit pools
when it should have, causing crashes later on when a branch cannot jump
over the code comment.

The jump-table assembler tests have dedicated threads for writing and

switches between writing and executing, so we use a little struct for

This CL refactors Heap::GCTypeTimer and Heap::GCTypePriorityTimer

old style GC metrics, like gc_scavenger. When all such counters
are deprecated, GCTracer::RecordGCPhasesInfo will no longer be
necessary and will be removed.

205fb2958b Fail earlier on FreePages
{FreePages} is never expected to fail, and each caller wraps the call in
a CHECK macro. In order to learn more about failures, this CL moves the
CHECK inside of {::FreePages}, to fail whenever the {PageAllocator}
fails to free pages.

As a next step, I'll audit our {PageAllocator} implementations to ensure
that none of them return {false} for {FreePages}. Note that this is
already the case for the gin platform (chromium).

5145860836 [debugger] Fix step out when instrumentation breaks are turned on
When triggering a step out action, we check whether we already
are at a return or suspend location. If not, we first flood all
return positions with breakpoints, set the fast_forward_to_return_
flag and continue.

With the new way of reporting instrumentation breakpoints, we now
may get into the situation where we stopped on an instrumentation,
but may still need to continue until we reach the return point for
the step out. This CL fixes a bug in which we ran into a DCHECK
that expected us to stop on a return location (since
fast_forward_to_return_ is set to true), but we didn't.

Drive-by: adapt other stepping tests to properly wait for all pauses

3984ddc0a9 cppgc: young-gen: Always execute custom weak callbacks for old objects
Custom callbacks assume that untraced pointers always point to valid,
not freed objects. They must make sure that upon callback completion no
UntracedMembers point to an unreachable object. This may not hold true
if a custom callback for an old object operates with a reference to a
young object that was freed on a minor collection cycle. To maintain
the mentioned invariant, the CL calls custom callbacks for old objects
on every minor collection cycle.

The alternative options could be:
1) Replacing all UntracedMembers with WeakMembers, since WeakMember
   supports tracing and the barrier.
2) Emitting the generational barrier for UntracedMember + tracing
   UntracedMember on minor collection cycles.
The first option requires changing multiple use sites and can bring some
performance regression. The second option requires changing the GC logic
and the semantics of UntracedMember.

a7a996ab39 [web-snapshots] Add runtime function for WebSnapshot creation Part I
This CL prepares WebSnapshot for skipping and re-injecting external
references in the web snapshot. External references are encoded as
separate object type and allows us to create partial snapshots at
runtime and reconnect a deserialised snapshot to an existing
object graph.

Part II will also collect all objects which cannot be serialized by the
web-snapshot serializer.

Usage:
  snapshot = %WebSnapshotSerialize(root, skip_externals);
  object = %eWebSnapshotDeserializ(snapshot, replaced_externals);

Drive-by-changes:
- Reduce JSObject Map size in serializer (we ended up with 4 embedder
  fields)
- Avoid adding non-HeapObject to the discovery_queue_
- Split off ReadXXX handlers into separate functions

41024b433f [wasm][32-bit] Always grow memory by a factor
On 32-bit platforms, we generally don't over-allocate backing stores
for Wasm memories. That leads to quadratic overall complexity of
repeated growth operations by a few pages each though. To fix that,
this patch introduces a small over-allocation factor: when we have
to reallocate to grow a memory, we now grow by at least 1/8th of the
memory's previous size.

Previously, V8_OS_MACOSX was, somewhat confusingly, also used for iOS.
With this CL, V8_OS_DARWIN will be set on both macOS and iOS,
V8_OS_MACOS only on macOS, and V8_OS_IOS only on iOS.

This CL also renames V8_TARGET_OS_MACOSX to V8_TARGET_OS_MACOS and
renames platform-xnu.cc to platform-darwin.cc.

2b63d5d093 [heap] Add flag for disabling map space
Now that we are able to compact map space, we can also get rid of the
map space and allocate maps in the old space instead. This CL introduces
a FLAG_map_space for enabling/disabling the map space but the map space
remains enabled by default for now.

Without a separate space for maps, the GC can't prevent relocation of
maps anymore. Therefore this CL always allows compaction of maps when
running without a map space. Rename flag to --compact-maps to better fit
this scenario.

mkgrokdump and debug_helper also need to be updated to look for maps
also in the old space. The map space is now optional.

5839231f7b [test] Automatically add --no-stress-opt to message tests
Message tests check the output of a test against an expected file.
Executing with --stress-opt changes the output, since the test will be

the --no-stress-opt flag.

Since this is redundant, and not a per-test setting, just configure this
globally for all message tests instead.

