f6450b97ec Reland [super] Store home object in Context instead of JSFunction
1) Computed property keys (esp functions in them) shouldn't be inside
the object literal scope.

2) I was using an imprecise "maybe uses super" and storing it to
preparse data. This won't fly, since it pollutes sister scopes and
leads to confusion wrt whether an object literal needs a home object
or not. Made it precise (mostly cancelling changes in the original CL).

3) PreParser::NewSuperPropertyReference was creating a VariableProxy for
this_function (which made it used) -> inconsistent scopes between
parsing and preparsing.

4) MultipleEntryBlockContextScope was messing up the accumulator

2893b9fbd6 [parser] Parser support for import assertions in dynamic import()
There's a bit more work to do to add support for import assertions for
dynamic import().  This is the first of a series of changes to do that.

This adds parser support for the form of import() that takes import
assertions per https://tc39.es/proposal-import-assertions/#prod-ImportCall

A future change will pass the assertions expression along to
Runtime_DynamicImportCall where the assertions will be unpacked and
filtered per Isolate::supported_import_assertions_.

d81161ea9d Remove redundant RunParserSyncTest calls in ImportExpressionErrors
When --harmony-dynamic-import was removed in
https://chromium-review.googlesource.com/c/v8/v8/+/2509942 it looks
like we were left with some redundant invocations of
RunParserSyncTest/RunModuleParserSyncTest in ImportExpressionErrors.
This removes them.

f47e59e045 [asserts] Make assert scopes LocalHeap friendly
Because of LocalHeap safepoints, our existing assert scopes don't
necessarily maintain the same guarantees as desired. In particular,
DisallowHeapAllocation no longer guarantees that objects don't move.

This patch transitions DisallowHeapAllocation to
DisallowGarbageCollection, to ensure that code using this scope is
also protected against safepoints.

73f8a71003 Sort import assertions by code point order of the keys
Per https://tc39.es/proposal-import-assertions/#sec-assert-clause-to-assertions,
import assertions should be sorted by the import assertion [[Key]]s,
in order to prevent hosts from relying on a changing order of the
assertions to determine behavior.

Prior to this change, the assertions were being sorted by pointer. With
this CL, the keys are sorted using a code point ordering so that the
order of the assertions received by the host will be stable and
non-surprising.

This CL also switches the SourceTextModuleDescriptor's ModuleRequestMap,
RegularExportMap, and RegularImportMap to use the code point order
comparison rather than their former shortlex sort.  This change will not
be externally visible, but it seems best to make these consistent.

In order to avoid #including the fairly large ast-value-factory.h
into ast/modules.h, I changed ImportAssertions into a separate class
definition rather than keeping it as a typedef.  The alternative would
be to define a common AstRawStringComparer in ast-value-factory.h and
then #include ast-value-factory.h in both ast/modules.h and
parsing/parser.h so that the ImportAssertions typedef would have a
full, shared definition of the AstRawStringComparer type.

Address a few bits of code review feedback that came in after landing

ea0ccc7ee3 Plumb import assertions through SourceTextModuleDescriptor's ModuleRequestMap
This change plumbs import assertions from SourceTextModuleDescriptor's
ModuleRequestMap into SourceTextModuleInfo via a new ModuleRequest
type, where previously there had been only the specifier.

SourceTextModuleDescriptor::module_map now deduplicates module requests
using the specifier and the import assertions.  Continuing to use the
specifier alone would cause a loss of information in the event that
a module imports from the same specifier multiple times using different
sets of assertions.  Failing to deduplicate at all would result in
multiple requests for statements like `import {a,b,c} from "foo.js"`,
which would be a potential performance issue.  See design doc at
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1yuXgNHSbTAPubT1Mg0JXp5uTrfirkvO1g5cHHCe-LmY
for more detail on this decision.

v8::internal::ModuleRequest holds the assertions as an array of the form
[key1, value1, position1, key2, value2, assertion2, ...].  However the
parser still needs to use a map, since duplicate assertion keys need to
be detected at parse time.  A follow-up  change will ensure that
assertions are sorted using a proper lexicographic sort.

bd16dc8f9d Implement parsing of AssertEntries in import assertion clause
Parse the AssertEntries in an import assertion clause, storing them in
a map.  Plumb them through the parser to the appropriate
SourceTextModuleDescriptor methods.

