8ebec7dcd8 clean up wxEvtHandler::m_eventsLocker weirdness: there is no need to allocate it dynamically (as it's always done anyhow), this removes the need for ClearEventLocker() and OS/2 #ifdefs

19c4d91638 process one event at once in wxEvtHandler::ProcessPendingEvents() to prevent crashes when a (pending) event handler destroys the event handler object itself; only add the event handler to wxPendingEvents list if it's not already there (and explicitly mention that an object can be present in this list only once in the comment) (replaces patch 1837719)

937013e0fd 1. added wxEvtHandler::SafelyProcessEvent() and wxWindow::HandleWindowEvent() to correctly handle exceptions in even handlers in wxGTK 
2. use HandleWindowEvent() everywhere as more obvious and convenient shortcut for GetEventHandler()->ProcessEvent(); also for consistency with wxGTK where it's required

0751433414 Make wxEVT_SCROLL_ENDSCROLL a #define in event.h so that new applications 
won't depend on it, and so will be compatible with 2.6.1 libs. But still
define and export it in event.cpp so that 2.6.0 apps will be able to use
2.6.1.1 libs.

afafd942a1 Added WXK_SPECIAL... keycodes for special hardware buttons 
Made (Un)RegisterHotKey WinCE-aware.
Added wxEVT_HIBERNATE event.
Now fakes wxEVT_ACTIVATE_APP to be symmetrical with wxEVT_HIBERNATE.
Added wxTE_CAPITALIZE for CAPEDIT controls.

b4b76d6115 Move member m_ variables to be protected rather than public to force usage of Set/Get rather than allow direct access. Compatibility with 2.4 keeps members private, and also creates a class to allow continued usage of m_commandString. GetString() will now get the text control's string when called, rather than store it and return it every time (huge performance gain by doing this, esp. on GTK2)