1025bf26e3 [shared-struct] Prototype JS shared structs
Unlike the Stage 1 proposal, for simplicity the prototype does not add
any new syntax, instead opting for exposing a SharedStructType
constructor which takes an array of field names. This type constructor
returns constructors for shared structs.

Shared structs can be shared across Isolates, are fixed layout, have no
prototype, have no .constructor, and can only store primitives and
other shared structs.

The initial prototype does not have TurboFan support.

8f3c341936 [heap/cppgc] Disable guard pages on ARM64 macOS
Guard pages are 4k areas at the beginning and end of each oilpan page
(128kiB) which are meant to be inaccessible. However on ARM64 macOS, the
OS page size is 16kiB, meaning that these are not inaccessible. But we
do pay for these, as they are part of the first and last OS
page. Meaning that we effectively waste 2 * 4kiB = 6.25% of each Oilpan
page.

Since these are not serving their purpose, disable them on this
platform. Another fix could be to make the guard page 16kiB, but given
that the entire oilpan page is 128kiB, this may have adverse effects on
e.g. fragmentation.

Note that this doesn't regress security, as the regions were never
protected to begin with on this platform.

921135c705 [wasm] Handle arguments in stack-switching export wrapper
Use the existing generic js-to-wasm wrapper to handle arguments in
the stack-switching export wrapper, by combining them into a single
helper function parameterized by a boolean.

If the stack_switch parameter is false, the generated js-to-wasm wrapper
is the same as before.

If the stack_switch parameter is true, we allocate and switch to the new
stack before starting to process the parameters. To load the parameters,
we also keep a pointer to the old stack.
After the call, we convert the return value according to the return type
as usual, and then switch back to the parent stack (which may be
different than the original stack, but has a compatible stack frame
layout).
If the stack suspends during the call, control-flow jumps right before
we deconstruct and leave the frame, and returns the Promise as an
externref in the return register.

6e06d756b7 [sandbox] Disallow executable pages inside the sandbox
These should not be allowed inside the sandbox as they could be
corrupted by an attacker, thus posing a security risk. Furthermore,
executable pages require MAP_JIT on macOS, which causes fork() to become
excessively slow, in turn causing tests to time out.
Due to this, the sandbox now requires the external code space.

In addition, this CL adds a max_page_permissions member to the
VirtualAddressSpace API to make it possible to verify the maximum
permissions of a subspace.

8bad451601 Remove the OptimizationTier enum
This was mostly unused. We should simply be able to use CodeKind plus
related predicates instead.

Replace FeedbackVector::optimization_tier with
maybe_has_optimized_code, which states whether the optimized code
cache is filled. The value is updated lazily and may lag behind the
actual code cache state. We only use this field for quick cache-empty?
checks from generated code.

3f5c2dda67 cppgc: young-gen: Implement GenerationalBarrier for source objects
The generational barrier for source objects records the entire source
object to be processed later during remembered set visitation. It's
planned to be used for Blink backing stores when an inlined object (or a
range thereof) is added (HeapAllocator::NotifyNewObject(s)).

An alternative approach would be to eagerly process the inlined objects
using a custom callback. However, this requires changing Visitors to
bring slots into the context. This approach should better work for
scenarios where small ranges or single elements are added, to avoid
processing potentially large backing stores. The followup CL implements
this idea.

24ff6e28c7 Reland "[runtime] Refactor TransitionsAccessor"
This is a reland of c927ada76c

Fix: Recalculate encoding after an allocation (that can potentially
trigger GC) in EnsureHasFullTransitionArray.

Original change's description:
> [runtime] Refactor TransitionsAccessor
>
> Problems:
> - The class uses a bare Map field, but some methods can trigger GC
> causing it to have a potential dangling pointer in case of map
> compaction.
> - Some methods invalidate the object state and should not be used again.
> - Complicate logic with a no_gc and a gc aware constructors. Some
> methods can only be called if the object is constructed with a
> particular constructor (e.g, Insert and PutPrototypeTransition).
>
> Note: Most usages of this class is done by constructing an object and
> calling a single method:
> `TransitionAccessor(...).Method(...)`
> So we can easily change them to a static method.
>
> This CL:
> 1. Adds DISALLOW_GARBAGE_COLLECTION to the class.
> 2. Makes methods that can trigger GC static.
> 3. Creates static helper functions that wrap the class in a different
> scope, since TransitionsAccessor now forces the scope to disallow gc.
> 4. Removes now unnecessary "Reload" logic.

2b96e854f5 [compiler] Make accumulator index 0 in liveness bitvectors
Previously, the accumulator was at the end of liveness bitvectors, which
meant that checking for accumulator liveness required a length lookup.
This CL moves it to the start of the bitvector, with registers starting
at index 1 -- the assumption is that the addition of 1 to the index on
register liveness access can be constant folded away.

