Windows CE doesn't seem to be supported by Microsoft any longer. Last CE
release was in early 2013 and the PocketPC and Smartphone targets supported by
wxWidgets are long gone.
The build files where already removed in an earlier cleanup this commit
removes all files, every #ifdef and all documentation regarding the Windows CE
support.
Closes https://github.com/wxWidgets/wxWidgets/pull/81
When using C++11 we can provide implementations of wxApp::StoreCurrentException()
and RethrowStoredException() ourselves and thus make catching exceptions outside
of the event loop work by default.
Do this and update the documentation and the sample to reflect it.

These methods can be used to ensure that the exceptions thrown from event
handlers are safely rethrown from the code dispatching the events once the
control flow gets back there.
This allows to work around the problem with not being able to propagate
exceptions through non-C++ code and can be used, for example, to catch
exceptions thrown by the handlers invoked from inside wxYield() by a try/catch
block around wxYield() -- something that didn't work before, update the except
sample to show that it does work now.

This demonstrates that under 64 bit Windows exceptions may not propagate
through the kernel code and throwing from inside wxYield() results in either
an immediate abort, even if the code calling wxYield() tries to handle the
exception, or, even more surprisingly, is just completely ignored.
See http://blog.paulbetts.org/index.php/2010/07/20/the-case-of-the-disappearing-onload-exception-user-mode-callback-exceptions-in-x64/
for more information.
Moreover, independently of Windows weirdness, throwing from wxYield() also
results in a difficult to debug crash when using wxGTK because C++ exceptions
can't propagate through C GTK+ code in this case.

This keyword is not expanded by Git which means it's not replaced with the
correct revision value in the releases made using git-based scripts and it's
confusing to have lines with unexpanded "$Id$" in the released files. As
expanding them with Git is not that simple (it could be done with git archive
and export-subst attribute) and there are not many benefits in having them in
the first place, just remove all these lines.
If nothing else, this will make an eventual transition to Git simpler.

Break into the debugger in the function containing the assert that failed
instead of inside wxWidgets assert handler which is several (~8) levels below
the last line of the user code. This is much more useful in practice and also
less confusing.
Currently this only works for MSVC as the other compilers don't have any
__debugbreak intrinsice equivalent.
Also update the except sample to test wxTrap() directly too.

Add a special symbol which is defined only if the icons and other images (e.g.
cursor) are in the separate resource files and don't need to be embedded as
XPMs in the main program.
This makes the checks more clear and more customizable as it's enough to
change wxHAS_IMAGES_IN_RESOURCES definition instead of changing many platform
checks.

MS and Apple guidelines mention ellipses should generally be used when a command needs additional information from the user before the operation can execute. This is not the case for showing an about dialog so the ellipses have been removed.

Don't call wxTrap() when an assert in a non-main thread fails. As asserts are
now always enabled by default, this is not a good idea. Instead just show the
full details about the assert failure using wxMessageOutputDebug under the
platforms without MT-safe message box function (i.e. everything but MSW
currently).
Add a possibility to test an assert happening in non-main thread to the except
sample.

These tests are unnecessary now because asserts are almost always enabled. We
could test for wxDEBUG_LEVEL but the code still compiles even if it's defined
as 0 so there doesn't seem to be any need for it.

from public to protected. Adapt wxWidgets code and wxWidgets samples to always use wxWindow::GetEventHandler()
when calling such functions on a wxWindow rather than directly using wxWindow::ProcessEvent, etc.
This enables correct event dispatching to the event handlers which have been pushed (with PushEventHandler) on the
windows.
