d0b408a84a [builtins-pgo] Make builtins profiles architecture independent
Profiles for 64/32 bits architectures are not interchangeable but
profiles collected for x64/x86 can be used for arm64/arm respectively.

Attempt to use an incompatible profile is now a fatal build error.

Note that some Float64RoundXXX instructions that are available on
arm64 are not available on x64, so we generate a bunch of code
containing branches instead. This means that we are safe to use x64
profiles for arm64 but not the other way round, otherwise we'll miss
the profile info for the subgraph that's not generated on arm64.

473cab6ce6 [wasm] Separate counters and events from decoding
We currently add two samples: One for the overall wire bytes size and
one for the number of declared functions. Both is not only available
during decoding, but also to the caller. Hence separate the update of
counters and events from actual decoding. This will make it simpler to
decode a module (for re-validation) without updating counters.

18e1eec3d7 [v8windbg] Fix crash when reading external strings
The debug_helper library is intended to be used from a debugger process
which is attached to the debuggee process that includes V8 content. When
reading memory from the debuggee process, debug_helper should use the
MemoryAccessor function which reads remote memory rather than
dereferencing pointers into the debugger's memory space and potentially
crashing. I recently noticed that v8windbg crashes on external strings
because the sandbox has been enabled, and the debug_helper code for
external strings was incorrectly reading memory from the debugger
process rather than the debuggee.

You might ask: why wasn't this caught in automated tests? There is a
test, cctest/test-debug-helper, which exercises this exact code, but it
does so with the debugger and debuggee in the same process. Setting up a
proper cross-process test would be much more complex and
platform-specific, and this class of bug has never turned up before, so
I think the existing test coverage is adequate.

c76c2787d9 Upload artifacts to resultdb
We change the way we send the output and the ordered flags to resultdb:
 - we create an 'output' artifact to be uploaded end embedded in summary_html
 - we create a 'cmd' artifact that will capture the order of the flags

Example output from local tests:

becc278d14 [foozzie] Ignore --harmony-struct until it's suitable for differential fuzzing
The flag --harmony-struct changes the global object which is
observable when doing differential fuzzing. The flag will now be
ignored to close ongoing false positives. It could be enabled in

configurations, which could be faked behind the flag:
--correctness-fuzzer-suppressions.

there are no conflicts with existing flags. The --liftoff flag is not a
problem, because Liftoff was anyways the default for eager compilation.

2b133ebc9e [gcmole] Simplify gcmole directives and add tests
This prepares work for speeding up gcmole infrastructure by adding
more checks and testing.

- Add a presubmit check that verifies gcmole directives in gn files.
- Simplify gcmole directives in gn files. Drop all but the
architecture property as the others were unused. Simplify regular
  expressions.
- Fix some gcmole directives (fly by - only on untested
  architectures).
- Add a python test for the changed function in gcmole.py. There's
no other testing yet and this starts somewhere. The test simulates
real BUILD.gn files via checked-in test data.

e69325305b [wasm] Split heap type decoding from validation
When introducing heap type decoding we added some module-specific checks
to the constructor of certain immediates. This broke the previous design
where module-specific checks were done in a separate {Validate} method.

This CL restores that state.

35cc93aa42 [wasm] Detemplatize immediates
The wasm decoder immediates are currently templatized by the {validate}
enum value. They do not need to be though; the only difference is in the
constructor, so the constructor should be templatized instead.

This CL implements that, and also changes the {validate} enum to be a
tag (a typename) instead. This is needed in order to enable template
parameter deduction for the constructor calls (C++ does not allow to
explicitly define the template parameter at constructor calls).

As a nice side effect, this produces nicer symbolized stack traces.
Before:
v8::internal::wasm::Decoder::read_u32v<(v8::internal::wasm::Decoder::ValidateFlag)1>
After:

This CL makes the object keeping stack information thread-local, moving

for scanning only the part of stack between its start and the marker
(instead of the current stack top).

a02c56694f Reland "[wasm] Allocate feedback vectors on demand"
This is a reland of commit 4804c4de31.

There are major changes since the previous attempt:
- The WasmLiftoffFrameSetup (formerly WasmGetFeedbackVector) builtin
now performs as much of the frame setup work as possible, to reduce
generated code size for each function.
- The WasmLazyCompile builtin/runtime function no longer allocates,
hence gets frame type INTERNAL, and is un-handlified.

