6ee834532d [heap-profiler] Allow embedder to specify edge names
This patch adds a variant of EmbedderGraph::AddEdge() which
allows the embedder to specify the name of an edge. The edges
added without name are element edges with auto-incremented indexes
while the edges added with names will be internal edges with
the specified names for more meaningful output in the heap
snapshot.

555c811c0d [api] Switch from SetBuildEmbedderGraphCallback to AddBuildEmbedderGraphCallback
`SetBuildEmbedderGraphCallback`, unlike `SetWrapperClassInfoProvider`,
assumes a monolithic embedder that can provide all necessary information.
That is not the case for e.g. Node.js, which can e.g. provide multiple Node.js
instances per V8 Isolate, as well as native addons that may allocate resources
on their own.

ecae80cdb3 [cpu-profiler] Add a new profiling mode with a more detailed call tree.
The current profiling mode (called kLeafNodeLineNumbers in this CL)
produces a tree, with each node representing a stack frame that is seen
in one or more samples taken during profiling. These nodes refer to a
particular function in a stack trace, but not to a particular line or
callsite within that function.

This CL adds a new more (called kCallerLineNumbers) which produces a
different profile tree, where each stack trace seen during profiling,
including the line number, has a unique path in the tree.

The profile tree was previously keyed on CodeEntry*. Now it is keyed on
the pair of CodeEntry* and line_number, meaning it has distinct nodes
for those combinations which exist, and each distinct stack trace that
was sampled is represented in the tree.

For optimized code where we have inline frames, there are no line
numbers for the inline frames in the stack trace, causing duplicate
branches in the tree with kNoLineNumberInfo as the reported line number.
This will be addressed in follow-ups.

23a593b9d8 [api] Deprecate HeapProfiler::SetWrapperClassInfoProvider.
The embedders should use the EmbedderGraph API. The similar structure
can be created with the following steps:
1) Create a root node for each retainer info group.
2) Iterate all handles using Isolate::VisitHandlesWithClassIds.
3) Add an edge from the retainer info node to the v8 wrapper node.
4) Add an edge from the v8 wrapper node to the retainer info node.

See how HeapSnapshotRetainedObjectInfo is converted to the new API.

252e8a1c2d [heap-profiler] Merge embedder nodes and V8 wrapper nodes.
Each DOM node has the corresponding V8 wrapper object. This leads to
apparent duplication in the heap snapshot and may confuse the users.

This patch allows the embedder to specify V8 wrapper for each embedder
node. In the heap snapshot the wrapper node will be merged into the
embedder node. The resulting node will have the same properties as
the embedder node. If the wrapper node name has a tag, then the tag
is also added to the merged node.

239dd8124b New API for capturing embedder object graph in heap snapshot.
That patch introduces EmbedderGraph interface that embedders can use to
represent C++ objects that retain or are retained by V8 JS objects.

The heap snapshot generator adds nodes and edges of the EmbedderGraph to
the heap snapshot, allowing arbitrarily complex retaining paths that
cross V8/Embedder boundary.

The new functionality is enabled only if the embedder sets the
BuildEmbedderGraph callback.

4b575dfcef [profiler] Tracing-based CPU profiler.
A new V8 API object v8::TracingCpuProfiler is introduced.
Client can create it on an isolate to enable JS CPU profiles collected
during tracing session.

Once the v8.cpu_profile2 tracing category is enabled the profiler emits

e5a9947811 [profiler] Implement POC Sampling Heap Profiler
This implements a proof-of-concept sampling based heap profiler inspired by
tcmalloc's heap profiler [1] and Go's mprof/memprofile [2].

The basic idea is the sample allocations using a randomized Poisson process. At
any point in time we can cheaply request the set of live sample objects that
should be a representative sample of heap. Samples include stack-traces from the
allocation sites, making this an effective tool for memory leak debugging.

Unlike AllocationTracking, this is intended to be cheap and usable online in
production.

The proof-of-concept is only sampling new-space allocations at this point.
Support for sampling paged space and native allocations is anticipated in the
future.

1f7a7b32d7 Fix C++ violation.
gcc rejects the following snippet, clang rejects it in -std=c++11 mode:
  namespace A { template<class T> class C {}; }
  namespace B { template class A::C<int>; }

Indeed, the C++ standard says in 14.7.2p2 "An explicit instantiation shall
appear in an enclosing namespace of its template", so cl.exe is incorrect to
allow this.

Just move the instantiation out of the v8 namespace to fix. No intended
behavior change. Fixes building with clang-cl on Windows.

f13d04d28c Return timestamp of the last recorded interval to the caller of HeapProfiler::GetHeapStats
Before this patch the embedder could assign timestamp to the last interval after calling GetHeapStats. This would be slightly different from the timstamps assigned by v8 internally and written into heap snapshot. This patch allow to avoid this small discrepancy by returning timestamp along with last heap stats update.

d56a21ebff The idea behind of this solution is to use the existing "relocation info" instead of consumption the CodeLinePosition events emitted by the V8 compilers.
During generation code and relocation info are generated simultaneously.
When code generation is done you each code object has associated "relocation info".
Relocation information lets V8 to mark interesting places in the generated code: the pointers that might need to be relocated (after garbage collection),
correspondences between the machine program counter and source locations for stack walking.

This patch:
1. Add more source positions info in reloc info to make it suitable for source level mapping.
The amount of data should not be increased dramatically because (1) V8 already marks interesting places in the generated code and
(2) V8 does not write redundant information (it writes a pair (pc_offset, pos) only if pos is changed and skips other).
I measured it on Octane benchmark - for unoptimized code the number of source positions may achieve 2x ('lin_solve' from NavierStokes benchmark).

2. When a sample happens, CPU profiler finds a code object by pc, then use its reloc info to match the sample to a source line.
If a source line is found that hit counter is increased by one for this line.

3. Add a new public V8 API to get the hit source lines by CDT CPU profiler.
Note that it's expected a minor patch in Blink to pack the source level info in JSON to be shown.

4.Add a test that checks how the samples are distributed through source lines.
It tests two cases: (1) relocation info created during code generation and (2) relocation info associated with precompiled function's version.

f6b7ec4da0 HeapProfiler: very slow ~4min "take snapshot time" for 80MB gmail heap.
The reason of that is a number of cons strings in the app.
The app constructs a json string and as a result v8 heap has
a very long chain of cons strings.

Profiler counts all these strings as plain String objects and
assign the content of the strings as node names.

It required O(n^2) time and O(n^2) memory.

Solution: I introduced two new types, kConsString and kSliced string.
They do not use the content of the string for names. So the problem disappeared.

The heap profiler usability problem will be solved on Blink side.

bbd26abedb Functions may not be optimized and we would like to know in cpu profiler what was the reason.
Current v8 implementation may disable optimization for a particular function or block it with help of dont_optimize flag.
The patch propagates the reason of that to the SharedFunctionInfo where cpu profiler can get it.

SharedFunctionInfo is a heap object so I extracted 8 bits from OptsCount for handling bailout reason code.
