This function is not used any more since e289eb07e1 (Get rid of
non-POSIX code for loading dynlibs on *nix, 2020-05-13), so don't check
for it and don't defined the corresponding HAVE_SHL_LOAD symbol.
Reduces the amount of #ifdefs scattered all over the code, thereby
simplifying the code.
The function was renamed from Error() to ReportError() to emphasize what
its purpose is.
Error messages logged on *nix are now a bit more verbose, as they are
prefixed with our own description text, which were earlier omitted on
platforms using the dlxxx() API.
We don't have our own dlxxx() implementations under Darwin since 76c5594
(Remove our own dlxxx() functions emulation for OS X <= 10.3.,
2013-10-17).
wxHAVE_DYNLIB_ERROR is reduced to being the same HAVE_DLERROR, so use
the latter one instead.
Closes https://github.com/wxWidgets/wxWidgets/pull/1826
This port is not used and is not being worked on, so remove it to reduce the
amount of the code which needs to be updated for every global change.
Also remove tests for VisualAge compiler which isn't used since ages.

Use dladdr() under Unix, if available, to provide the same functionality as we
get from GetModuleHandleEx() under MSW and export it in a new public function.

This keyword is not expanded by Git which means it's not replaced with the
correct revision value in the releases made using git-based scripts and it's
confusing to have lines with unexpanded "$Id$" in the released files. As
expanding them with Git is not that simple (it could be done with git archive
and export-subst attribute) and there are not many benefits in having them in
the first place, just remove all these lines.
If nothing else, this will make an eventual transition to Git simpler.
Closes#14487.

Contrary to the documentation, this function incorrectly appended the
.bundle extension on OS X for libraries as well as modules.
Fixed to use .dylib for libraries (wxDL_LIBRARY) and continue to use
.bundle for loadable modules (wxDL_MODULE). Change GetDllExt() to take optional wxDynamicLibearyCategory argument.

The module names are not necessarily ASCII strings, so use wxString instead of
"char*" and W-version of GetModuleHandle() if appropriate.

This change prepares the way for using wxGTK under Windows as this would
still define __WINDOWS__ but use __WXGTK__ instead of __WXMSW__.

Rename old private wxGetModuleHandle() function to wxDynamicLibrary::
MSWGetModuleHandle() to allow its use in the dll sample.
This fixes the sample compilation with VC6 which lacks GetModuleHandleEx()-
related declarations.

1. Clearly document the wxDL_XXX macros; including their implicit usage
of m_ok member variable
2. Made sure they're used in the same way in all places they are used
(sometimes they were passed an object, sometimes a pointer, breaking
compilation: see patch 1791288)
3. Don't allocate wxDynamicLibrary objects on heap unnecessarily (which
removes the need to delete -- or leak, as it was -- them afterwards)
4. Some naming convention fixes