As a cleanup, replace all the custom liveness printing code with a
single unified ToString. This places the accumulator at the end of the
printed liveness, to avoid having to change test expectations (also, the
position of the accumulator is now an implementation detail). As a
similar cleanup, change StateValue node building to use the
BytecodeLivenessState interface rather than the underlying bitvector.
These two cleanups allow us to remove the raw bitvector accessor from
liveness entirely.

318719a14d [wasm][fuzzer] Restructure and fix bugs in wasm-compile
Changes:
- GenerateInitExpr should emit a function reference to a function that
  is known to exist when funcref is expected.
- Add functions by signature index to the WasmModuleBuilder, so we avoid
  signature canonicalization, which currently does not work for wasm-gc.
- Remove printing of recursive groups in the WasmModuleBuilder. Instead,
  restrict type definitions to only refer to previous types.
- Some local restructuring of code, comments.

b88c5a8d4f [debug] Handle instrumentation breakpoints separate from regular breaks
This changes the way how we are handling instrumentation breakpoints.

Motivation:
with instrumentation breakpoints, we need a way to break
on (conditional) breakpoints that were just set by the client on
the instrumentation pause.

How:
We want to first find out if we have an instrumentation break, and
trigger a pause. For this to work, we need to distinguish between
regular and instrumentation breakpoints in the debugger back-end.

On resume, we want to check if we have hit any breakpoints (may
now contain new breakpoints due to the client setting new breakpoints
at the previous instrumentation pause) and trigger a separate pause
for them.

c927ada76c [runtime] Refactor TransitionsAccessor

658012eac1 heap: Bug fix and refactor the tracing of GC cycles
This CL fixes a bug in the tracing of full GC cycles that was introduced
by https://crrev.com/3432211. In doing so, it refactors the tracing of
cycles by introducing an explicit state in GC tracing events, which
follows the phase within the GC cycle as perceived by the tracer. Two
new methods, (Start|Stop)AtomicPause are introduced; together with
(Start|Stop)Cycle they mark the state transitions. The existing methods
(Start|Stop)ObservablePause are now disentangled from cycles and state
transitions.

01eb8ff9d0 [heap] Support --expose-gc with shared heap
--shared-string-table assumes that all old strings are in the shared
heap. However, when also using --expose-gc we create an external string
for the GC function name. So far external strings are always allocated
in the local old space though, which results in a heap verification
error. This CL creates external string in the shared old heap with
--shared-string-table enabled.

In order to pass all the tests this CL also has to:

* Stop marking into the shared heap for VisitEmbeddedPointer and
  VisitCodePointer.
* Relax DCHECK in String::GetFlatContent: We cannot check the thread
  id for any shared string. Even if that string isn't really shared atm.

0823b36d35 [init] Install console API to context extras binding
Not all environments (like ShadowRealm) would expect console
APIs to present in their globals. Moving console API to
context's extras binding to allow them to be still
snapshotted to not slow down the bootstrap.

The console API is not removed from the global in this CL,
but it is planned to be removed in the later release.

cb4f3c6957 [regexp] Don't check for excess zone allocations
The regexp parser historically has tried to gracefully detect and bail
out from excess zone allocations, where 'excess' was determined to be
an arbitrary limit of 256MB.

This leads to issues now that the regexp parser may run from within
the JS parser - the JS parser doesn't observe this arbitrary limit and
happily keeps allocating until the underlying allocator actually runs
out of memory; this way, the JS parser can handle very large JS files,
and it's now counterproductive if the regexp parser (which reuses the
JS parser zone) bails out on excess allocations.

This CL simply removes the excess_allocation mechanism.

536e96cc1a [debug] Implement stepping out of async functions in the debugger.
Previously the inspector was trying to handle step-out for async
functions by annotating the async stacks, but this was merely a
hack and didn't work reliably

(a) when the async caller that is `await`ing the result of the
    callee was still in the synchronous part (because then there
    was no async task yet in the inspector), or
(b) not at all when the async stack tracking wasn't enabled or the
    maximum async stack depth was too small.

This CL replaces that hack with a pragmatic solution inside the
V8 debugger, where upon `await` we memorize the async function
object of the caller on the outer promise of the callee, and when
stepping out of the callee we check whether the returned promise
has a memorized async function object and if so, we schedule that
to resume.

This CL thereby effectively reverts https://crrev.com/c/1054618
and replaces it with a V8 debug solution, and thereby further
reduces the (memory) overhead of an AsyncStackTrace.

aa8cf1f0c2 Refactor Name::Hash
We introduce a new information type ForwardingIndex to be stored in
the Name::Hash field (to be used in the future).
To do so we use the 2 least significant bit to distinguish types
of information stored in the hash field (in contrast to only bit 1
to distinguis integer indicies from "real" hashes).
This motivated a refactor to use base::BitField for the hash field.

