e428dfd773 [objects] Rename JSValue to JSPrimitiveWrapper
We currently use the class name “JSValue” for JSObjects that wrap
primitive values. This name is a common source of confusion. This patch
switches to a name that’s more clear.

In addition to manual tweaks, the patch applies the following mechanical
global replacements:

before                          | after
--------------------------------|--------------------------------------
if_valueisnotvalue              | if_valueisnotwrapper

15ea19dbca [torque] Stricter object field verification, part 2
This change removes the special case in the Torque compiler for types
that descend from JSObject: they will no longer get implicit
"| Undefined" appended to their types for verification purposes. It
removes any additional custom verification steps in objects-debug that
are made redundant by that change.

In order to do so safely, I categorized all cases where we were
implicitly adding "| Undefined" to the field type, as follows:

1. Classes that aren't using the generated verifier function (we should
   probably revisit these, but for now we at least know they're safe):
   - JSGlobalObject
   - JSFinalizationGroup
   - JSFinalizationGroupCleanupIterator

2. Classes where the existing verifier is already at least as strict as
   what we would get after removing the implicit "| Undefined":
   - JSDate
   - JSPromise
   - JSRegExp
   - JSRegExpStringIterator
   - WasmMemoryObject
   - JSWeakRef
   - JSStringIterator
   - WasmExceptionObject
   - JSListFormat (fixed in part 1)
   - JSPluralRules (fixed in part 1)
   - JSRelativeTimeFormat (fixed in part 1)
   - JSSegmenter (fixed in part 1)
   - JSArrayBufferView (fixed in part 1)
   - JSTypedArray (fixed in part 1)

3. Classes where, to the best of my knowledge based on code inspection,
   we already initialize the object correctly to pass the new stricter
   generated verifier:
   - JSFunction
   - JSArrayIterator
   - JSMessageObject
   - JSBoundFunction
   - JSAsyncFromSyncIterator
   - WasmModuleObject
   - JSAsyncFunctionObject

4. Classes that needed some adjustment to their initialization order to
   avoid exposing uninitialized state to the GC:
   - JSArray (only in Factory::NewJSArray; Runtime_NewArray and
              CodeStubAssembler::AllocateJSArray already behave fine)
   - WasmTableObject
   - JSDateTimeFormat
   - JSNumberFormat
   - JSCollator
   - JSV8BreakIterator
   - JSLocale
   - JSSegmentIterator
   - JSModuleNamespace

5. Classes that had incorrect type definitions in Torque:
   - WasmGlobalObject (category 4 after correction)

6. Classes that weren't fully initialized due to bugs:
   - JSGeneratorObject
   - JSAsyncGeneratorObject

This is a reland of 4b86fea530 with

4b86fea530 [typedarray] Move external/data pointer to JSTypedArray.
As the next step in supporting huge typed arrays in V8, this moves the
external/data pointer from the FixedTypedArrayBase backing store to the
JSTypedArray instance itself, and replaces the special backing stores
with a plain ByteArray (removing all the code for the FixedTypedArrayBase
class hierarchy). By doing so, we can drastically simplify the system
around typed arrays.

Note: Several places in the code base used to check the instance type
of the elements backing store of a JSTypedArray instead of checking the
elements kind on the JSTypedArray map directly. Those had to be fixed,
since the backing store is now always a ByteArray.

Drive-by-fix: Move all the typed elements access related code into the
elements.cc file to properly encapsulate the accesses.

a335f2aeed [cleanup] Replace simple typedefs by using
This replaces all typedefs that define types and not functions by the
equivalent "using" declaration.

This was done mostly automatically using this command:
ag -l '\btypedef\b' src test | xargs -L1 \
     perl -i -p0e 's/typedef ([^*;{}]+) (\w+);/using \2 = \1;/sg'

Patchset 2 then adds some manual changes for typedefs for pointer types,
where the regular expression did not match.

