PREMAKE RELEASE CHECKLIST

PREP

 * Create working branch for release prep

 * Update the version number in src/host/premake.c and commit

 * Make sure branch passes all tests on all platforms

 * Update CHANGELOG.txt as needed

 * Prep release announcement for forums


RELEASE

 * Merge working branch to release branch

 * Merge working branch to development branches

 * Close working branch


PACKAGE

 * Run `premake5 package release source` (from Posix ideally)

 * On each platform, run `premake5 package release binary`


PUBLISH

 * Upload packages to SourceForge

 * On SourceForge, set package properties (platform, etc.)

 * Update the download page
   http://industriousone.com/premake/download

 * Post release announcement to the forums

 * Update the Latest News on the project home page

 * Post annoucement to @industrious on Twitter

 * Post announcement to email list

 * Post announcement to Industrious Facebook group

 * Add release to Freshmeat
   http://freshmeat.net/projects/premake
