dcd96d1fa0 StringToInt rewritten. This version doesn't allocate memory for long decimals and uses percise rounding if radix 10 or a power of 2 (in other cases rounding error still may occur). Handling special values moved from Runtime_StringParseInt into StringToInt in order to make it consistent with StringToDouble.

9e76d99fb9 Percise rounding parsing octal and hexadecimal strings. 
Rounding happens when the number exceeds 53 bits of floating point mantissa. Current implemetation ignores digits after some limits. 0x1000000000000081 was rounded to 0x1000000000000100 while 0x100000000000008000001 was rounded to 0x100000000000000000000.

203ba181ad StringToDouble rewritten not using String::Get and memory allocations. 
It converts the number to "canonical" form removing insignificant digits,
leading zerroes and spaces what guarantees to fit a fixed size buffer and
does not changes result of strtod.

6a63910650 Re-apply "Inline floating point compare" 
This re-applies r4220 and r4233, which was reverted in r4254 due to a bug. This bug has now been fixed, with the only change being line 2884 changed from

  __ SmiTag(left_side->reg());

to

  __ SmiTag(operand->reg());

Added a regression test.

03089b6644 Fix code generation for fast smi loops to support parameters as well. 
This change fixes an assert we hit when we recognized a fast smi loop
with a parameter as the loop variable.

ec974ddb50 Fix bug when generating a fast smi loop. 
We may encounter an invalid frame after generating code
for the loop body in case the loop body ends in an unconditional
return. Before setting the type information for the loop variable
we need to check for a valid frame.

889cbe55b8 Fix a bug in the regexp caching. Also add a few more places to 
cache.  We now cache most of the places where Opera cache and
one or two where they do not cache for some reason.  Since
these optimizations aren't necessarily useful on real code we
may remove them if and when the Dromaeo website makes the
benchmarks harder to game.

9202e05016 Fix bug in the count operation where we statically know the input is a smi. 
Even if we know that the input to a count operation is a smi we still need to check if the result overflowed (and becomes a heap number).

Also fix the smi loop analysis to take two border cases correctly into account.

d0908674fa Fix bug in assigned variables analysis. 
Property stores were not visited correctly by the visitor.
I fixed this issue by visiting property stores by visiting 
receiver and key directly (and not calling visit on the lhs property
 ast node)

e5f27966dc Add fuzzing support for inline runtime functions 
The inline runtime functions are now included in the fuzzing of the natives. The chack for the expected number of arguments passed have been moved to the parser which will generate a syntax error if a runtime function (either C++ or inline) is called with a different number of arguments than expected.

800b6df2a6 Correct handling of adding a string and a smal integer 
The fast case of looking up the string convertion of the smi did not handle the case where left/reghe operands could be in eax/edx instead of edx/eax which is the default.

Also got rid of creating an internal frame for calling string and instead patched the argument on the stack and performed a tail call.

df4471c8f3 Fix stack tweaking in array allocation 
When Array(0) or new Array(0) is handled by the generated code it is handled
by the same code as Array() and new Array(). For this to work the stack is
tweaked to remove the argument of value 0. However the argc was still passed
as 1 if a call to the runtime system was made.

When the stack is tweaked argc is also changed to 0.

ecf4b9fc76 Refactor the check for generating inline constructors 
Moved all the logic to a function on SharedFunctionInfo (including the flag check) to make things more readable.

Changed the check for setter to do a lookup for a named setter for each of the properties assigned in the constructor.

Added tests using accessors and interseptors set through the API.

Added fast case objects to the mjsunit test.

3c0d77f32e Fix stack corruption when calling non-function. 
Fix for issue 603.

Revision r3484 removed the property name from the call stack for
call ICs.  When a non-function was called via a call IC and
Function.prototype.call, an extra value was left on the stack that the
caller could not know to clean up.

Fix is to change the JS builtin used for calling non-functions.  It
now gets the callee as receiver, rather than iterating stack frames
and finding it on the expression stack of its JS caller.

