6bd5284415 Remove SkAutoTUnref and SkAutoTDelete from public includes.
This also makes the required changed to src, tests, and tools. The few
public APIs modified by this change appear to be unused outside of Skia.

Removing these from the public API makes it easier to ensure users are
no longer using them.

This also updates GrGpu::wrapBackendXXX and the
::onWrapBackendXXX methods to clarify ownership.

bd3fe475b8 Convert SkRasterPipeline loads and stores to indirect.
This allows us to change the underlying pointer without rebuilding the pipeline, e.g. when moving the blitter from scanline to scanline.

The extra overhead when not needed is measurable but small, <2%. We can always add back direct stages later for cases where we know the context pointer will not change.

618d304eb3 GrConstColorProcessor uses 4f colors in the destination space
Many places that construct one are explicitly specifying opaque white or
transparent black, which we can assume (based on the semantics of the
operation) should remain (0,0,0,0) or (1,1,1,1), so that's simple.

In other cases, we convert our source color to destination space.

One wrinkle is tht SkColorFilter now needs to know the destination color
space, due to SkModeColorFilter.

I'm not yet caching these in the blitter, and speed is essentially unchanged in the bench where I am now building and compiling the pipeline only once. This may not be able to stay a simple std::function after I figure out caching, but for now it's a nice fit.

19b91531e9 Add support for multiple frames in SkCodec
Add an interface to decode frames beyond the first in SkCodec, and
add an implementation for SkGifCodec.

Add getFrameData to SkCodec. This method reads ahead in the stream
to return a vector containing meta data about each frame in the image.
This is not required in order to decode frames beyond the first, but
it allows a client to learn extra information:
- how long the frame should be displayed
- whether a frame should be blended with a prior frame, allowing the
client to provide the prior frame to speed up decoding

Add a new fields to SkCodec::Options:
- fFrameIndex
- fHasPriorFrame

The API is designed so that SkCodec never caches frames. If a
client wants a frame beyond the first, they specify the frame in
Options.fFrameIndex. If the client does not have the
frame's required frame (the frame that this frame must be blended on
top of) cached, they pass false for
Options.fHasPriorFrame. Unless the frame is
independent, the codec will then recursively decode all frames
necessary to decode fFrameIndex. If the client has the required frame
cached, they can put it in the dst they pass to the codec, and the
codec will only draw fFrameIndex onto it.

Replace SkGifCodec's scanline decoding support with progressive
decoding, and update the tests accordingly.

Implement new APIs in SkGifCodec. Instead of using gif_lib, use
GIFImageReader, imported from Chromium (along with its copyright
headers) with the following changes:
- SkGifCodec is now the client
- Replace blink types
- Combine GIFColorMap::buildTable and ::getTable into a method that
  creates and returns an SkColorTable
- Input comes from an SkStream, instead of a SegmentReader. Add
SkStreamBuffer, which buffers the (potentially partial) stream in
  order to decode progressively.
(FIXME: This requires copying data that previously was read directly
from the SegmentReader. Does this hurt performance? If so, can we
  fix it?)
- Remove UMA code
- Instead of reporting screen width and height to the client, allow the
  client to query for it
- Fail earlier if the first frame AND screen have size of zero
- Compute required previous frame when adding a new one
- Move GIFParseQuery from GIFImageDecoder to GIFImageReader
- Allow parsing up to a specific frame (to skip parsing the rest of the
stream if a client only wants the first frame)
- Compute whether the first frame has alpha and supports index 8, to
create the SkImageInfo. This happens before reporting that the size
  has been decoded.

Add GIFImageDecoder::haveDecodedRow to SkGifCodec, imported from
Chromium (along with its copyright header), with the following changes:
- Add support for sampling
- Use the swizzler
- Keep track of the rows decoded
- Do *not* keep track of whether we've seen alpha

Remove SkCodec::kOutOfOrder_SkScanlineOrder, which was only used by GIF
scanline decoding.

Call onRewind even if there is no stream (SkGifCodec needs to clear its
decoded state so it will decode from the beginning).

Add a method to SkSwizzler to access the offset into the dst, taking
subsetting into account.