The next change will plumb them into the SourceTextModuleDescriptor's
ModuleRequestMap and through to SourceTextModuleInfo::New.

1aa7e19720 Implement parsing of empty import assertion clause
This is the first change in the process of implementing import
assertions per https://tc39.es/proposal-import-assertions/.

This CR adds support for the empty form of the AssertClause.

Also added is a --harmony-import-assertions flag to enable/disable
import assertions.  For now, the feature is off by default.

The next change will enable the parser to handle a non-empty list
of AssertEntries.

d8c9ae5295 [compiler] Fix double error reporting for parser errors
Remove error reporting from parsing::Parse*, since in most cases we
didn't actually want them (clear errors afterward), and there was an
issue where Compiler::Compile would try to report errors already
reported in ParseAny, which ended up triggering unreachable code.

As a drive-by, move some one-off parse exception handling in
test-parsing into a CHECKED_PARSE_PROGRAM macro which replaces all the
"necessarily positive" calls to parsing::ParseProgram.

65d738d432 [parser] Move Compiler::Analyze into Parser
Move rewriting, scope analysis, and internalization, to be unconditional
operations done after parsing rather than a separate compile phase. This
removes some of the complexity about rememberering when to call
Compiler::Analyze, and makes these paths a bit more uniform.

Also, forbid allocating any more AST strings after AstValueFactory
internalization, by nulling out the Zone. Add an InternalizePartial
method which doesn't null out the zone for those cases where we do want
to be able to allocate after internalizing (e.g. internalization before
scope analysis).

6458a5296b [compile] Add an UnoptimizedCompileState class
Move the persistent compilation state and Isolate inputs (such as the
allocator, shared AST constants, hash seed, logger, etc.) which survives
across both parse and compile, out of ParseInfo and into a new
UnoptimizedCompileState class. Also add UnoptimizedCompilePerThreadState
for per-thread state such as stack limit and RCS.

In particular, this new state survives the ParseInfo being destructed,
which means it is available after off-thread finalization. This allows a
followup to access the PendingCompilationErrorHandler after finalization
and report errors on merge.

b097a8e5de [api] Create v8::String::NewFromLiteral that returns Local<String>
String::NewFromLiteral is a templated function that takes a char[N]
argument that can be used as an alternative to String::NewFromUtf8 and
returns a Local<String> rather than a MaybeLocal<String> reducing the
number of ToLocalChecked() or other checks.

Since the string length is known at compile time, it can statically
assert that the length is less than String::kMaxLength, which means that
it can never fail at runtime.

This also converts all found uses of NewFromUtf8 taking a string literal
or a variable initialized from a string literal to use the new API. In
some cases the types of stored string literals are changed from const
char* to const char[] to ensure the size is retained.

This API does introduce a small difference compared to NewFromUtf8. For
a case like "abc\0def", NewFromUtf8 (using length -1 to infer length)
would treat this as a 3 character string, whereas the new API will treat
it as a 7 character string.

As a drive-by fix, this also fixes all redundant uses of
v8::NewStringType::kNormal when passed to any of the String::New*
functions.

7a20b6b9d3 [offthread] Add an OffThreadIsolate
The Factory/OffThreadFactory allows us to cleanly separate object
construction behaviour between main-thread and off-thread in a
syntactically consistent way (so that methods templated on the factory
type can be made to work on both).

However, there are cases where we also have to access the Isolate, for
handle creation or exception throwing. So far we have been pushing more
and more "customization points" into the factories to allow these
factory-templated methods to dispatch on this isolate behaviour via
these factory methods. Unfortunately, this is an increasing layering
violation between Factory and Isolate, particularly around exception
handling.