1c2b2ac9c6 Fix construction of simple objects with setters on prototype 
Simple objects which are constructed without calling the actual constructor function did not take setters defined on prototype chain of the new object into account.

Constructing objects this way is now not done if there are setters involved on the prototype chain of the new object.

This only fixes the case where the setter is found when the first object from a constructor is created. If the prototype chain is changed new objects will on take any change to setters into account.

4a2c81d3b0 Add last use data flow information to the fast code generator. 
This change add simple local live variable information to 
the fast code generator.  It supports only AST nodes that 
are accepted by the syntax checker.

Each variable use points to a variable definition structure
which contains the last use of the definition.

To determine whether a variable is live after a certain point
we can check whether its last use occurs later in the evaluation
order defined by the AST labeling number.

The new information is currently only printed out together with
the IR and not yet used for code generation.

30cf88af6b Restrict the syntax that we aggressively optimize. 
Do not use the speculative compiler for functions with other than one
statement in the body, and do not use it if subexpressions can have
side effects.  Bailing out to the beginning of the full code is not
sound if side effects have already occurred.

Add tests that would fail without the restrictions.

9b5c312bfc Initial implementation of fast path operation for bitwise OR. 
Support a binary operation (bitwise OR) so long as it's not nested in
the left subexpression.  This ensures that the expression stack never
has height greater than two and so can be kept fully in registers.

The bounded expression stack height and the absence of any side
effects on the fast path allows us to still bailout out to the very
beginning of the function if any of our fast-path checks fail.

df1df78c48 Changed fuzzer to randomly remove half of the arguments when running 
on functions that takes five or more arguments. Original version runs
for a long time when there is 5 arguments in a runtime function (45+
seconds). The fuzzer can be run with all arguments on all functions
regardless of the number of arguments by setting
RUN_WITH_ALL_ARGUMENT_ENTRIES to true in fuzz-natives.js

2f0f6face1 Fast compiler: Load globals variables directly from property cells. 
This is a first step towards loading globals directly from property cells instead
of going through a load IC.

This change supports only properties with the DontDelete attribute since
we are only able to bailout into the generic code generated by the secondary 
code generator the beginning of a function. The resulting fast-case code is 
specialized for a specific context. When invoked with a different global object, 
it will always bailout to the secondary code.

When loading a property that does not exist at compile-time or a property
that is deleteable we still generate the generic load IC.

4f179b09ba Added IsProperty() check to result in DefineOrRedefineAccessor - if no check 
this causes the debug check to fails since type() asserts that the 
lookup_type != NOT_FOUND. This does not change any functionality since we 
explicitly checked if it was one of the three types that we need to delete.
Also changed defineProperties in v8natives to actually return the object
being defined (as specified by spec)

10910394e6 Handle insertion order for simple constructors 
When functions only have simple assignments of the form this.x = ... the object is created in generated code without actually calling the constructor. In this case the initial map for the function already contains the properties assigned in the constructor. The field descriptors in this initial map now has an enumeration index assigned to make property enumeration order the insertion order. The insertion order here is the order of the this.x assignments in the code.

2a8034c8f6 Correctly set eval_from_shared value when new function is created by "new Function(...)". At the moment it's set to the native script where the Function is defined(v8natives.js) which doesn't make much sense for the user when he tries to debug his code. Moreover, it causes an exception in JSONProtocolSerializer.prototype.serialize_.

999e3fca90 Fix issue 553: function frame is skipped in profile when compare stub is called. 
The problem appeared due to a fact that stubs doesn't create a stack
frame, reusing the stack frame of the caller function. When building
stack traces, the current function is retrieved from PC, and its
callees are retrieved by traversing the stack backwards. Thus, for
stubs, the stub itself was discovered via PC, and then stub's caller's
caller was retrieved from stack.