Add a GM that animates a GIF.
Add tests for the new APIs.

*** Behavior changes:
* Previously, we reported that an image with a subset frame and no transparent
index was opaque and used the background index (if present) to fill the
background. This is necessary in order to support index 8, but it does not
match viewers/browsers I have seen. Examples:
- Chromium and Gimp render the background transparent
- Firefox, Safari, Linux Image Viewer, Safari Preview clip to the frame (for
  a single frame image)
This CL matches Chromium's behavior and renders the background transparent.
This allows us to have consistent behavior across products and simplifies
the code (relative to what we would have to do to continue the old behavior
on Android). It also means that we will no longer support index 8 for some
GIFs.
* Stop checking for GIFSTAMP - all GIFs should be either 89a or 87a.
This matches Chromium. I suspect that bugs would have been reported if valid
GIFs started with "GIFVER" instead of "GIF89a" or "GIF87a" (but did not decode
in Chromium).

*** Future work not included in this CL:
* Move some checks out of haveDecodedRow, since they are the same for the
  entire frame e.g.
- intersecting the frameRect with the full image size
- whether there is a color table
* Change when we write transparent pixels
- In some cases, Chromium deemed this unnecessary, but I suspect it is slower
than the fallback case. There will continue to be cases where we should
*not* write them, but for e.g. the first pass where we have already
cleared to transparent (which we may also be able to skip) writing the
transparent pixels will not make anything incorrect.
* Report color type and alpha type per frame
- Depending on alpha values, disposal methods, frame rects, etc, subsequent
frames may have different properties than the first.
* Skip copies of the encoded data
- We copy the encoded data in case the stream is one that cannot be rewound,
so we can parse and then decode (possibly not immediately). For some input
  streams, this is unnecessary.
  - I was concerned this cause a performance regression, but on average the
new code is faster than the old for the images I tested [1].
  - It may cause a performance regression for Chromium, though, where we can
always move back in the stream, so this should be addressed.

The refactoring breaks off A2B0 tag support into a separate

ICC profile loading is now aware of this and creates the A2B0

The LabPCSDemo GM loads a .icc profile containing a LAB PCS and
then runs a Lab->XYZ conversion on an image using it so we can
display it and test out the A2B0 SkColorSpace functionality,
sans a/b/m-curves, as well as the Lab->XYZ conversion code.

6c15cc7e9d Modify deferred texture image API's handling of gamma
This tries to match the behavior you would see if you rendered directly to
a canvas without going through this round-trip. Specifically, mips are
built in the same way that they would be according to the context's
internal logic. To make things clearer, the user passes in the color space
of the destination surface, not our (internal) enum.

4a6b28ef76 Add "Narrow" RGB gamut to DM
This is an artificially small color space, for testing rendering with
values that fall outside of [0,1]. All of the saturated sRGB colors used
in our tests will end up landing outside of [0,1] in this space, so we can
verify that nothing that crashes, or produces wildly incorrect results.

Of course, many GMs *do* produce wildly incorrect results, but I need
to catalog all of those and start figuring out why.

Update the ANGLE test GL context, GrContextFactory, and config parsing to allow explicit control of ANGLE front/backend.

This will allow us to explicitly test ES2 vs ES3 interfaces to ANGLE as well as D3D9, D3D11, and OpenGL backends.

Also makes the angle api types valid in all builds (but will just fail when SK_ANGLE=1 or not on windows for the d3d backends).

7c602de058 Removed makeLinearGamma() from the public API for SkColorSpace
It will now reside in SkColorSpace_Base. Future work for SkColorSpace
will cause this function to not be desirable or sensible to call on
all SkColorSpaces. Call sites were changed to make a kSRGBLinear_Named
instead of kSRGB_Named -> makeLinearGamma() (the majority of cases),
and if that was not possible, SkColorSpace_Base::makeLinearGamma()
was called instead.

allRowsCallback was asserting that

But it was expecting fFirstRow to be 0 (logically, it is, since we are
decoding all rows), and it never set it (because it doesn't really need
to, except for this assert). This is only a problem if we reuse an
SkPngCodec after previously scaling with it. Add a test that triggers
the assert, and fix it.

