Some wxWindowBase functions were marked deprecated prior to wx 3.0 release
and therefore they should be inserted into WXWIN_COMPATIBILITY_2_8 blocks
to mark them for removal in a future wx version.
Don't unconditionally use wxWidgets' implementation of IAccessible for
all windows when wxUSE_ACCESSIBILITY is 1, because it is inferior to the
system provided one: it often lacks appropriate labels, doesn't fully
support navigation and wxIAccessible isn't fully implemented.
The approach, when using MSAA, recommended by Microsoft documentation is
to customize accessibility for custom controls only, by proxying to the
standard and overriding what is necessary. By making this change, user
code is still allowed to customize accessibility if needed, without
negatively impacting standard controls that don't need any custom code.

Since the changes of 8034e35391 (see #16870)
accelerators, including the standard ones such as Ctrl-F4 under MSW, didn't
work any longer inside the MDI children.
Fix this by extending IsTopNavigationDomain() to allow for checking whether
the given window should stop propagation of all keyboard events, as wxTLW
does, or only TAB navigation ones as wxMDIChildFrame and wxAuiFloatingFrame
do.
Cocoa has been the default toolkit in wxWidgets for a long time. There is really no good reason to use Carbon in 2016 and this removes a lot of unused and unmaintained code.
Windows CE doesn't seem to be supported by Microsoft any longer. Last CE
release was in early 2013 and the PocketPC and Smartphone targets supported by
wxWidgets are long gone.
The build files where already removed in an earlier cleanup this commit
removes all files, every #ifdef and all documentation regarding the Windows CE
support.

This deprecated method was never actually defined, so could never be used. The
fact that nobody complained about it would seem to be an indication that it is
not used anywhere, so just remove it.

Allow calling this method with either wxSize, wxPoint or just an int.
Also provide a static overload allowing to use it even when no appropriate
wxWindow is available.
This method allows to scale a pixel value by a DPI-dependent factor to the
value used by the underlying toolkit only if necessary, i.e. when not using
GTK+ 3 or OS X which already do this internally.
While calling SetToolTip(wxToolTip*) overload already worked correctly for
wxCompositeWindow, using SetToolTip(wxString) did not if a tooltip already
existed, as it didn't use the virtual DoSetToolTip() in this case, resulting
in e.g. impossibility to update wxSpinCtrlDouble tooltip using this method.
Fix this by introducing DoSetToolTipText() virtual which is used by that
overload now and overriding it in wxCompositeWindow.
Also don't override DoSetToolTip() in wxSpinCtrlGenericBase any more, it is
not necessary as it's already done by its base class wxCompositeWindow.

This merges in the latest sources from GSoC 2014 wxQt project with just a few
minor corrections, mostly undoing wrong changes to common files in that branch
(results of a previous bad merge?) and getting rid of whitespace-only changes.
Also remove debug logging from wxGrid.

This must be done both at wxWidgets and MSW level, otherwise changing the ID
results in window not recognizing itself as the recipient of the messages sent
to it by Windows.

This compiler is not being developed since several years and almost certainly
can't be used to build the current wxWidgets sources anyhow, so remove all
support for it, including a lot of extremely ugly workarounds for its bugs
with template functions.

This port is not used and is not being worked on, so remove it to reduce the
amount of the code which needs to be updated for every global change.

This macro should be used instead of wxDEPRECATED() for the new deprecations
as it allows to give a helpful explanatory message (if supported by the
compiler) and also is simpler to use as it doesn't require wrapping the entire
declaration in it but can be simply used before it.
Also add wxDEPRECATED() support for clang as a side effect.

All mouse capture-related data doesn't have to be declared in wxWindow itself
and can just be global in wincmn.cpp, so move it there, this will facilitate
further changes as they won't require recompiling everything any more.

This keyword is not expanded by Git which means it's not replaced with the
correct revision value in the releases made using git-based scripts and it's
confusing to have lines with unexpanded "$Id$" in the released files. As
expanding them with Git is not that simple (it could be done with git archive
and export-subst attribute) and there are not many benefits in having them in
the first place, just remove all these lines.
If nothing else, this will make an eventual transition to Git simpler.

There was a bug similar to the one in the preceding commit with radio boxes
under wxMSW too: if all radio box buttons were disabled (or hidden, although
this should be much more rare in practice, unlike the disabled case which was
deemed to be rare in r74583 commit message but turned out to actually happen),
the radio box still pretended to accept focus but didn't really do it.
Fix this by allowing to override wxWindow::CanBeFocused() and do it in
wxRadioBox to check whether we have any enabled visible items.
Also add a check for CanBeFocused() to wxControlContainer code.

Don't change the background colour when the control is being enabled or
disabled, it doesn't seem necessary and it's unclear why was this added by
r10179 in the first place. It does result in problems however as it could
somehow make the selection of wxTextCtrl invisible when it lost focus and so
fixes a serious usability problem which happened to all wxTextCtrls for which
a wxEVT_UPDATE_UI handler using wxUpdateUIEvent::Enable() was defined.

These functions will be used when it is necessary to determine the best size
of the control if one of its size components is fixed. Currently none of the
classes implements DoGetBestClient{Height,Width}() yet but wxListCtrl will do
it soon, see #13898.

This method simply sets the same tooltip for the window but making copy of,
instead of taking ownership of, the wxToolTip passed in.
It's not especially useful on its own but is needed by wxCompositeWindow and
might be handy elsewhere.

The keyboard navigation code correctly checked that TAB was not propagated
above the TLW containing the window in which the key was pressed to avoid
switching focus between different TLWs by pressing TAB.
However wxMDIChildFrame is not a TLW and so it was possible to switch focus
between two different MDI child frames by pressing TAB. This was unexpected
and counterintuitive, especially because the frame receiving focus was not
even activated (which might be another bug).
Fix this by adding a new wxWindow::IsTopNavigationDomain() virtual method that
can be overridden to indicate that a window is a self-contained "keyboard
navigation domain" and that keyboard events shouldn't propagate outside of it
and override it in both wxTopLevelWindow and wxMDIChildFrame to ensure that it
behaves correctly.

Applied patch by snowleopard2 fixing a bunch of typos such as misspellings and double words in the documentation. Combined the patch with some local queued typos waiting to be committed as well as adding new typo fixes inspired by the patch.
Function names with American spelling were not changed nor was third-party code touched. The only code changes involve some changes in strings that are translated ("Can not" -> "Cannot").

Implement DoGetBorderSize() properly for wxGTK and use the difference between
the full window size and the client size for all the ports not implementing
this method. The latter is incorrect in the presence of the scrollbars but is
the best we can do in general.