To fix this problem, a pointer to JSFunction object is now captured
from the topmost stack frame, and is saved into stack trace log
record. Then a simple heuristics is applied whether a referred
function should be added to decoded stack, or not, to avoid reporting
the same function twice (from PC and from the pointer.)

c80cba3bcc Add the for statement back into the set of things the 
non-optimizing compiler can cope with.  By default it bails out
to the old compiler on encountering a for loop (for performance)
but with this change the --always-fast-compiler flag will enable
functions with for loops to be compiled in the non-optimizing
compiler.  Also enables the non-optimizing compiler on functions
that can be lazily compiled (again only with the flag).

562f90d375 Ensure correct boxing of values when calling functions on them 
When a function is called with a value type as the receiver this is now boxed as an object.

This is a low-impact solution where the receiver is only boxed when required. For IC calls to the V8 builtins values are not boxed and as most of the functions on String.prototype, Number.prototype and Boolean.prototype are sitting there most IC calls on values will not need any boxing of the receiver.

For calls which are not IC calls but calls through the CallFunctionStub a flag is used to determine whether the receiver might be a value and only when that is the case will the receiver be boxed.

No changtes to Function.call and Function.apply - they already boxed values. According to the ES5 spec the receiver should not be boxed for these functions, but current browsers have not adopted that change yet.

44b7c59eb5 Extend the maximum size map space 
On 32-bit the maps are now aligned on a 32-byte boundary in order to encode more maps during compacting GC. The actual size of a map on 32-bit is 28 bytes making this change waste 4 bytes per map.

On 64-bit the encoding for compacting GC is now using more than 32-bits and the maps here are still pointer size aligned. The actual size of a map on 64-bit is 48 bytes and this change does not intruduce any waste.

My choice of 16 bits for kMapPageIndexBits for 64-bit should give the same maximum number of pages (8K) for map space. As maps on 64-bit are larger than on 32-bit the total number of maps on 64-bit will be smaller than on 32-bit. We could consider raising this to 17 or 18.

I moved the kPageSizeBits to globals.h as the calculation of the encoding really depended on this.

There are still an #ifdef/#endif in objects.h and this constant could be moved to globaks.h as well, but I kept it together with the related constants.

All the tests run in debug mode with additional options --gc-global --always-compact as well (except for a few tests on which also fails before this change when run with --gc-global --always-compact).

0bf2822266 The toplevel code generator assumed that declarations did not shadow 
parameters.  This could case the initial value to be lost or worse, a
crash.

Fix by handling the case of a declaration shadowing both
stack-allocated parameters and those in the arguments object.

53fbd5932a Perform string add in generated code on IA-32 platforms 
This adds a code stub which can do most of what Heap::AllocateConsString can do. It bails out if the result cannot fit in new space or if the result is a short (flat) string and one argument is an ascii string and the other a two byte string. It also bails out if adding two one character strings as Heap::AllocateConsString has special handling of this utilizing the symbol table. The stub is used both for the binary add operation and for StringAdd calls from runtime JavaScript files. Extended the string add test to cover all sizes of flat result stings.

9bafc32932 Step next should respect do/while condition block. 
Condition block of do/while statements is a valid break location so it should have its own position. The block is represented by a regular Expression node so we cannot store the position in it, instead the position is stored in a separate field in DoWhileStatement AST node.

34dee0319c Remove the typeof state threaded through the code generator. It was 
used to signal that an expression was the immediate subexpression of
typeof, or (?) in the arm of a conditional expression itself in the
typeof state.

It was inconsistently consulted.  It was not used for property loads,
but only for slot loads.  This means that we matched the Webkit JSC
(not Spidermonkey) behavior for:

typeof(true ? x : y)  // throws ReferenceError

and we matched the SpiderMonkey behavior (not JSC) for:

with ({}) { typeof(true ? x : y) }  // ==> "undefined"

Now we are expected to match the JSC behavior in all cases.

