Handle 0 WId parameter as meaning "desktop window"/whole screen.
Also, re-add the default values for the grab area, both for
convenience and compatibility with QPixmap::grabWindow() in Qt4.
Update the screenshot example so it doesn't comlain about usage of
deprecated QPixmap::grabWindow().

setUnifiedTitleAndToolBarOnMac will not be supported
on Qt 5, which removes the point of having this example.
The replacement for setUnifiedTitleAndToolBarOnMac
will be a NSToolBar wrapper in the MacExtras module,
and this example will probably re-appear in some form
there.

qmake can't parse /* C-style comments */. The license headers in these
files should use # as the comment delimiter. However, .pro files anyway
don't need license headers, so just remove them.

Algorithmic complexity attacks against hash tables have been known
since 2003 (cf. [1, 2]), and they have been left unpatched for years
until the 2011 attacks [3] against many libraries /
(reference) implementations of programming languages.
This patch adds a qHash overload taking two arguments: the value to
be hashed, and a uint to be used as a seed for the hash function
itself (support the global QHash seed was added in a previous patch).
The seed itself is not used just yet; instead, 0 is passed.
Compatibility with the one-argument qHash(T) implementation is kept
through a catch-all template.

This class is meant to replace the QUrl functionality that handled
key-value pairs in the query part of an URL. We therefore split the
URL parsing code from the code dealing with the pairs: QUrl now only
needs to deal with one encoded string, without knowing what it is.
Since it doesn't know how to decode the query, QUrl also becomes
limited in what it can decode. Following the letter of the RFC,
queries will not encode "gen-delims" nor "sub-delims" nor the plus
sign (+), thus allowing the most common delimiters options to remain
unchanged.
QUrlQuery has some undefined behaviour when it comes to empty query
keys. It may drop them or keep them; it may merge them, etc.

QMetaType::Void was ambiguous, it was pointing to a valid type (void)
and in the same time it was signaling errors in QMetaType. There was
no clean way to check if returned type was valid void or some
unregistered type.
This feature will be used by new QMetaObject revision which will
store type ids instead of type names. So it will be easy to
distinguish between:
void mySlot();
MyUnregisteredType mySlot();

In Qt5 the meta-data format will be changed to not store the
method signature string explicitly; the signature will be
reconstructed on demand from the method name and parameter type
information.
The QMetaMethod::signature() method returns a const char pointer.
Changing the return type to QByteArray can lead to silent bugs due to
the implicit conversion to char *. Even though it's a source-
incompatible change, it's therefore better to introduce a new
function, methodSignature(), and remove the old signature().

Support pixel-based deltas as well as sending
dx and dy values in the same event. Keep source and
behavior compatibility with Qt 4.
New API:
QPoint pixelDelta() const
QPoint angleDelta() const
Deprecate delta() and orientation().
Both pixel-based deltas and combined updates are
necessary for smooth trackpad-based scrolling on
OS X.
Qt 4 compatible behavior is achieved by sending an
extra wheel event in cases where the initial event
has a combined dx and dy update. This extra event
sends dx in delta() and orientation(), with pixelDelta()
and angleDelta() set to null.
Modify the Cocoa implementation to provide pixel
deltas. It is expected that not all platforms can
provide these. Angle deltas will always be available.

Mimetype definitions come from shared-mime-info where available (UNIX systems),
loaded using a mmap'ed binary cache generated by update-mime-database.
As a fallback if no cache is found, we parse the raw XML files otherwise.
This makes the MIME type support fast and with very low memory usage on UNIX,
and it makes it easy to use on Windows (no dependency on shared-mime-info,
Qt even includes a freedesktop.xml file to use if none are found on the system).

Record the file, line, and function where a qDebug, qWarning, qCritical
or qFatal call happens, and make this information available in a custom
message handler.
The patch uses the C preprocessor to replace qDebug, qWarning, ... with
a line that also records the current file, line, and function. Custom
message handlers can access this information via a new QMessageLogContext
argument.

