This keyword is not expanded by Git which means it's not replaced with the
correct revision value in the releases made using git-based scripts and it's
confusing to have lines with unexpanded "$Id$" in the released files. As
expanding them with Git is not that simple (it could be done with git archive
and export-subst attribute) and there are not many benefits in having them in
the first place, just remove all these lines.
If nothing else, this will make an eventual transition to Git simpler.

Encapsulate the code temporarily incrementing wxOpenModalDialogsCount in a
small helper class to make it easier to reuse it elsewhere.

Ubuntu overlay scrollbar changes the GtkWindowGroup for its toplevel, which is
disastrous for modal windows. Put in a hack to detect and undo this.

The font is explicitly documented as being possibly NULL in the base class and
wxMSW handles NULL font just fine, so also handle it in the GTK version.

Add a new private wxTextMeasure class implementing methods for measuring text
and move the often duplicated (but not always identically) code for doing the
same from wxDC and wxWindow into it.
Currently this class is only really implemented in wxMSW and wxGTK.
Also extend the test for text measuring functions and rename it to
MeasuringTextTestCase from MeasuringContextTestCase as it's not wxGC-specific
any more.

This signal has been removed from GTK3. Instead have wxPizza keep track of child
size, and use gtk_widget_set_size_request() for wxWindows in native containers.

The code using GDK_META_MASK was moved to wx/gtk/private/event.h from
gtk/window.cpp but the fallback definition of GDK_META_MASK for GTK+ < 2.10
remained in window.cpp.
Move it to the header as well now so that it can be compiled with GTK+ < 2.10
again.

Add an extremely simple RAII wrapper around GList and use it.
Also add wxGtkTreePathList which also automatically frees its contents to
simplify working with the lists of GtkTreePaths.

We support building against newer GTK+ version and using an older
one at runtime, so we must provide our implementations of these
functions even if GTK_CHECK_VERSION would indicate the function is
already available in GTK+.

Fixed commented names (path, filename, and extension) of files in include/ and src/. Prepended the names in src/ with "src/" everywhere, while starting those in include/wx/ with "wx/".

Only the main headers (e.g. gtk/gtk.h) should be included and GTK+ 3 is strict about this. Enable compile-time checks for this that work with GTK+ 2.24.

There are no real changes in this commit but it removes all trailing white
space from our source files. This avoids problems when applying patches and
making diffs and it would be nice to prevent it from reappearing.

When it is present, no-window widgets sometimes don't get expose events for
reasons I could not determine. And it is dubious that it improved scrolling
performance on modern hardware anyway, and almost certainly doesn't help now
that GTK+ is using "client side windows".

It simply ignored the passed in rectangle meaning that the text was always
drawn at the top left corner of the cell rectangle.
Also more code cleanup: collect all render call parameters in a single struct
and provide a public function to set them all at once instead of making them
public.

Add wxGTKImpl::ConvertMessageTypeFromWX() function to convert from wxICON_XXX
styles to GTK_MESSAGE_XXX values.
