fead0d0600 Cleanup Semaphore class. 
Drop the previous Semaphore class from platform files.

Add new Semaphore class using the new TimeDelta class for
the WaitFor() operation. Consistently assert correct behaviour
for the different implementations.

Improve test coverage of the Semaphore class.

e76482f2da Cleanup Mutex and related classes. 
Drop the previous Mutex and ScopedLock classes from platform files.

Add new Mutex, RecursiveMutex and LockGuard classes, which are
designed after their C++11 counterparts, so that at some point
we can simply drop our custom code and switch to the C++11
classes. We distinguish regular and recursive mutexes, as the
latter don't work well with condition variables, which will be
introduced by a followup CL.

682a0d65c6 Deprecate v8::V8::Pause/ResumeProfiler 
The methods were added to the public API in r1185 when Chrome DevTools were using the same output as produced for tick processor when --prof option is specified.

I don't see any existing clients of these methods and since they add a noticeable complexity to the profiler code I'd like to remove them.

53310ac152 Added a version of the v8::HandleScope constructor with an Isolate and use that consistently. 
I tried to limit the use of v8::Isolate::GetCurrent() and v8::internal::Isolate::Current() as much as possible, but sometimes this would have involved restructuring tests quite a bit, which is better left for a separate CL.

f2bcc90c8c Unbreak readline support. 
Things are still far from being nice, the editor registration/handling in d8 is
still embarrassing. Nevertheless things work with readline support again. Fixed
a missing Locker on the way.

fab9a39d9d Make the Isolate parameter mandatory in Locker and Unlocker classes. 
Note that leaving out the Isolate parameter previously had a very special
meaning, namely "use the *default* Isolate", i.e. the one magically created at
program initialization time. All other API entries use the meaning "current
Isolate", which is different in a multi-threaded setting and confusing.

Temporarily disabled deprecations until Chrome is ready.

14ed983753 Enable readline on d8 while building a shared lib. 
This patch enables readline on d8 except for completion support.
It sould be useful enough for history and line editing.

This is related to V8's issue 1781 (http://code.google.com/p/v8/issues/detail?id=1781), not chromium's.

7e6dd6db1e Drastically reduce the number of created strings in d8, 2nd attempt. 
This also reduces the number of TLS accesses, so it is a double-win. We have
230k less TLS accesses while running Octane now, so we are down to 23% now
compared to the start of these TLS-related CLs.

To get things right in the presence of multiple Isolates, we have to thread the
correct Isolate through several layers. This threading wasn't that bad after
all, it keeps one honest about the real depdencies. The only ugly thing is that
in ExternalArrayWeakCallback we have to conjure up the current Isolate from the
TLS, but this is a know API deficiency.

Introduced a tiny helper function for throwing on the way.

f6017d36f2 Clean up d8 ArrayBuffer implementation and fix bug in readbuffer: 
- Separate CreateExternalArrayBuffer function.
- Properly create buffers for arrays constructed with size argument only.
- Finalization of data array is tied to buffer object exclusively.
- Get rid of hidden buffer reference in array objects and size header in data.
- Use 'new' instead of 'malloc' in readbuffer.
- Test cases for additional array and buffer properties.

2063e14c15 Release memory of semaphores and thread pointers by using 'delete' instead of SmartPointer.

SmartPointer expects an input allocated using new[] and deallocates it using delete[].
So using SmartPointer for deleting T* here is incorrect. Fix it now.
