9df5ef70ff Add an v8::ArrayBuffer::WasDetached method to the C++ API
V8's C++ API does not give a way to tell whether an ArrayBuffer has
been detached from the `v8::ArrayBuffer` class. In fact, as far as can
be told from the C++ API without running JS code, detached
ArrayBuffers behave the same as zero-sized ArrayBuffers and there is
no way to observe the difference. However, this difference can be
observed in JS because constructing a TypedArray from a detached
ArrayBuffer will throw.

This change adds a `WasDetached` method to the `v8::ArrayBuffer` class
to give embedders access to this information without having to run JS
code.

cfc4a2d16e Reland^2 "[turbofan] Optimize rab/gsab-backed TypedArrays and DataViews"
This reverts commit 57db447bf2.

This reland adds handling for Oddballs in Int64Add and Int64Sub in the
SLVerifier and updates the Verifier to check that Int32Constant and
Int64Constant are correctly typed with Type::Machine().

e7f6d34cfe [ic] Remove SameValue optimisation for constant fields
We would previously try to preserve field constness if field assignment
was assigning the same value. It's unexpected that real-life code would
be assigning the same value multiple times to an intentionally constant
field, so this was additional bookkeeping with unclear value.

Replace this with not doing it, and considering any write to a constant
field to convert it to mutable. In particular, this means that stores to
existing constant fields in TurboFan become unconditional deopts, rather
than emitting additional code to check whether the value is the same.

Locally, this deopt doesn't fire on our peak-performance benchmarks.

5d0b8b0ff1 [debugger] Throw exception if 'var x' fails in debug eval in module
This is an extension to the fix landed in https://crrev.com/c/3295348.

We should also throw the exception when we are paused in a module.
This is a constellation that can only happen with debug-evaluate as
'eval's in modules are always indirect, whereas debug-evaluate uses
direct, sloppy eval.

34d6823f8b [heap] Rename safepoint scopes
This CL simplifies safepoint scopes, there are now three kinds of
safepoint scopes:

1) IsolateSafepointScope - performs an isolate local safepoint
2) GlobalSafepointScope - a global safepoint across multiple isolates
3) SafepointScope - chooses based on condition between local/global

This CL is not supposed to change current safepointing behavior in
any way. The CL renames the current SafepointScope to
IsolateSafepointScope and changes GlobalSafepointScope to always
perform a global safepoint. It then also introduces the new
SafepointScope and makes use of it for snapshotting and in heap.cc.

7eb43bf494 [turbofan] Decompose CheckBigInt64 and make it precise
This CL solves two problems:

- Eliminating redundant CheckBigInt/CheckBigInt64 by decomposing
  CheckBigInt64 to CheckBigInt and CheckedBigIntToBigInt64.
- Having precise checks for SignedBigInt64 to make the range of BigInt64
  consistent in CheckedBigInt64Ops and CheckedBigIntToBigInt64.
Otherwise, there would be semantic difference between the subgraphs
where we keep CheckBigInt64 inbetween two CheckedBigInt64Ops (e.g.,
the variant assert_types) and the subgraphs where we eliminate the
  checks.

35cc93aa42 [wasm] Detemplatize immediates
The wasm decoder immediates are currently templatized by the {validate}
enum value. They do not need to be though; the only difference is in the
constructor, so the constructor should be templatized instead.

This CL implements that, and also changes the {validate} enum to be a
tag (a typename) instead. This is needed in order to enable template
parameter deduction for the constructor calls (C++ does not allow to
explicitly define the template parameter at constructor calls).

As a nice side effect, this produces nicer symbolized stack traces.
Before:
v8::internal::wasm::Decoder::read_u32v<(v8::internal::wasm::Decoder::ValidateFlag)1>
After:
v8::internal::wasm::Decoder::read_u32v<v8::internal::wasm::Decoder::BooleanValidationTag>

bd590292b3 [turbofan] Optimize rab/gsab-backed TypedArrays and DataViews
This CL adds TurboFan optimizations for length and element access
of TypedArrays and DataViews that are rab/gsab-backed.

To enable this optimization, this CL builds the necessary machinery
required to allow machine operators at the front of the pipeline
(before simplified lowering). Some key changes to allow this are:
 - Introduce Type::Machine() to allow the typer and the verifier to
provide a type to those machine operators in parts of the pipeline
that require nodes to be typed.
 - Add EnterMachineGraph and ExitMachineGraph operators that define
the boundary between early machine graphs and the normal graph with
   JS semantics.
 - Give Branch operators a BranchSemantics parameter to distinguish
between machine branches (condition is a machine level value) and
JS branches (condition is a JS boolean value) and have phases that
handle branches decide on the branch's semantics based on this
parameter instead of the position in the pipeline.
 - Extend SimplifiedLowering and SimplifiedLoweringVerifier to handle
machine graphs. In particular, constants required special handling,
because they are cached in the graph but they may have uses in both
a machine and the JS graph, which prevents consistent typing of
   them.
 - Moved lots of logic from JSCallReducerAssembler into
[JS]GraphAssembler such that functionality can be shared between
   different phases (e.g. JSNativeContextSpecialization and
JSCallReducer need to generate logic to compute a TypedArray's
byte length). Extended assembler interface in general with
   additional TNode<> overloads.

c23bc72c83 [handles] Split off traced handles from regular global handles
v8::TracedReference and their underlying traced handles are not
actually phantom references but have been historically represented as
such. This patch splits off their backing implementaton into
`TracedHandles`.