9445079c51 Support for object literals in fast compiler. 
I also added more unit tests for literals.

Right now, the fast compiler produces code very similar to
the existing code generator. We may consider different ways to 
further compact the generated code for top-level code.

ARM always goes through a runtime function to initialize computed
properties in an object literal whereas IA32 and x64 use StoreIC.

fbc0eaa13d Added support for array literals to the toplevel compiler. They are 
currently compiled the same as with the optimizing compiler: they are
cloned from a boilerplate object and the boilerplate objects are
lazily constructed.

Also changed argument pushing on ARM to use stm (store multiple),
which required changing the order of arguments to the runtime
functions DeclareGlobals and NewClosure.  They were only used from
generated code.

Finally, changed the toplevel code generator so that stack pops to
discard a temporary became addition to the stack pointer on ia32 and
x64.

fb038bf146 Two changes, one a refactoring and one that affects V8's JS semantics. 
1. Change the AST node type CallNew to be a subclass of Expression
   rather than Call.  It's not really a call but it just happens to
   have the same fields.

2. Change our error reporting for invalid left-hand sides in for-in
   statements, pre- and postfix count expressions, and assignments.
   Before we signaled a syntax error at compile time *unless* the LHS
   was a function call or 'new' expression, in which case we signaled
   a reference error at runtime.  Now we signal a reference error at
   runtime in all cases.  This matches the JSC behavior in Safari 4.

40471b41da Fix GC bug and ARM simulator timeout. 
In the Runtime_DebugGetPropertyDetails the raw object pointers from a LookupResult could be used after a GC might have happened. Fixed the bug and restructured the code to make it less likely for changes to the code to re-introduce the bug.

Skipped a long running test from the ARM simulator in debug mode (and renamed the test).

677c043fee Handle array construction on native code. 
The construction of arrays when using the the Array function either as a constructor or a normal function is now handled fully in generated code in most cases. Only when Array is called with one argument which is either negative or abowe JSObject::kInitialMaxFastElementArray (which is currently 1000) or if the allocated object cannot fit in the room left in new space is the runtime system entered.

Two new native code built-in functions are added one for normal invocation and one for the construct call. The existing C++ builtin is renamed, but kept. When the normal invocation cannot be handled in generated code the C++ builtin is called. When the construct invocation cannot be handled in native code the generic construct stub is called (which will end up in the C++ builtin through a construct trampoline).

One thing that might be changed is preserving esi (constructor function) during the handling of a construct call. We know precisily what function we where calling anyway and can just reload it. This could remove the parameter construct_call to ArrayNativeCode and remove the handling of this from that function.

The X64 and ARM implementations are not part of this changelist.

34d6ff7606 Implemented missing pieces of the debugger for ARM. 
The main piece of this change was to add support for break on return for ARM. On ARM the normal js function return consist of the following code sequence.

to a call to the debug break return entry code using the following code sequence

The values of Assembler::kPatchReturnSequenceLength and Assembler::kPatchReturnSequenceLength are somewhat misleading, but they fit the current use in the debugger. Also Assembler::kPatchReturnSequenceLength is used in the IC code as well (for something which is not related to return sequences at all). I will change that in a separate changelist.

For the debugger to work also added recording of the return sequence in the relocation info and handling of source position recording when a function ends with a return statement.

Used the constant kInstrSize instead of sizeof(Instr).

Passes all debugger tests on both simulator and hardware (only release mode tested on hardware).

ae062d5df1 Added new scope type ScopeIterator::ScopeTypeCatch for with generated from catch blocks. 
Removed a false assertion in ScopeIterator that assumed context extension to never be a JSContextExtensionObject.

The context extension object in a 'with' context is JSContextExtensionObject iff the 'with' statement is generated from a catch block in order to extend its local scope with a variable holding exception object. This is how we differentiate 'catch' scope from 'with' scope.

ab54e95377 Support stepping in functions called using CallFunction stub. When Debug::PrepareStep is called to prepare 'step in' and current code target is CallFunction stub, the debugger will find function being called on the expression stack and flood it with one shot breakpoints. 
BreakLocationIterator changed to treat 'debugger;' statements as a possible break location. Since 'debugger;' statement should always invoke debugger it is hanled in a special way.

