f369dd4fdd Fixed coding of a switch statement that had RETURN statements before the BREAK statements, causing compiler warnings with BCC 
Initialized the temporary date variables so that if a date in the DB is corrupt, then the variables will have a default value in them.
When data sources list box is populated, if the DB specified in the .CFG file is no longer in the list, a wxASSERT() message was generated in debug builds.  Now the program makes sure that the datasource is in the listbox's choices before trying to set the selected choice to that string

f21b2fd89d Added code to show off wxDbGrid (contributed by Paul and Roger Gammans) in wxUSE_NEW_GRID is set to 1. If grid is not enabled, the program does not compile in the wxDbGrid portion of the sample 
Fixed a bug in the SetColDef() descriptions that had the Contribs column defined as a UCHAR but the SQL data type was set to be SQL_C_SHORT when it needed to be SQL_C_UTINYINT to match the size of the UCHAR data variable
General code cleanup
TRUE/FALSE changed to true/false
Now uses new wxDbLogExtendedErrorMsg() function for reporting human readable ODBC errors

3fe813a9ad Experimental BLOB code added - set wxODBC_BLOB_EXPERIMENT to 1 in dbtest.h if you want to help work on this 
Added some more test functions that have no GUI hook yet, but will be used in wxBase buidls eventually
Fixed handling of checks for TableExists() and TablePrivileges() to use the (HOPEFULLY) now working functions.
Better exception handling when the .CFG file does not exist
Better reporting of database errors shown by example

8493118f58 Column name IS_DEVELOPER in index was shortened to IS_DEV to match the column name in the table. These names were shortened to allow use by dBase which only allows 8 character column names

Removed mor (egcs) warnings
  Updated version to 2.0.1 in version.h
  Several corrections for strict compilers
  OpenGL updates
  new wxApp::InitVisual() for overriding in order to set non-default visual
    (unportable, of course)
  Added makefiles for DialogEd and Tex2Rtf
  made wxGTK compile with Tex2Rtf
  Added BEGIN_DRAG event to tree ctrl
  Added missing #include to lexel.l (unistd.h) (MSW?)
  new wxGTK.spec
  turned one or two more #ifdef into #if

types in wxCHECK_MSG); compiles again for 16-bit Windows, though dialogs don't work;
added generic notebook implementation (copied from wxMotif); fixed event handler
arg in wxDirDialog; added preliminary wxImage reference; removed some constructors from documentation; fixed wxIniConfig compilation