Original change's description:
> [wasm] Allocate feedback vectors on demand
>
> We previously allocated feedback vectors when instantiating the module,
> or when lazily compiling a function. That's not sufficient when there
> are multiple instances of the same NativeModule, or when we eagerly
> tier-down all code for debugging. This patch changes the "get vector from
> instance" sequence at the beginning of every Liftoff function to "get

6013fdbac9 [runtime] Cache template objects as JSArray lists keyed on Script
Make several changes to template object caching:

  * Key the cache on Script rather than SFI, so that entries stay alive
even if the SFI dies (e.g. because its parent is code flushed) but
can be resurrected (because other functions from the same script can
    recreate it)

  * With the above change, identify the required template object by
comparing both function literal id and feedback slot id.

  * Change the cache from a linked list of CachedTemplateObjects into an
ArrayList pointing directly to the template object JSArrays.

  * With CachedTemplateObjects being gone, store the function literal id
and slot id directly on the JSArray behind private symbols. Fast
path access to them in the case where the template object has the
expected map, and look them up in a slow path if the map changed
(e.g. because the template object was used as a prototype and
    transitioned to a dictionary map).

Reason for revert: breaks flake bisect:

The change added the implicit requirement to run testing with

237de893e1 [resultdb] Add ResultDB indicator
Adds a new indicator that will send every result to ResultDB (and ultimately in a bq table; to be configured later).

If we are not running in a ResultDB context we introduce only a minimal overhead by exiting early from indicator.

To test these changes in a luci context with ResultDB we activated resultdb feature flag via V8-Recipe-Flags. This feature got implemented in https://crrev.com/c/3925576 .

e9775165b6 [sandbox] Introduce BoundedSize
A BoundedSize is just a regular size_t when the sandbox is disabled.
However, when the sandbox is enabled, a BoundedLength is guaranteed to
be in the range [0, kMaxSafeBufferSizeForSandbox]. This is (currently)
achieved by storing the length shifted to the left, then right-shifting
it when loading it. This guarantees that the top bits are zero.

BoundedSizes are used to ensure safe access to variable-sized buffers,
in particular ArrayBuffers and their views, located inside the sandbox.
If a full size_t is used to represent their size, it may allow an
attacker to "reach out of" the sandbox address space by setting the
length to a very large value. A BoundedSize prevents this.

a134066748 [wasm][IWYU] Remove unused heavy includes
The function-body-decoder-impl.h header is really heavy, and a comment
at its beginning says that it should only be included for new
implementations of WasmFullDecoder.
While there are other nice reasons to include it (e.g. for the Immediate
types), many includes were not needed.

This CL removes them, and adds other needed includes as needed instead.

d3c1b5a849 [interpreter] Remove await from async generator yield*
Implements the normative change
https://github.com/tc39/ecma262/pull/2819, which removes the await
inside async generator yield*. The delegating iterator result is already
awaited, and this effectively removes an extra tick and unwrapping.

The implementation of `yield` uses the existing AsyncGeneratorYield
builtin, which already performs an Await. It is renamed to
AsyncGeneratorYieldWithAwait.

The implementation of `yield*` uses a new builtin named
AsyncGeneratorYieldNoAwait, which does not perform an Await.

2cd354073e [test] Fix analysis-based numfuzz instances
A recent refactoring changed the behavior of dropping/keeping
results after test execution. The numfuzz loop has previously
treated all results as analysis results, as it expected that others
are dropped. After keeping all results, the second round invalidated
the analysis results and the test loop stopped early.

We now add an additional safeguard that ensures the received result
is indeed associated with an analysis run and do not depend anymore
on result presence/absence.

This also adds all analysis-based instances to the test cases.

6852c402e7 Revert "[sandbox] Fold V8_SANDBOXED_EXTERNAL_POINTERS into V8_ENABLE_SANDBOX"
This reverts commit 49c5967830.