61c21cdcc3 tight bounds optimization
Add support for tight bounds to detect and return moveTo
followed by close or zero-length lineTo.

Also short circuit so that hard work is avoided when
the path bounds is also the tight bounds.

Avoid doing work if the bounds can be trivially computed.
Include naked moveTo coordinates in the tight bounds.

9161ef012f Make all SkRasterPipeline stages stock stages in SkOpts.
If we want to support VEX-encoded instructions (AVX, F16C, etc.) without a ridiculous slowdown, we need to make sure we're running either all VEX-encoded instructions or all non-VEX-encoded instructions. That means we cannot mix arbitrary user-defined SkRasterPipeline::Fn (never VEX) with those living in SkOpts (maybe VEX)... it's SkOpts or bust.

This ports the existing user-defined SkRasterPipeline::Fn use cases over to use stock stages from SkOpts. I rewrote the unit test to use stock stages, and moved the SkXfermode implementations to SkOpts. The code deleted for SkArithmeticMode_scalar should already be dead.

c6cc28c35b Fixed invalid memory access issue in SkColorSpaceXform::apply()
Passing in a large buffer along with a source colour space that
used a CLUT would cause apply() to read freed heap memory, or
for smaller buffers read possibly re-used stack memory.
The code previously likely lucked out due to optimizations
removing most or all of the subsequent stack allocations.

50094fb489 Explicit control in tools of ANGLE frontend and backend
Update the ANGLE test GL context, GrContextFactory, and config parsing to allow explicit control of ANGLE front/backend.

This will allow us to explicitly test ES2 vs ES3 interfaces to ANGLE as well as D3D9, D3D11, and OpenGL backends.

Also makes the angle api types valid in all builds (but will just fail when SK_ANGLE=1 or not on windows for the d3d backends).

baaf8ad952 Start moving SkRasterPipeline stages to SkOpts.
This lets them pick up runtime CPU specializations. Here I've plugged in SSE4.1. This is still one of the N prelude CLs to full 8-at-a-time AVX.

I've moved the union of the stages used by SkRasterPipelineBench and SkRasterPipelineBlitter to SkOpts... they'll all be used by the blitter eventually. Picking up SSE4.1 specialization here (even still just 4 pixels at a time) is a significant speedup, especially to store_srgb(), so much that it's no longer really interesting to compare against the fused-but-default-instruction-set version in the bench. So that's gone now.

That left the SkRasterPipeline unit test as the only other user of the EasyFn simplified interface to SkRasterPipeline. So I converted that back down to the bare-metal interface, and EasyFn and its friends became SkRasterPipeline_opts.h exclusive abbreviations (now called Kernel_Sk4f). This isn't really unexpected: SkXfermode also wanted to build up its own little abstractions, and once you build your own abstraction, the value of an additional EasyFn-like layer plummets to negative.

For simplicity I've left the SkXfermode stages alone, except srcover() which was always part of the blitter. No particular reason except keeping the churn down while I hack. These _can_ be in SkOpts, but don't have to be until we go 8-at-a-time.

c8dd6bc3e7 Rearrange SkRasterPipeline scanline tail handling.
We used to step at a 4-pixel stride as long as possible, then run up to 3 times, one pixel at a time. Now replace those 1-at-a-time runs with a single tail stamp if there are 1-3 remaining pixels.

This style is simply more efficient: e.g. we'll blend and lerp once for 3 pixels instead of 3 times. This should make short blits significantly more efficient. It's also more future-oriented... AVX+ on Intel and SVE on ARM support masked loads and stores, so we can do the entire tail in one direct step.

This also makes it possible to re-arrange the code a bit to encapsulate each stage better. I think generally this code reads more clearly than the old code, but YMMV. I've arranged things so you write one function, but it's compiled into two specializations, one for tail=0 (Body) and one for tail>0 (Tail). It's pretty tidy.

For now I've just burned a register to pass around tail. It's 2 bits now, maybe soon 3 with AVX, and capped at 4 for even the craziest new toys, so there are plenty of places we can pack it if we want to get clever.