Added counter to see how many objects are constructed using a specialized stub.

The specialized stub is only implemented for ia32 architecture in this change.
For x64 and ARM the generic construct stub is used.

681440e273 Handle pre-allocated properties when copying map. 
When copying a map always set the descriptor array to describe the pre-allocated properties, even when descriptors are to be dropped.

Added a test which otherwise failed with an assert on ARM in debug mode. The reason for it only surfasing on ARM is that the NewObject runtime function is always used for allocating new JSObjects on ARM.

This change includes a few parts of http://codereview.chromium.org/174392 needed to trigger the error.

4e03645dc4 Analyze functions for assignment to this properties. 
During parsing functions are analyzed for statements of the form this.x = ...;. These assignments are categorized in two types: simple and non simple. The simple ones are where the right hand side is known to be either a constant or an argument to the function. If a function only contains statements of this type the property names are collected and for the simple assignments the index of the argument or the constant value assigned are stored as well.

When the initial map for a function is created and the function consists of only this type of assignemnts the initial map is created with a descriptor array describing these properties which will be known to always exist in an object created from the function.

The information on this property assignments is not collected during pre-parsing so if compiling using pre-parse data these optimization hints are not available.

Next step will be to use the information collected for the simple assignments to generate constructor code which will create and initialize the object from this information without calling the code for the function.

d87f83c5f8 Fix issue 427: JS tick processor now works out-of-the-box for Chromium on Windows. 
MSVS names '.map' file using only module's name, so both 'a.exe' and 'a.dll' will have 'a.map' file. To distinguish an originating module, we're now checking for image base which is always 00400000 for .exe files, and not 00400000 for .dlls.

Verified that windows-tick-processor can now process logs from Chromium using .map file generated for 'chrome.dll', an that it still works for V8's 'shell.exe'.

1ca19c383d Fix ARM compiler crash in short-circuited boolean expressions. 
We did not handle the case where the left-hand-side expression was
fully compiled to control flow.  There were also some assertions for
unary and binary expressions that crashed debug builds when the
expression was fully compiled to control flow.

Regression test added.

e0b829b1a5 TickProcessor: more accurate mapping of statically compiled code on Linux. 
'nm' is now called with an option to report function code sizes. Static code entries are restricted to the sizes reported, and the remaining unnamed code is attributed to a library as a whole. This makes reports more accurate, as some functions are tiny, but has chunks of unnamed code behind them.

This change doesn't affect reporting on Windows, as in .map files function code sizes aren't specified.

cba9c183a0 In Chrome several tabs may share the same v8 instance. Each of those tabs can be inspected with its own devtools window. When such devtools window closes we need to clear all breakpoints that belong to it. Notion of breakpoint group enables us to do that. 
Storing the breakpoints on the client(in a different process) would be inreliable since 1) it may crash and 2) some 'setbreakpoint' requests may be not processed yet by the time devtools window closes.

25405ddd9c Handle JavaScript accessors on the global object. 
With the new representation of the global object adding JavaScript accessors for a property after global inline caches was created for that property did not work property as the inline caches did not take the JavaScript accessor information (fixed array with two elements) that could be present in a global object property cell into account.

This is now fixed by changing the map for a global object when a JavaScript accessor is defined on it.

If Error.prepareStackTrace holds a function this function is used to
format the stack trace, for instance allowing code generators to
customize the way stack traces are reported to make them easier to
process.

Next step: performance measurements to see if it is feasible to turn
this on by default.

b898b6dfea Modify regression test. 
Because of varying floating-point precision, the slow case is hard to
test with explicit values.  Instead, we check that sine and cosine do
not return the same value (the regression was that the slow case of
cosine accidentally did sine instead of cosine).

