5ef27c25e9 Update webkit test expectations for sloppy functions in case
A recent ES2015 semantics web compatibility fix changed a WebKit
test from a syntax error to a known failure without a syntax
error. This confused the fuzzer infrastructure. This patch updates
the test expectations to the expected output, based on what the
new semantics provide.

95145fa826 Ship ES2015 sloppy-mode const semantics
This patch moves the semantics of 'const' in sloppy mode to match those
in strict mode, that is, const makes lexical (let-like) bindings, must
have an initializer, and does not create properties of the global object.

fcff8588a5 Ship ES2015 sloppy-mode function hoisting, let, class
This patch doesn't ship all features of ES2015 variable/scoping
changes, notably omitting the removal of legacy const. I think
function hoisting, let and class in sloppy mode can stand to
themselves as a package, and the legacy const change is much
riskier and more likely to be reverted, so my intention is to
pursue those as a separate, follow-on patch.

424ef009a5 Reland of Add web compat workarounds for ES2015 RegExp semantics (patchset #3 id:40001 of https://codereview.chromium.org/1543723002/ )
Unexpectedly, websites depend on doing feature testing with
RegExp.prototype.sticky and browser testing with RegExp.prototype.toString().
ES2015 newly throws exceptions for both of these. In order to enable shipping
new ES2015 semantics, this patch puts in narrow workarounds for those two
cases, keeping their old behavior. UseCounters are added for how often
those particular cases come up, so we can see if it can be deprecated.

This reland replaces problematic legacy const usage with var, to
avoid issues with nosnap builds.

5bd4832492 [es6] Correct Function.prototype.apply, Reflect.construct and Reflect.apply.
Introduce a new Apply builtin that forms a correct and optimizable
foundation for the Function.prototype.apply, Reflect.construct and
Reflect.apply builtins (which properly does the PrepareForTailCall
as required by the ES2015 spec).

The new Apply builtin avoids going to the runtime if it is safe to
just access the backing store elements of the argArray, i.e. if you
pass a JSArray with no holes, or an unmapped, unmodified sloppy or
strict arguments object.

a5380fe9ed JSON.parse: properly deal with reviver result
When the reviver returns undefined, the property in question must be deleted
even for arrays. So far this only happened for non-array objects.

Also change the property enumeration to be spec-conformant, which is observable when the reviver modifies its "this" object directly. There are a few further issues that need to be addressed in a separate CL.

2732a6ad44 [es6] Correct parsing of regular expression literal flags.
ES6 section 12.2.8.1 states that flags for regular expression literals
must be checked during parsing and invalid flags are early errors. This
change adapts the Scanner and (Pre)Parser to act according to the spec.

This is also a prerequisite to unify the handling of literal creation
(for Objects, Arrays, Regexps, and at some point Classes).

Now run-tests.py understands "suite/foo/bar" with forward slashes for

Previously, file-based suites like mjsunit also accepted "mjsunit/foo\bar";
that behavior is sacrificed here in favor of unification. For the cctest

5d875a57fa Correctify instanceof and make it optimizable.
The previous hack with HInstanceOfKnownGlobal was not only slower,
but also very brittle and required a lot of weird hacks to support it. And
what's even more important it wasn't even correct (because a map check
on the lhs is never enough for instanceof).

The new implementation provides a sane runtime implementation
for InstanceOf plus a fast case in the InstanceOfStub, combined with
a proper specialization in the case of a known global in CrankShaft,
which does only the prototype chain walk (coupled with a code
dependency on the known global).

As a drive-by-fix: Also fix the incorrect Object.prototype.isPrototypeOf
implementation.

d03191beb1 Use a new lexical context for sloppy-mode eval
In ES6, direct eval() in sloppy mode uses the enclosing function-level
("var") scope for var-style bindings and a new lexical scope for lexical
bindings like let and class. This patch implements that feature by making
lexical bindings that are directly within an EVAL_SCOPE be on the local
scope rather than the enclosing one.

d4a314f9dc [es6] Object.getPrototypeOf should work with values
This reverts commit 992751d0dc.

The final spec for Object.getPrototypeOf calls ToObject on the
parameter, which means that it should only throw for null and
undefined. For other non object values the prototype of the wrapper
should be used.

Difference from last time: Updated .status and will disable Blink
side tests as needed.

38a719f965 Switch full-codegen from StackHandlers to handler table.
This switches full-codegen to no longer push and pop StackHandler
markers onto the operand stack, but relies on a range-based handler
table instead. We only use StackHandlers in JSEntryStubs to mark the
transition from C to JS code.

Note that this makes deoptimization and OSR from within any try-block
work out of the box, makes the non-exception paths faster and should
overall be neutral on the memory footprint (pros).

On the other hand it makes the exception paths slower and actually
throwing and exception more expensive (cons).

b004b1d821 Move object literal checking into checker classes
This removes the duplicate property check from object literals.

Instead we repurpose the ObjectLiteralChecker into two cases, implemented
by two subclasses to ObjectLiteralCheckerBase called ObjectLiteralChecker
and ClassLiteralChecker.

The object literal checker now only checks for duplicate __proto__ fields in
object literals.

The class literal checker checks for duplicate constructors, non constructor
fields named constructor as well as static properties named prototype.

c72c28dd00 Disable webkit/array-iterate-backwards for debug builds.
(Debug builds have --enable-slow-asserts, and with slow asserts each
assignment to the array in the prepare function will trigger a check
over the entire array. This turns it into n^2 work, for reasonably
large n.)

096e1972cd Work-around to make webkit test suite work with optdebug==2.
The test driver doesn't know at the moment if optdebug 1 or 2 has been used (the first is used on the bots, the second
locally in quickcheck). It can't know therefore if slow
asserts can be enabled or not. Trying to enable them leads
to a warning if they weren't compiled, which causes webkit
1:1 text comparison to fail.

6ac4de87a8 harmony-scoping: make assignment to 'const' a late error.
Per TC39 Nov 2014 decision.

This patch also changes behavior for "legacy const": assignments to sloppy const in strict mode is now also a type error. This fixes v8:2243 and also brings us in compliance with other engines re assignment to function names (see updated webkit test), but might have bigger implications.
That change can easily be reverted by changing Variable::IsSignallingAssignmentToConst.
