d2c443b774 Extract hardcoded error strings into a single place and replace them with enum.
I'd like to propagate bailout reason to cpu profiler.
So I need to save it into heap object SharedFunctionInfo.
But:
1) all bailout reason strings spread across all the sources.
2) they are native strings and if I convert them into String then I may have a performance issue.
3) one byte is enough for 184 bailout reasons. Otherwise we need 8 bytes for the pointer.

Also I think it would be nice to have error strings collected in one place.
In that case we will get additional benefits:

It allows us to keep this set of messages under control.
It gives us a chance to internationalize them.
It slightly reduces the binary footprint.

From the other hand the developers have to add new strings into that enum.

9f05d61a1d Split HPhase for Lithium and Hydrogen using common CompilationPhase base.
Add new base class CompilationPhase, which is the base for both HPhase, LPhase and LAllocatorPhase. HPhase is now for Hydrogen passes only, LPhase is for Lithium passes and LAllocatorPhase is for LAllocator phases.

47608c900a Allow more virtual registers to be encoded in LUnallocated.
This is a preparation which allows us to bump the virtual register width
from 15 to 18 bit without sacrificing width for other fields inside an
unallocated lithium operand.

07a2a9cd19 Various improvements regarding the way we print code code comments.
* All Lithium instructions have an associated Hydrogen instruction now,
  simplifying things.

* Consistently print <Lithium instruction number,Hydrogen value id> prefixes.

* Do not print uninteresting Lithium instructions like empty gaps, jumps to the
  next instruction, etc.

* Removed special handling of HChange-like instructions, it is totally unclear
  why they had this special treatment. If we really want to print more
  information about Lithium instructions, we should do it in a totally way,
  anyway (e.g. by unifying things with the generation of hydrogen*.cfg files).

* Made deferred code and the jump table stand out a little bit more.

* Print info about special blocks like loop headers and OSR entries.

fb6776e84a Made Isolate a mandatory parameter for everything Handle-related.
Unified parameter order of CreateHandle with the rest of v8 on the way. A few
Isolate::Current()s had to be introduced, which is not nice, and not every place
will win a beauty contest, but we can clean this up later easily in smaller steps.

be8e8f7528 Improve the JitCodeEventHandler API to add support for line position information.
This includes:

* adding the CODE_ADD_LINE_POS_INFO, CODE_START_LINE_INFO_RECORDING, CODE_END_LINE_INFO_RECORDING event and the corresponding functionality.
 * adding the JITCodeLineInfo struct to record the code line info. I added this definition because Danno mentioned that "we'd like to cleanup and decouple the external debugging functionality"
 * some other small changes.

5aafde9285 Print deoptimization index when printing lithium environment.
Output of --trace-deopt --code-comments does not always allow to reliably match deoptimization to the lithium instruction (and it is actually never accurate on x64 due to one level of indirection). This change allows to reliably figure out which instruction deoptimized just by looking up bailout id in the hydrogen.cfg.

* Adding support for saving callee-clobbered double registers in Crankshaft code.
* Adding a new "HTrapAllocationMemento" hydrogen instruction to handle AllocationSiteInfo data in crankshafted stubs.
* Adding a new "HAllocate" hydrogen instruction that can allocate raw memory from the GC in crankshafted code.
* Support for manipulation of the hole in HChange instructions for Crankshafted stubs.
* Utility routines to manually build loops and if statements containing hydrogen code.

e6224d275f Make embedded maps in optimized code weak.
Each map has a weak array of dependent codes, where the map tracks all the optimized codes that embed it.
Old space GC either clears the dead dependent codes from the array if the corresponding map is alive or deoptimizes the live dependent codes if the map is dead.

f6f4798189 Print reason for disabling optimization. Kill --trace-bailout flag.
The reason for disabling optimization of a given function is carried around in
CompilationInfo. The new mechanism is general enough that --trace-opt now
subsumes everything --trace-bailout could print, so we nuked the latter flag.

b5da7279b1 Introduced TypeFeedbackId and BailoutId types.
This is a refactoring-only CL which improves the typing of IDs associated with
AST nodes. The interesting parts are in utils.h and ast.h, the rest of the CL
basically follows mechanically.

c1ee1b457f Break Crankshaft into phases.
Crankshaft now runs by calling CreateGraph on the HGraphBuilder, then
calling Optimize and Codegen on the HGraph.

6125718f37 Remove TLS access for current Zone.

6c392ffa79 Valgrind cleanliness, part 2: Delete lithium operand caches on exit.
This fixes 5 leaks, returning 1.6kB of lost memory.

Shocking news: I've actually introduced a 2nd-order macro for myself. I guess
I've been assimilated... ;-)

This CL depends on CL 9447052 (adding CallOnce and LazyInstance).
It is based on a patch sent by Digit.

With this patch applied, we have only one static initializer left (in atomicops_internals_x86_gcc.cc). This static initializer populates a structure used by x86 atomic operations. It seems that we can hardly remove it. If possible, it will be removed in a next CL. 

This CL also modifies the presubmit script to check the number of static initializers.

1604871e80 Get rid of a useless helper method in the register allocator.
Reading the virtual register from a LOperand is only needed used for
unallocated LOperands (LUnallocated). There is no need for having a
method for that on LOperand.

0b3ce1dd9e Remove unnecessary IGNORE policy from Lithium operands.
1. This policy was only used for unused spill operands. I'm assigning
an INVALID LOperand to those instead. As a result, we only need
3 bits to encode the policy and have one more available for virtual
registers.

2. Furthermore, corrected the calculation of the maximal number of virtual
registers and changed the upper limit for the size of the Hydrogen IR
accordingly.

3. Doubled the maximal number of deoptimization entries to 8K.

f48c9f6557 Basic support for tracking smi-only arrays on ia32.
Activated by the flag --smi-only-arrays

Currently not crankshaft support, using flag on non-ia32 platforms will lead to write barrier misses and crashes.

9f432cd159 Dispatch on ElementsKind rather than ExternalArrayType when generating ICs and Crankshaft code for many element operations. This is preparation to be able to share more code in the various element accessor implementations.
Merge logic to maintain external array and fast element stub caches.