- Suspender.returnPromiseOnSuspend expects a function with type

Changes:
- Check the wrapped function's return types
- Skip type checking of return types when importing a wrapper (and
assert that the return type is externref)
- Add special case for WebAssembly.Function.type of a
WasmExportedFunction: it currently returns the signature declared by
the module. Change the return type to externref if this is a
stack-switching export.

6bb35b8c83 handles: Only reclaim TracedNode during atomic pause
TracedNode is used as backing node for v8::TracedGlobal (with
destructor) and v8::TracedReference (no destructor).

A future change adds concurrent marking for TracedReference which
requires that the node stays around until the atomic pause to avoid
synchronization with the concurrent marker.

This change prepares TracedNode in prolonging the lifetime until the
it is actively cleared ("sweeped") in the atomic pause. This allows
for spuriously keeping alive a TracedNode for an additional GC cycle
in the case the the node was destroyed while the marker is running.

We maintain eager clearing of nodes where possible, i.e., outside of
incremental marking.

18469ec4bf [wasm] Implement bulk memory operations on memory64
This makes the bulk memory operations respect the memory type, i.e.
using i64 values for memory offsets if memory64 is enabled.

The called C functions now expect memory offsets to be passed as
{uintptr_t}, such that we can address any memory on all systems. For
64-bit memories on 32-bit systems, the upper half of the 64-bit value is
checked in compiled code before passing the lower half to the C
function.

Liftoff support turned out to be a bit harder than expected, because we
cannot hold three 64-bit values in registers on ia32 (not enough
registers...). Thus implement that in a follow-up CL.

73a1c635fe heap: Fix the tracing of GC cycles
Conceptually, a full GC cycle completes when the sweeping phase is
finished. As sweeping is performed concurrently, this happens after
Heap::CollectGarbage has returned and, at the latest, before the next
full GC cycle begins. However, an arbitrary number of young GC cycles
may happen in the meantime. Tracing information for the sweeping phase
must be added to the corresponding full GC cycle event. Until now, this
was not done correctly: this information was added to the GCTracer's
current event and could thus be attributed to a subsequent young or full
GC cycle.

This CL introduces methods GCTracer::(Start|Stop)Cycle to delimit a
cycle (still allowing for full GC cycles to be interrupted by young GC
cycles). These methods are different from (Start|Stop)ObservablePause,
which delimit the observable pause of each GC. The events of "pending"
full GC cycles are kept until they are properly amended and reported,
when the sweeping phase is finished.

62bd0c9958 [inspector] Fix catch prediction for promise rejection handlers.
Previously we'd predict exceptions thrown in [[Reject]] handlers as
always caught (by PromiseRejectReactionJob), but that's not what is
actually specified in ECMAScript. The PromiseRejectReactionJob will turn
any exception thrown into a promise rejection just like we do in the
case of PromiseFulfillReactionJob, and so the catch prediction should
match that behavior.

This reverts commit 7f26cbd291.

Reason for revert: Issue 1292333: DCHECK failure in op->IsStackSlot() || op->IsFPStackSlot() in code-generator-x64.cc

Original change's description:
> [fastcall] Add Wasm entry for Fast API calls
>
> Allow Wasm to generate calls directly to Fast API C functions.
> This massively reduces the overhead of these calls (~300%).
> Currently options parameter is not supported.

8bb8bfdefc [wasm-gc] Remove rtts with depth
Since inheritance depth of every type is known in the isorecursive
hybrid type system, rtts with depth are removed. This enables
simplification of type checks in Liftoff and Turbofan, as well as
decoding of object allocation instructions.

74970067cb [relaxed-simd] Skip FMA interpreter tests on Mac/ARM64
They're failing due to Inf/NaN differences after the latest clang roll,
skipping for now to keep the tree green. A follow-up CL will likely want
to broaden the expectations for these tests to allow both Inf & NaN in
certain cases.

d96934c741 Revert "Reland "[Torque] Generalize Torque literals to larger size""
This reverts commit 517ed4ad00.

Reason for revert: There still seems to be an issue on V8 Win msvc related to this CL (https://ci.chromium.org/ui/p/v8/builders/ci/V8%20Win64%20-%20msvc/20568/overview).

Original change's description:
> Reland "[Torque] Generalize Torque literals to larger size"
>
> Previously, literals in Torque were stored as double values, which
> made it impossible to precisely represent 64 bit integer values.
> This CL replaces the old literal expression with an integer and
> floating point literal expression that are unbounded in size. We
> allow implicit conversion of these literals to arbitary integer
> and floating point types respectively and insert a corresponding
> bounds check into generated CSA.
>
> Changes in the reland: Simplified IntegerLiteral to single digit.