Now, we introduce an OffThreadIsolate, analogous to Isolate in the same
way as OffThreadFactory is analogous to Factory. All methods which were
templated on Factory are now templated on Isolate, and methods which
used to take an Isolate, and which were recently changed to take a
templated Factory, are changed/reverted to take a templated Isolate.
OffThreadFactory gets an isolate() method to match Factory's.

Notably, FactoryHandle is changed to "HandleFor", where the template
argument can be either of the Isolate type or the Factory type (allowing
us to dispatch on both depending on what is available).

bcbb553db0 [offthread] Add OffThreadFactory support to AST strings
Add support for internalizing an AstValueFactory using the off-thread
factory. Includes adding ConsString support to OffThreadFactory.

This introduces a Handle union wrapper, which is used in locations that
can store a Handle or an OffThreadHandle. This is used in this patch for
the internalized "string" field of AST strings, and will be able to be
used for other similar fields in other classes (e.g. the ScopeInfo
handle in Scope, object boilerplate descriptor handles, the inferred
name handle on FunctionLiterals, etc.). It has a Factory-templated
getter which returns the appropriate handle for the factory, and a
debug-only tag to make sure the right getter is used at runtime. This
union wrapper currently decomposes implicitly to a Handle if the getter
is not called, to minimise code changes, but this implicit conversion
will likely be removed for clarity.

7fcef44241 [parser] Remove script handle from ParseInfo
Remove the explicit script handle from ParseInfo, and make it either
a Handle that is passed around where needed, or one inferred from the
SharedFunctionInfo.

This will be useful for compilation finalization using the off-thread
factory, which will not generate real Handles since it has no access
to the Isolate.

14a79f6335 [parser]: reset expression scope stack to nullptr when parsing class member initializer
When "await" is referenced in a part of an async arrow function head, we will walk up the active ambiguous expression stack and mark the ambiguous arrow head scope. However the class member initializer is always non-ambiguous so we should reset the stack and stop walking up.

88f8d801c6 [cctest] Check compilation result in v8_compile
This CL introduces a CHECK in v8_compile that compilation succeedes.
Previously, a failed compilation would lead to undefined behavior or
a crash in CompileRun, because it would call Script::Run on a nullptr.
This CL introduced v8_try_compile that returns a MaybeLocal and supports
test-cases that want to ensure that a compilation fails.

7fa12e2a4f [class] fix undefined private name access in computed property keys
This patch implements https://github.com/tc39/proposal-class-fields/pull/269
and makes sure we always throw TypeError when there is invalid private
name access in computed property keys.

Before this patch, private name variables of private fields and methods
are initialized together with computed property keys in the order they
are declared. Accessing undefined private names in the computed property
keys thus fail silently.

After this patch, we initialize the private name variables of private
fields before we initialize the computed property keys, so that invalid
access to private fields in the computed keys can be checked in the IC.
We now also initialize the brand early, so that invalid access to private
methods or accessors in the computed keys throw TypeError during brand
checks - and since these accesses are guarded by brand checks, we can
create the private methods and accessors after the class is
defined, and merge the home object setting with the creation
of the closures.

fe6839ba6d [class] parse static private methods and accessors
This patch uses a bit in the Variable bit fields to distinguish
static private names from instance private names, so that we
can check the conflicts of private accessors that are complementary
but with different staticness in the parser, and use this
information later when generating code for checking static brands
for private method access.

f6057ff1e3 [scopes] Push sloppy eval check through eval scopes
Sloppy eval extends the outer declaration scope's context. This is also
true for sloppy eval inside of other sloppy evals -- the outer declaration
scope's context is extended rather than the outer sloppy eval's
declaration scope. However, we consider eval scopes to also be declaration
scopes, for the purposes of strict eval and caching lookup variables. So,
we need to make sure that we skip through sloppy eval scopes when marking
a scope as calls_sloppy_eval.

In fact, we implement this rather as never marking sloppy eval scopes as
calls_sloppy_eval, under the assumption that the parent scope will already
have been marked calls_sloppy_eval by the outer eval.

As a drive-by, fix a TODO to move this logic from calls_sloppy_eval() to
RecordEvalCall(), rename the variable to something more meaningful, and
make Snapshotting to use a new calls_eval bit on Scope.
