Removed via regex and grep.
The following were intentionally not removed:
- GtkImage:file: (attributes org.gtk.Property.set=gtk_image_set_from_file)
- GtkImage:resource: (attributes org.gtk.Property.set=gtk_image_set_from_resource)
As they have no getter and (setter PROP) without a (getter PROP) crash
gobject-introspection. This is fixed by
ad3118eb51.
... and plumb the color state through the downloading machinery, where
no matter what path it takes it ends up in
gdk_memory_convert_color_state() or gdk_memory_convert().
The 2nd of those has been expanded to optionally do colorstate
conversion when the 2 colorstates are different.
Previously, we were always downloading into CAIRO_FORMAT_ARGB32.
Now we check the texture depth and pick a suitable format.
This improves rendering for high depth content, but it's slower.
That's why we're not yet making sure the depth is suitable for the
colorspace conversion. That would force all SRGB textures into float
surfaces as we don't consider conversions suitable for U8 in our generic
code.
We want to store some metadata in our symbolic pngs, so make it
possible to get options when loading a png, along with the texture.
Update all callers.
... and use it in rendernodes.
Setting up textures for diffing is done via gdk_texture_set_diff() which
should only be used during texture construction.
Note that the pointers to next/previous are allowed to dangle if one of
the textures is finalized, but that's fine because we always check both
textures' links to each other before we consider the pointer valid.
The API docs outline why quite well.
This should make it possible to do saving of textures to image files
without any private API with the same featureset that GTK uses.
Also remove the gsktextureprivate.h include where
gdk_texture_get_format() was the only reason for it.
Those property features don't seem to be in use anywhere.
They are redundant since the docs cover the same information
and more. They also created unnecessary translation work.

Pass a format do GdkTextureClass::download(). That way we can download
data in any format.
Also replace gdk_texture_download_texture() with
gdk_memory_texture_from_texture() which again takes a format.
The old functionality is still there for code that wants it: Just pass
gdk_texture_get_format (texture) as the format argument.
For MemoryTexture, this is a simple change.
For GLTexture, we need to query the format at texture creation. This
sounds like a bad idea and extra work until one realizes that we'd
need to do that anyway when using the texure the first time - either
when downloading, or when trying to use it in a rendernode, where we
will soon need that information to determine if the texture prefers high
depth.
This is a companion to gdk_texture_save_to_png, using
the tiff format, which will let us avoid lossy conversion
of HDR data, since we can store floating point data.
