Avoid generating a tracing scope when there's no such callbacks.
Drive-by: Avoid a return value in the GC call by using a getter in the
single place that is actually interested in whether external callbacks
have been executed for global handles.

The last CL miscalculated the address of Isolate object. We should find the thread_local base address using `_tls_index_`. And, instead of calculating the address manually, all the location information is already available in `Location`. So, we can simply use the Location object to create a typed object.
Also, adding a testcase for `curisolate()` function.

We introduce a wasm null object, separate from JS null. Its purpose is
to support trapping null accesses for wasm objects.
This will be achieved by allocating a large payload for it (larger than
any wasm struct) and memory-protecting it (see linked CL). The two null
objects get mapped to each other at the wasm-JS boundary.
Since externref objects live on the JS side of the boundary,
null-related instructions in wasm now need an additional type argument
to handle the correct null object.

Known-pointer decompression used to be distinct from any-tagged-value
decompression, since the latter used to detect Smis and decompress them
with sign extension. However, we got rid of this distinction when we
introduced Smi-corrupting loads (allowing the top 32-bits of
uncompressed Smis to be undefined), which means that the TaggedPointer
and TaggedAny decompression is now identical.
We can remove a bunch of duplicate code by removing this distinction.

Some instance types, or type ranges, corresponds to a range of pointers
in the static read only roots table. Instead of loading the instance
type of a map it can therefore be beneficial to compare the map itself
against this range.
This CL adds:
* Add infrastructure to compute and output a mapping of
`(instance_type_first, instance_type_last) ->
(map_ptr_first, map_ptr_last)` for interesting ranges.
* Extend InstanceTypeChecker to use these ranges.
For single instance types that map onto a range of maps it is not
obvious which check is faster. Checking the map range saves a load,
whereas checking the instance type saves an additional jump.

This updates the file exceptions for js-fuzzer following the procedure
described at js_fuzzer/README.md.
This executed gen_exceptions.sh with the latest web_tests.zip archive.
FYI, the exceptions mark files with parse/mutation errors - i.e. the
fuzzer bails out and is ineffective on those files. It also marks
files not applicable in strict mode, which lets the fuzzer only
choose sloppy instead of bailing out. Some medium slow tests are
going to be chosen with lower probability.
This also fixes a bug in template literal replacements which reduces
the number of skipped test cases.

We start to host PGO profiles for builtins on a GCP bucket. This script supports various workflows to download profiles for tagged git versions.
In a first step, we provide profiles for tagged git versions only. The script identifies this version from the current checkout and downloads (or validates the existence of) the profiles to a directory where they'll be used during build time.
We introduce `checkout_v8_builtins_pgo_profiles` to the DEPS file (defaults to False). If set, we call the new helper script to download the profiles within the gclient sync step.
The profile download is added to the Chromium project in crrev.com/c/4131525.

When disabled, Turbofan is fully excluded from the compilation result.
This is expected to reduce V8's contribution to chromium's binary size
by roughly 20%.
If Turbofan is disabled, Maglev and Webassembly must also be disabled
(since both depend on TF).
Note this new configuration (v8_enable_turbofan=false) is not yet
used anywhere - we'll probably enable it for lite_mode bots in an
upcoming CL for test coverage.
Changes in detail:
- Split out all src/compiler files from the main source sets. This
was mostly done already, here we only clean up the few files that
were left.
- Define a new main TF entry point in turbofan.h. `NewCompilationJob`
replaces `Pipeline::NewCompilationJob`.
- When TF is enabled, turbofan-enabled.cc implements the above.
- When disabled, turbofan-disabled stubs out the above with a runtime
FATAL message.
- The build process is modified s.t. mksnapshot always has TF
available since it's needed to generate builtins. When disabled,
TF is removed from other components, in particular it is no longer
included in v8_compiler and transitively in v8_base.
- When disabled, v8_for_testing no longer has v8_initializers
available. These were only needed for test-serialize.cc, which
is now excluded from this build mode.
- When disabled, remove all related cctest/ und unittest/ files from
the build.

- For TypedArrays, we bail out trying to reduce the access.
- For DataView, we check dynamically the DataView object bitfield
and call a builtin on a slow path.
Drive by: fix presubmit lint to allow assertOptimized when
passing --maglev flag.

Flag conflict detection 1) bails out on incompatible flag values (e.g.
--jitless and --turbofan) and 2) handles such bailouts transparently in
the test runner by marking affected tests as OUTCOMES_FAIL.
This CL adds full support for readonly flags to this system, together
with required additional annotations in variants.py.
Drive-by: assert proper use of v8_enable_slow_dchecks, and add
support when dcheck_always_on is set.
Drive-by: introduce has_maglev build variable detection based on
v8_enable_maglev and use that for .status file annotations.
Drive-by: protect against unintended overwrites of build variables
in statusfile.py.