It adds a fast, fully compliant json parser, a

Automated tests often need to load some data from external files.
Currently, a wide variety of approaches for this have been used in Qt
autotests, including:
- embed the source directory into the test binary at compile time, and
find the testdata relative to that; this fails when the source tree
is no longer available (e.g. when the tests are deployed to a device).
- use a path relative to the current working directory, and trust that
the caller always sets the current working directory such that the
testdata can be found; this fails when the caller uses a different
working directory than expected.
- use a path relative to QCoreApplication::applicationDirPath();
this fails when source tree != build tree (since testdata is not
automatically copied into the build tree).
- compile the files into the binary using the Qt resource system; this
should work, but does not allow for testing of code which genuinely
needs external files.
It seems that there is not a simple method for determining the testdata
path which can be reliably used in all circumstances, so various tests
have reinvented the testdata location method in different ways.
Therefore, this is a good candidate for an addition to the testlib API.
The current implementation of QFINDTESTDATA is able to find testdata
in all three of (build tree, install tree, source tree), in that order.

This add an overload to disconnect which is symetrical to the new
syntax of connect.
It is possible to diconnect connection like this:
QObject::connect( sender, &Sender::valueChanged,
receiver, &Receiver::updateValue );
QObject::disconnect( sender, &Sender::valueChanged,
receiver, &Receiver::updateValue );
This overload only work with pointer to member function, and not static
functions or functors.
The test is copied from tst_QObject::disconnect(), just

In addition to the old connection syntax, you can now connect using function pointers.
connect(sender, &Sender::valueChanged,

You can connect also to functor or C++11 lambdas
The connections are now type safe (no more problems with namespaces
or typedefs). Implicit type conversion is also supported.
The new syntax forces us to change the meaning of signal form
protected to public, in order to be able to access the signal's
address everywhere
The way it works is by introducing new overload of QObject::connect
that take function pointer as parametter. Those new overload are template
function, that are implemented inline. The actual implementation is
in QObject::connectImpl which take a QObject::QSlotObject* as parametter
for the slot. That slot object contains a virtual function which call
the slot which has to be implemented in the header as it depends on the
template parametter. So the internals of QObjectPrivate::Connection
will store this QObjectSlot* in order to be able to make the call.

This is a source-incompatible change.
TlsV1 is ambiguous; what is actually meant is TLS version 1.0. There are
also TLS versions 1.1 and 1.2; we might want to add options for these
once OpenSSL supports them (apparently they will be with OpenSSL version
1.0.1).

When the SkipAll mode is used, tests only report a SKIP for the first
line of test data and subsequent lines are not reported at all. This
behaviour makes it impossible for anything post-processing test results
to accurately report test pass- and run- rates because they cannot see
how many lines of test data were skipped.
This commit removes SkipMode. QSKIPs in regular test functions and data
functions are treated the same as SkipSingle, so that every skipped line
of local or global test data is reported in the test log. QSKIPs
elsewhere are treated the same as SkipAll -- skipping in init() causes
the next test function to be skipped entirely, and skipping in
initTestCase() or initTestCase_data() causes all test functions to be
skipped.
This commit only changes qtestlib and the selftests. A further commit
will change the autotests to remove the SkipMode parameter from QSKIP
calls.
Note that the change in expected output for the globaldata selftest is
deliberate, as the QSKIP in the skipLocal test function has effectively
changed from SkipAll to SkipSingle.

This macro is no longer used in Qt's tests and encourages writing tests
in a way that makes test reporting less accurate -- remove it to prevent
further misuse. If a test can be determined at compile-time to be
inapplicable, it should be omitted from the build via .pro file logic.
If that is not possible (e.g. there is no suitable qmake variable), the
test's initTestCase() function should call QSKIP to skip the entire test
with a meaningful explanation.

create() is symmetric with destroy().
Also rename the internal methods and fields to be
consistent (qDeleteHelper already had the "right"
name, though!).
This change will allow us to use construct() and
destruct() for something else: Placement new-style
allocation (QTBUG-12574).
The old construct() is still kept for now, until
the other repositories have been updated to use
create().

In 4.8 we added support for using StringBuilder with QByteArray.
But this is breaking source compatibility for people that used
QT_USE_FAST_OPERATOR_PLUS in Qt 4.7. So we introduce a new macro
Notice that QT_USE_FAST_CONCATENATION was not working without
QT_USE_FAST_OPERATOR_PLUS, so we remove the checking of that macro.
