This keyword is not expanded by Git which means it's not replaced with the
correct revision value in the releases made using git-based scripts and it's
confusing to have lines with unexpanded "$Id$" in the released files. As
expanding them with Git is not that simple (it could be done with git archive
and export-subst attribute) and there are not many benefits in having them in
the first place, just remove all these lines.
If nothing else, this will make an eventual transition to Git simpler.

Child documents are virtual documents corresponding to parts of their parent
document which can't be saved nor loaded independently of their parent and are
closed when the parent is closed.
This finally makes some use of wxDocument::m_documentParent field which was
always present in the docview code but never used before.

The view doesn't have any associated frame when using the special "single
view" mode in the sample, so don't try to show it when creating a new view.
This resulted in a crash when starting the sample with --single command line
parameter.

There are no real changes in this commit but it removes all trailing white
space from our source files. This avoids problems when applying patches and
making diffs and it would be nice to prevent it from reappearing.

Use "wxWindows licence" and not "wxWidgets licence" (the latter doesn't
exist) and consistently spell "licence" using British spelling.

Use wxDELETE[A]() functions which automatically NULL out their arguments after
deleting them instead of doing it manually.

Remove unnecessary, never used methods.
Don't use pointers when objects or references can be used more safely.
Don't name classes which are not part of wx with "wx" prefix to avoid
confusing people.
Don't define empty unnecessary event tables.
Prefer wxScrolledWindow::SetVirtualSize() to SetScrollbars().
Stop using "protected" when "private" should be used.

wxDeprecated KeyCode.
wxDeprecated old wxList compat methods.
Replaced a large number of them in the gtk build already, but there are
still plenty more so feel free to help nuke them as you find them.
s/^I/ / and s/TRUE/true/ etc. a couple of these too.