Gradients (and other shaders) are going to end up serializing this

eed6b0e1d8 Change SkSpecialImage::makeSurface and makeTightSurface to take output
properties (color space), bounds, and (optional) alphaType.

We were being pretty inconsistent before. Raster was honoring all
components of the info. GPU was using the supplied color type, but
propagating the source's color space. All call sites were saying N32.

What we want to do is propagate the original device's color space, and
pick a good format from that. Rather than force all the clients to
jump through hoops constructing an SkImageInfo that meets our criteria,
just have them supply the few bits we care about, and do everything else
internally.

This also lets us always use RGBA on GPU, but N32 on raster.

components of the info.

4562f6ecda Add ability to pick a different gamut in GPU f16 or sRGB configs
For now, the only options are sRGB or WideGamutRGB

Basically, the color option to the gpu config is now of
the form: 8888|srgb[_gamut]|f16[_gamut]

color=8888 still implies legacy behavior
srgb implies 8-bit gamma-correct rendering (via sRGB format)
f16 implies 16-bit gamma-correct rendering (via F16 format)

Either of the last two options can then optionally include
a gamut specifier, either _srgb or _wide.
_srgb selects the (default) sRGB gamut
_wide selects the Adobe Wide Gamut RGB gamut, which is nice
for testing, in that it's significantly wider than sRGB,
so rendering differences are obvious.

8e6c7ada5a Make SkPngCodec decode progressively.
This is a step towards using SkCodec in Chromium, where progressive
decoding is necessary.

Switch from using png_read_row (which expects all the data to be
available) to png_process_data, which uses callbacks when rows are
available.

Create a new API for SkCodec, which supports progressive decoding and
scanline decoding. Future changes will switch the other clients off of
startScanlineDecode and get/skip-Scanlines to the new API.

Remove SkCodec::kNone_ScanlineOrder, which was only used for interlaced
PNG images. In the new API, interlaced PNG fits kTopDown. Also remove
updateCurrScanline(), which was only used by the old implementation for
interlaced PNG.

DMSrcSink:
- In CodecSrc::kScanline_Mode, use the new method for scanline decoding
for the supported formats (just PNG and PNG-in-ICO for now).

fuzz.cpp:
- Remove reference to kNone_ScanlineOrder

SkCodec:
- Add new APIs:
    - startIncrementalDecode
    - incrementalDecode
- Remove kNone_SkScanlineOrder and updateCurrScanline()
- Set fDstInfo and fOptions in getPixels(). This may not be necessary
for all implementations, but it simplifies things for SkPngCodec.

SkPngCodec:
- Implement new APIs
- Switch from sk_read_fn/png_read_row etc to png_process_data
- Expand AutoCleanPng's role to decode the header and create the
  SkPngCodec
- Make the interlaced PNG decoder report how many lines were
  initialized during an incomplete decode

SkIcoCodec:
- Implement the new APIs; supported for PNG in ICO

SkSampledCodec:
- Call the new method for decoding scanlines, and fall back to the old
method if the new version is unimplemented
- Remove references to kNone_SkScanlineOrder

tests/CodecPartial:
- Add a test which decodes part of an image, then finishes the decode,
and compares it to the straightforward method

tests/CodecTest:
- Add a test which decodes all scanlines using the new method
- Repurpose the Codec_stripes test to decode using the new method in
sections rather than all at once
- In the method check(), add a parameter for whether the image supports
the new method of scanline decoding, and be explicit about whether an
  image supports incomplete
- Test incomplete PNG decodes. We should have been doing it anyway for
non-interlaced (except for an image that is too small - one row), but
the new method supports interlaced incomplete as well
- Make test_invalid_parameters test the new method
- Add a test to ensure that it's safe to fall back to scanline decoding without
  rewinding

BUG=skia:4211

The new version was generally faster than the old version (but not significantly so).

f93d71122e SkFontData to use smart pointers.
The SkFontData type is not exposed externally, so any method which uses
it can be updated to use smart pointers without affecting external
users. Updating this first will make updating the public API much
easier.