As a drive-by, re-organize the free list to rely on indices instead of
pointers, saving a full word for each node. In additon, the setup also
allows for freeing fully empty node blocks after GCs.

Allocation/free of nodes is also organized in a way that avoids
jumping between handles/blocks/nodes for accounting purposes.

Removing CRTP in GlobalHandle internals is left for a follow up.

60dfddf03c [heap][test] Fix code coverage tests for conservative stack scanning
Code coverage tests invoke garbage collection, to test that coverage
data is not reclaimed by the garbage collector and that the native
%DebugTogglePreciseCoverage works as intended. One of them tests that
garbage collection indeed reclaims the coverage data, if the above
native is not used. When conservative stack scanning is used, this may
fail.

This CL fixes the tests, ensuring that a precise garbage collection
will be invoked, without scanning the stack. To achieve this, the
garbage collection is invoked not with %CollectGarbage but by using
--expose-gc and the asynchronous execution mode, which ensures that
it will be invoked from the event loop without a stack.

8c7c087812 [heap] Make stack thread-local and introduce stack markers
This CL makes the object keeping stack information thread-local, moving
it from Heap to ThreadLocalTop. In this way, stack scanning will work
correctly when switching between threads, e.g., using v8::Locker.

It also introduces a mechanism for setting a stack marker, to be used
for scanning only the part of stack between its start and the marker
(instead of the current stack top).

d1dcdd9a21 Also copy scope info and flags when merging deserialized script
When merging a newly deserialized script into an existing one from the
compilation cache, it is often the case that a SharedFunctionInfo from
the cached script ("old SFI") has been flushed and the corresponding
SharedFunctionInfo from the new script ("new SFI") is compiled. In that
case, it is sufficient to copy the bytecode array and feedback metadata
from the new SFI to the old SFI, as already implemented.

However, there is another case to consider: perhaps the new SFI is
compiled and the old SFI was never compiled. In that case, the old SFI
has no ScopeInfo and some of its flags may be incorrect.

To fix the problem, this CL updates CompleteMergeInForeground to copy
everything except script_or_debug_info from the new SFI to the old SFI.

This change implies some duplication of ScopeInfos, since each ScopeInfo
can point to its parent, so matching parent ScopeInfos from the new and
old scripts will coexist. However, this isn't a new problem: similar
duplication is already caused by the portion of the merge algorithm
which attaches new compiled SFIs into the old Script where the old
Script doesn't have a matching SFI. I don't see any way in which this
duplication would cause incorrect behavior. In fact, it is possible to
get duplicated ScopeInfos without any merging at all, which indicates to
me that such duplication is safe. Duplication occurs if a SFI is flushed
or removed while one of its descendant functions is still alive, and
subsequently the same function literal is compiled again.

7a21b5b6a2 [heap] Don't finalize all of sweeping for MinorMC
For MinorMC it is sufficient to finalize new space sweeping.
Starting MinorMC will only ensure that background tasks are paused and
all new space pages are swept.

Accounting becomes more complicated since we can have minor sweeping
and full sweeping running at the same time. To support that, new space
sweeping is split to a separate sweeping scope. Also, the
Notify*SweepingCompleted methods are updated for the possibility of
nested sweeping. The distinction is that Notify*SweepingCompleted
knows what kind of sweeping we want to finalize, but not what kind
is currently running.

a02c56694f Reland "[wasm] Allocate feedback vectors on demand"
This is a reland of commit 4804c4de31.

There are major changes since the previous attempt:
- The WasmLiftoffFrameSetup (formerly WasmGetFeedbackVector) builtin
now performs as much of the frame setup work as possible, to reduce
generated code size for each function.
- The WasmLazyCompile builtin/runtime function no longer allocates,
hence gets frame type INTERNAL, and is un-handlified.

Original change's description:

> We previously allocated feedback vectors when instantiating the module,

dadd5f94f5 [regexp] Fix wrong unicode case-insensitive matches
When creating a character class in unicode, case-insensitive mode we use
icu::UnicodeSet::closeOver() to add all characters that case-insensitive
match the characters in the class.
According to the spec only simple case folding shall be performed for
case-insensitive unicode matching, but closeOver() adds all characters
that are equal w.r.t full case folding.
The current approach of just removing strings from the closeOver set is
not enough, as single code point characters still remain in the set if
they were equal only by performing full case folding.
E.g. the characters \u0390 and \u1FD3 both fold to the same string
"\u03B9\u0308\u0301" via full case folding, but they don't have a simple
case folding in common.

