f16f0bccad [stack-trace] Change column number for wasm frames to module offset
The CL https://crrev.com/c/1646846 changed column numbers for Wasm
frames in Error.stack traces. Instead of using the offset relative to
the beginning of the function, the absolute offset inside the module
is displayed as hex.

This CL propagates that change to the StackTrace C++ API, so
StackFrame::GetColumn() also returns the absolute offset. Note that the
StackFrame API historically uses "0" to signal "no information", so the
line and column numbers for Wasm frames are also adjusted to 1-based,
even though they signify function index and absolute offset
into the module.

This CL does not touch Script::PositionInfo.column. That field still
contains the offset relative to the function start.

7b48dd55e1 [builtins] Make ContinueToBuiltinHelper skip off-heap builtin trampolines
This changes Generate_ContinueToBuiltinHelper to generate code to load
the builtin address directly from the builtins table rather than going
via the executable code in the trampoline's code object.

The set up for Generate_ContinueToBuiltinHelper is changed so that the
builtin index is stored on the stack in place of the builtin Code
object which is no longer needed.

4e3b1874dd [execution] Only take a single lock while handling interrupts
StackGuard::HandleInterrupts used to take a lock for testing and
clearing each individual interrupt bit. This CL changes that to a
single read up front.

Slight behavioral changes:

1. A TERMINATE_EXECUTION interrupt is now handled first; we
immediately exit and preserve all other interrupts (in case V8 is
later resumed).
2. Since interrupts are read once, it is no longer possible to request
an interrupt *within* HandleInterrupts that will later be processed
within the same HandleInterrupts call.
3. Stack limits are reset immediately after reading the interrupt
bits, and prior to actually processing the interrupts.

0ebc2b6d76 [ptr-compr][cleanup] Remove ROOT_PARAM, ROOT_VALUE and friends
... in favor of Isolate*. It seems that it's better to be uniform in
using Isolate* or isolate root value, so if we decide to pass isolate
root value instead of Isolate* it should better be done everywhere and
it will be a separate CL anyway.

Regarding the "optionality" of the isolate parameter - C++ compilers
are smart enough to optimize it away during inlining.

beaf1073bd [wasm] use standard WebAssembly stack trace format
Currently, in wasm-function stack traces, v8 displays the decimal offset
from the start of the function. However, the WebAssembly WebAPI
specification says that it should be a hex offset into the module.

This change makes the stack trace display with hex module offsets, as
well as fixing all the unit tests that depended on the old behaviour.

d766d6d5a3 [error] Use prepareStackTrace from error's realm
An error object's 'stack' property is lazily formatted once the
property is first read. It is thus possible that lazy formatting
happens in a different realm than where the error object was
constructed.

In this case, we should use the origin-realm's prepareStackTrace
function to format the stack trace.

This CL implements that behavior by fetching prepareStackTrace from
the given error object's context's error function.

0ea2a34bc2 [stack-trace] Add the last remaining fields to StackFrameInfo
This CL adds the last fields needed to stringify all stack frames from
StackFrameInfo objects instead of accessing the FrameArray directly.

Drive-by-change: The factory method that creates StackFrameInfo is
refactored to:
  1. collect all values for the fields
  2. allocate a StackFrameInfo
  3. set all the values on the allocated info object.

This fixes undefined evaluation order bugs that GCMole failed to spot,
as well as make one factory method unnecessary.

Note: More precise types on the fields that are currently "Object"
will happen in a follow up CL.

3fcbfdaa92 [stack-trace] Add AppendInt to IncrementalStringBuilder for numbers
This CL changes the way stack trace serialization appends numbers.
Instead of converting plain int to Handle<String>, they are converted
to char*. The reason is that appending a Handle<String> causes the
IncrementalStringBuilder to shrink the current part and create two
ConsString instances to concatenate the accumulator, the current part and
the passed in Handle<String>.

This CL improves stack trace serialization micro benchmarks by ~12%.

    Original Commit Message:

        This CL was generated by an automatic clang AST rewriter using this
        matcher expression:

          callExpr(
            callee(
              cxxMethodDecl(
                hasName("operator->"),
                ofClass(isSameOrDerivedFrom("v8::internal::Object"))
              )
            ),
            argumentCountIs(1)
          )

        The "->" at the expression location was then rewritten to ".".

8e71afad97 [cleanup] Remove safepoint table register support.
This removes dead and obsolete support for batch-saved register from the
safepoint table. We no longer spill the entire register window (either
double or general-purpose) from optimized code. All spills happen as
part of the normal spill-slots on the stack by now.

ae348e30ed [ptr-compr] Introduce StrongTaggedValue and TaggedValue
... which represent potentially compressed Object and MaybeObject
values respectively. They provide methods for checking the smi/weak
tags which don't require decompression and conversion to Smi/HeapObject
combined with tag checks.

The new classes should help to write a bit more efficient runtime (C++)
code for the cases when we don't need the full decompressed value
immediately.

Drive-by-fix: fix ptr-compr build after Object::operator->() removal.

2b7ab6ad3e [stack-trace] Add additional fields to StackFrameInfo
This CL adds all fields to StackFrameInfo that are necessary to
stringify a stack trace frame. This is another step towards
disentangling symbolizing and serializing:

  - Symbolization collects all the necessary strings, numbers and
    flags for a stack trace frame.
  - Serialization turns the symbolized stack trace frame into a
    string.

Drive-by: Moves the lazy initialization of StackFrameInfo into the
private getter.

302a49c6b3 [logging] Systematically emit CodeCreateEvents for builtins
Introduce a single point to emit CodeCreateEvents for all builtins in
Isolate::Init. At this location, we cover both the case of builtin generation
(e.g. in mksnapshot) and deserialized builtins (in standard builds),
whereas previously we only emitted events post-builtin-generation.

In order to preserve behavior for bytecode handler events, pack the bytecode
and operand scale into our existing builtin metadata table.

Drive-by: Update way-out-of-date comment in the static initializer
check.

878ccb33bd [cleanup] Avoid {Object::operator->}
This CL was generated by an automatic clang AST rewriter using this
matcher expression:

  callExpr(
    callee(
      cxxMethodDecl(
        hasName("operator->"),
        ofClass(isSameOrDerivedFrom("v8::internal::Object"))
      )
    ),
    argumentCountIs(1)
  )

The "->" at the expression location was then rewritten to ".".