This also updates SkStreamAsset* SkStream::NewFromFile(const char*) to
std::unique_ptr<SkStreamAsset> SkStream::MakeFromFile(const char*). It
appears that no one outside Skia is currently using SkStream::NewfromFile

appears that no one outside Skia is currently using SkStream::NewfromFile
so this is a good time to update it as well.

e839e78443 quad and conic do not intersect
If a quad a conic intersect only where the end of one
is contained by the convex hull of the other, and the
curve contained by the hull is nearly a straight line,
treating it as a line may move the end point to the
other side of the curve.

Detect this by checking to see if the end point is in
the hull, and if so, continue to subdivide the curve
rather than treating it as a line.

This fixes several existing tests that were disabled
earlier this year.

A typo in SkDCurve::nearPoint() prevented detecting when
the end of a line was nearly touching a curve.

Also fixed concidence a bit to get the second half of
tiger further along.

All existing tests, including extended testing in
Release and the first half of tiger, work.

a17411f056 Improved optional command handling in SkParsePath::FromSVGString()
Repeating command letters are optional in SVG path data strings:
https://www.w3.org/TR/SVG/paths.html#PathData

FromSVGString() already supports this feature, but only checks for
scalars prefixes == (digit | '-' | '+').

A decimal point is also a valid scalar prefix though, so it should be
included in the test.

eed356d281 Rewriting path writer
The path writer takes constructs the output path out of
curves that satisfy the pathop operation.

Curves contain lists of t/point pairs that may not be
comparable to each other. To match up curve ends in the
output path, look for adjacent curves to have a shared
membership rather than comparing point values.

Use path utilities to connect partial curve lists into
closed contours.

Share the angle code that determines if a curve has become
a degenerate line with the path writer.

Clean up some code on the way, and delete some unused
functions.

81a478ca6c Skip adding coincident edges found
during curve intersection if their
ends are nearly the same.

Loosen conic/line intersection point
check.

Detect when coincident points are
unordered. This means that points
a/b/c on one curve may appear in
b/c/a order on the opposite curve.

Restructure addMissing to return
success and return if a coincidence
was added as a parameter.

With this, tiger part a works.
Tiger part b exposes bugs around
tight quads that are nearly coincident
with themselves, and are coincident
with something else.

The greedy coicident matcher
may cause the point order to be
out of sync.

Still working out what to do in
this case.

8016b264ce interpolation of coincidence must be local to a single span
Pathops makes up intersections that it doesn't detect directly,
but do exist. For instance, if a is coincident with b, and
b is coincident with c, then for where they overlap
a is coincident with c.

The intersections are made up in different ways. In a few
places, the t values that are detected are interpolated to
guess the t values that represent invented intersections.

The interpolated t is not necessarily linear, but a linear
guess is good enough if the invented t lies between known
t values.

Additionally, improve debugging.

This passes the extended release test suite and additionally
passes the first 17 levels in the tiger test suite;
previously, path ops passed 7 levels.

The tiger suite is composed of 37 levels in increasing
complexity, described by about 300K tests.

db42be9a32 Improve usage of window rectangles
* Skips non-AA diff rect elements and replaces them with window
  rectangles.
* Places window rectangles in the interiors of antialiased diff rects.
* Arranges two overlapping window rectangles in a plus shape inside of
  diff rounded rects.
* Enables window rectangles when clearing and generating clip masks.

GTX 960 perf result (with vs. without window rectangles):

30b9fdd6a1 pathops coincident work
This is working towards fixing all bugs around simplifying the tiger.

This installment simplifies the point-t intersection list as it is built rather than doing the analysis once the intersections are complete. This avoids getting the list in an inconsistent state and makes coincident checks faster and more stable.

8abb370aca Have GrSurfaceProxys and GrGpuResources draw from the same pool of unique ids
The idea here is that, for wrapped Proxy objects, we want the uniqueID to reflect that of the wrapped object. For this to work the IDs for the non-wrapped versions can't conflict with GrGpuResource's pool of IDs.

Split off of: https://codereview.chromium.org/2215323003/ (Start using RenderTargetProxy (omnibus))