Reason for revert: The change is suspected to be breaking chromium's determinism test: https://ci.chromium.org/ui/p/chromium/builders/ci/Deterministic%20Linux/35003/overview

Original change's description:
> [sandbox] Fold V8_SANDBOXED_EXTERNAL_POINTERS into V8_ENABLE_SANDBOX
>
> Now that all external pointers have been sandboxed,
> V8_SANDBOXED_EXTERNAL_POINTERS is no longer needed. This change also

cd1ee28be8 [test] Fix occasional hangs on pool termination
On termination of the worker pool in the main process, a SIGTERM is
sent from pool to worker. It was meant to terminate long-running
tests in the worker process. The signal handler on the worker side,
however, was only registered during test execution. During the
remaining logic (<1% of the time probably) the default system
behavior for SIGTERM would be used (which will likely just kill
the process). The ungracefully killed process might be killed while
writing to the results queue, which then remains with corrupted data.
Later when the main process cleans up the queue, it hangs.

We now register a default handler in the worker process that catches
the SIGTERM and also gracefully stops the processing loop. Like
that, the SIGTERM signal will always be handled in workers and never
fall back to SIGKILL.

However, a small time window exists when the SIGTERM was caught
right when starting a test process, but when the test-abort handler
was not registered yet. We keep fixing this as a TODO. Worst case,
the main process will block until the last test run is done.

5d50024ed4 [foozzie] Filter some contradictory flags
Add logic to drop cyclic contradictory flags from
correctness-fuzzing command lines. Add the currently known
biggest offenders.

Without this, the correctness fuzzing harness runs into a CHECK
failure during smoke testing, when attempting to pass cyclic flags
to d8. It fails fast, but uselessly burns fuzzing time.

This change drops one of the known cyclic flags instead to make the
test run still useful. The precedence is right to left like in the
V8 test framework.

Additionally on Clusterfuzz, all crashes during smoke testing are
deduped as one crash report. We don't know if there are other
problems before this one is fixed/hidden.

b1553b9188 [interpreter] Omit calling default ctors
If we see a default ctor, walk up the constructors until we find a non-
default one.

Default ctors can only be skipped if there are no class fields / private
brands.

This CL implements the Ignition parts; Sparkplug, Maglev and TF will
be implemented as follow ups. (This is fine, since this feature is
behind a flag.)

6546fcf180 [foozzie] Always include all typed-array mocks
Due to https://crbug.com/1195263, large typed arrays can have an
observable difference on the same architecture, depending on
optimization behavior.

For differential fuzzing comparisons, we previously used a proxy
for typed arrays that capped the maximum size only when comparing
different architectures - there an observable difference is WAI.

We move the capping code and make it arch-independent for now until
the bug above gets fixed, since it caused too many duplicates, which
degrade fuzzing performance.

156c302fda [cleanup] Fix frame mismatch for WasmToJs functions
There are 2 kinds of WasmToJs code: one uses a WasmFrame and the other
a simple TypedFrame TF frame. This CL introduces WasmToJsFunctionFrame
(as a simple TypedFrame) to dfferentiate from the WasmFrame counterpart.

This was not an issue before
https://crrev.com/c9c490891ab3d63fc790770cb1c76f8013ba963f
since we used to use a single master function for pointer iteration.

a25aa43e84 [cleanup] Remove --stress-opt
--stress-opt never did what we wanted it to; it ran its runs in
different contexts (therefore not able to share feedback across runs),
and even if it didn't, each run would create new closures for any
defined closures, so we'd still more than likely end up poly- or
mega-morphic.

Fuzzers cover this use case better than --stress-opt ever did, so now
it's just using precious bot time. We can get rid of it.

134ca75cd3 [runtime] Merge redirected and non-redirected callback fields
Namely:
 - AccessorInfo::getter and AccessorInfo::js_getter,
 - CallHandlerInfo::callback and CallHandlerInfo::js_callback.

The redirected/non-redirected callback distinction is required only
for simulated builds but we wasted memory also for all native builds.

Now we store these fields in "redirected" form which allows us to call
them directly from builtins or generated code. In case it's necessary
to call a callback from C++ code the C function address is read from
the redirection. This additional indirection makes the callback calls
from C++ code in simulated builds slower but saves memory for native
builds.

This CL should recover a part of memory regression caused by inlining
Foreign fields into AccessorInfo and CallHandlerInfo.
