c9f7896861 first phase of transition to unified Unicode build: 
1. changed c_str() to return wxCStrData (implicitly convertible to wxChar*)
2. added template type-safe wrappers for vararg functions
3. added wxUniChar class representing single Unicode character
4. changed wxString::operator[] and wxString::iterator to return wxUniChar

b792828e20 generic animation sources are used under all platforms so put them in ADVANCED_CMN_SRC/HDR instead of listing them for each platform; this fixes double inclusion (and resulting link problems) of animateg.cpp in wxUniv builds

64d3ed176d Steps towards implementing native-style, non-top-level toolbars on Mac 
by implementing a toolbar class that uses native buttons.
Ultimately this should allow wxToolbook and wxPropertySheetDialog
classes to look native, when we complete the button API improvements
to combine text, bitmaps and toggling.

0ee4059da2 Ran bakefile -f autoconf and autoconf. 
Some missing headers have been added, the *NODOT variables were
added to samples makefiles and the version changed from 2.6.2 to 2.7.0.
Generated configure now includes "OS/2" fixes per wxAutohacks.

bf354396f6 wxMediaCtrl patch from Ryan: 
- factored out Active X code into separate files
- also refactored common part of all backends in mediactrlcmn.cpp
- adds async loading from URLs support to Mac version
- support for ShowPlayerControls() in Mac wxMediaCtrl
- more minor bug fixes in the MSW version and the sample

44d64ab23b Moved src/mac/corefoundation/hid.cpp from base library to wxMac and wxCocoa 
core libraries so that wxGetKeyState is implemented in the core GUI library
as it is for any other toolkit.
NOTE: This breaks binary compatibility.

fc480dc16b Moved wxStandardPathsCF into base library when using CarbonLib or Darwin. 
Make wxStandardPathsBase::Get() return a wxStandardPathsBase reference.
Implement it using wxAppTraits::GetStandardPaths() which is overridden by
wxMac and wxCocoa GUI libraries to return a reference to a wxStandardPathsCF.

ed9e79665c Removed the "include/" from the corefoundation headers in files.bkl so 
they will actually get installed.  I expect that the other "include/"
prefixes need to be removed too but I left them in case I am wrong.