To prevent these wrong matches, we calculate the set of all characters
with close overs that are wrong according to the spec at build time and
remove them from the set before adding case-insensitive equivalent
characters.

88358700ea [debug] Fix block lists for scopes with identical positions
This CL fixes a bug in the block list handling for debug-evaluate.
Specifically, we can't rely on the source position alone to find
scopes. We also need to take the scope type into account. This needs
to happen in two places:

  - When we try to find the closure scope in the re-parse
result based on the function at the top of the stack.

  - When we try to find matching `ScopeInfo` objects from
    re-parsed scopes.

Note that the code alrady contains a fix for a similar issue in
the past where we found class scopes instead of member initializer
function scopes. Both share the exact same source position.

This CL generalizes that fix to check that the scope type matches
when looking for the closure scope.

0a66c1b365 [debug] Don't calculate a blocklist for the script scope
This CL fixes the ScopeIterator when it's created for a stack frame
that represents the script scope. For example the following script:

```
function foo() { debugger; }
foo();
```

Then a ScopeIterator created for the second stack frame (`foo()`)
should not a create a blocklist. This is somewhat a special case,
since the closure_scope_/start_scope_ are the SCRIPT_SCOPE.

Note that the debug-evaluate code can't run into this scenario as
we would never iterate far enough to actually trigger block list
calculation. Nevertheless, since it's possible to create a
`ScopeIterator` that could run into this scenario, we guard
against it.

e69505242f [wasm] Add more output to console-profile-wasm test
The test occasionally times out, and it's unclear why.
This CL adds an explicit timeout to the test (30 seconds), and prints

missing from the profiles.

As a drive-by refactoring, we now also use
{InspectorTest.runAsyncTestSuite} instead of the hand-written sequential
execution of the asynchronous test functions.

7c6eddac8a [heap] Correctly flush multi-referenced bytecode
The implementation of bytecode flushing assumes that there is a single
owning SharedFunctionInfo for each bytecode. However, sometimes there
can be two, because a couple of code paths copy content from one
SharedFunctionInfo to another (BackgroundCompileTask::FinalizeFunction
and BackgroundMergeTask::CompleteMergeInForeground). Usually this works
out okay in practice, because we only copy content from a
SharedFunctionInfo when we're about to abandon all references to it.
However, we shouldn't rely on this lucky timing, especially considering
a possible future where conservative stack scanning could retain the
copied-from SharedFunctionInfo for an arbitrarily long time due to
spurious stack references. This change updates the bytecode flushing
implementation to correctly handle the case of two SharedFunctionInfos
that point to the same BytecodeArray.

I don't know if this fixes the linked bug, but so far it's the only
semi-plausible explanation I've found.

104c564460 [liveedit] Fix DCHECK when changing outer scope variables
This CL fixes the ScopeInfo::Equals DCHECK when we update "unchanged"
functions. We don't need to make sure the outer scope info matches
exactly. LiveEdit already makes sure that outer scope infos don't
change in a way that would be bad for "unchanged" functions. It's
fine if they only change subtly by e.g. moving a outer context variable from `let` to `const`.

Note that we don't touch existing closures on the heap, those
will still reference the old scope info.

0cae66a5cb [wasm] Fix memory leak in WebAssembly streaming interface
A circular ownership of ref-counted resources caused the leak as the
wasm::StreamingDecoder stored a callback that contained the decoder in
its scope (needed for the URL).

7377950936 [wasm-gc] Fix typer bug
When we change input to an AssertNotNull node as part of an
optimization, the type of the new input might be incompatible with its
current type. Therefore we need to untype the node to not trigger an
error later.

6013fdbac9 [runtime] Cache template objects as JSArray lists keyed on Script
Make several changes to template object caching:

  * Key the cache on Script rather than SFI, so that entries stay alive
even if the SFI dies (e.g. because its parent is code flushed) but
can be resurrected (because other functions from the same script can
    recreate it)

  * With the above change, identify the required template object by
comparing both function literal id and feedback slot id.

  * Change the cache from a linked list of CachedTemplateObjects into an
ArrayList pointing directly to the template object JSArrays.

  * With CachedTemplateObjects being gone, store the function literal id
and slot id directly on the JSArray behind private symbols. Fast
path access to them in the case where the template object has the
expected map, and look them up in a slow path if the map changed
(e.g. because the template object was used as a prototype and
    transitioned to a dictionary map).

a79dde2bce [maglev] Fix exception phi for receiver in constructors
Our previous assumption that the receiver is immutable is incorrect in
constructors. Change the current logic (which never generates an
exception phi for receivers, but instead re-uses the parameter slot)
into forcing the receiver exception phi to be allocated (and spilled) in
the receiver parameter slot.