878ccb33bd [cleanup] Avoid {Object::operator->}
This CL was generated by an automatic clang AST rewriter using this
matcher expression:

  callExpr(
    callee(
      cxxMethodDecl(
        hasName("operator->"),
        ofClass(isSameOrDerivedFrom("v8::internal::Object"))
      )
    ),
    argumentCountIs(1)
  )

The "->" at the expression location was then rewritten to ".".

4b0f9c856e [cleanup] Use Vector::begin instead of Vector::start
Our {Vector} template provides both {start} and {begin} methods. They
return exactly the same value. Since the {begin} method is needed for
iteration, and is also what standard containers provide, this CL
switches all uses of the {start} method to use {begin} instead.

Patchset 1 was auto-generated by using this clang AST matcher:
    callExpr(
        callee(
          cxxMethodDecl(
            hasName("start"),
            ofClass(hasName("v8::internal::Vector")))
        ),
        argumentCountIs(0))

Patchset 2 was created by running clang-format. Patchset 3 then
removes the now unused {Vector::start} method.

6cac1382f4 [cleanup] #include heap-inl.h less often
This takes heap-inl.h out of the "Giant Include Cluster".
Naturally, that means adding a bunch of explicit includes

them before.
As of this patch, no header file outside src/heap/ includes
heap-inl.h.

455200e009 [cleanup] Move some stuff out of objects-inl.h
HeapObject::SizeFromMap() was too large to get inlined anyway.
HeapObject::IsFoo() predicates should be implemented in foo-inl.h,
because that's what they depend on.
This patch also fixes up includes: dropping unnecessary ones from
object-inl.h, and adding them in other places that previously
relied on getting them transitively.

592aeefa8d Defer inferring language mode as far as possible
Inferring the language mode involves iterating the stack to find the
closure. This is an expensive operation and should be done only when
required. This cl changes the implementation to infer the language
mode only when we can't defer it any further. Currently, we infer the
language mode when throwing an exception or when passing this
information to PropertyCallbackArguments.

This cl also changes the language mode parameter to SetProperty
related methods to Maybe<ShouldThrow>. We only use the language mode to
decide if we need to throw and using ShouldThrow instead of language
mode simplifies the code by avoiding conversions from Maybe<ShouldThrow>
to Maybe<LanguageMode> and vice-versa.

2e36e9ea1e Don't use |v8_initializers| code in |v8_base|
Removing |CodeStubAssembler| from |v8_base| source list (see
https://chromium-review.googlesource.com/c/v8/v8/+/1346329) leads to
linkage problems with some build configurations because it was explicitly
and implicitly included in |v8_base| code.

f68ee6e7e4 [typedarrays] Use Detach instead of Neuter
This is purely a renaming change. The ES spec uses the term 'detach'
for the process of removing the backing store of a typed array, while
V8 uses the historical term 'neuter'. Update our internal implementation,
including method names and flag names, to match the spec.

Note that some error messages still use the term 'neuter' since error
messages are asserted by some embedder tests, like layout tests.

7aac6bc905 [cleanup] Make unicode predicate cache tables static
Moves the unicode predicate cache tables out of the unicode cache,
and turns them into generic predicates in char-predicates.h which
use static constexpr tables.

This drops the per-isolate cost of unicode caches, and removes the
need for accessing the unicode cache from most files. It does remove
the mutability of the cache, which means that there may be regressions
when parsing non-ASCII identifiers. Most likely the benefits to ASCII
identifiers/keywords will outweigh any non-ASCII costs.

We now clearly differentiate between:
- unseeded hash for 32-bit integers

2fde54330a [cleanup] Move enum Heap::RootListIndex to enum class RootIndex
and introduce RootsTable - a V8 heap roots storage.

So, the renaming part looks like this:
  Heap::RootListIndex -> RootIndex
  Heap::kBlahBlahRootIndex -> RootIndex::kBlahBlah

c696376e0b Reland [in-place weak refs] Fix MaybeObject function names
E.g., "ToWeakHeapObject" was misleading, since it didn't convert to a weak heap
object, instead returned a weakly pointed heap object. Change the function names
(in this case, to "GetHeapObjectIfWeak") to reflect this.

Also make casts explicit, if a MaybeObject is an Object, we can call cast<Object>().