882614391f Add scope chain information to the debugger. 
For each frame it is now possible to request information on the scope chain. Each scope in the chain can have one of the types local, global, with and closure. For scopes of type global and with the mirror for the actual global or with object is available. For scopes of type local and closure a plain JavaScript object with the materialized content of the scope is created and its mirror is returned. Depending on the level of possible optimization the content of the materialized local and closure scopes might only contain the names which are actually used.

To iterate the scope chain an iterator ScopeIterator have been added which can provide the type of each scope for each part of the chain. This iterator creates an artificial local scope whenever that is present as the context chain does not include the local scope.

To avoid caching the mirror objects for the materialized the local and closure scopes transient mirrors have been added. They have negative handles and cannot be retrieved by subsequent lookup calls. Their content is part of a single response.

For debugging purposes an additional runtime function DebugPrintScopes is been added.

Added commands 'scopes' and 'scope' to the developer shell and fixed the dir command.

d498361c5f Add more debugging information to scripts compiled through eval. 
Scripts now have a compilation type which can be host, eval or JSON. Host scripts are compiled through the API, eval scripts are compiled through call to evan and JSON scripts are compiled as a result of calling JSON.parse.

For scripts scripts compiled through eval the JavaScript function in top of the stack and the pc offset into the code is stored in the script object. This makes it possible to calculate the source position of the eval call later when requested. This information can be obtained through the script mirror object and is part of the script mirror JSON serialization for the debugger protocol.

Moved the enumeration ScripType into class Script and remamed to Type. The new compilation type enumeration is also inside the class Script.

This information is now shown when using the scripts command in he developer shell debugger.

94879a93b0 Add a script cache to the debugger 
When loaded scripts are requested this cache is filled with all the script objects in the heap. Hereafter its content is kept in sync with the active scripts in the heap through the notifications of new scripts compiled and by using weak handles to get notified when a script is collected.

Through the tracking of collected scripts the debugger event OnScriptCollected have been added to notify a debugger that a script previously returned through the scripts command is no longer in use.

Make the ComputeIntegerHash globally available.

Moved clearing of the mirror cache to when debugger is really left. Previously recursive invocations of the debugger cause the mirror cache to be cleared causing handles to become either stale or reference other objects.

aa2c33126c TickProcessor script reimplemented in JavaScript. 
This is an effort to reuse profiler data processing code both in
TickProcessor and Dev Tools Profiler. The old Python implementation
will be removed.

The new TickProcessor works almost identical to the previous one.
However, it has some differences:

1. Not very useful "Call profile" section is replaced with a new
   WebKit-like "Bottom up (heavy) profile" which shows the most
   expensive functions together with their callers. I used it
   personally in order to find and remove bottlenecks in the
   tickprocessor script itself, and found it quite helpful.

2. Code entries with duplicate names (they occur for RegExes, stubs
   and sometimes for anonymous Function objects) are now distinguished
   by adding an occurence number inside curly brackets.

3. (Address -> code entry) mapping is more precise in boundary cases.

4. Windows version no more requires specifying .map file location.

5. Works faster.

72294ca735 Change the enumeration order for unsigned integer keys to always be 
numerical order independently of the representation of the object.

Exchanged the order of enumeration of integer and string keys so
integer keys are first instead of string keys to better match
WebKit/JSC behavior.

Added test cases that document our enumeration order choice.

e9aa21849b Reimplement Splay Tree in JavaScript (and add unit tests!). 
This is the first step in reimplementing tick processing scripts in
JavaScript. The goal is to have the same source both for Dev Tools and
Golem, so Python implementation will be removed to avoid code
duplication.

The implementation follows the Dev Tools style: namespaces and JSDocs
are used.

a74fcf458c Fixed the step in handling for function.apply. 
The generic step-in mechanism floods the function called with break points to ensure a break is hit when entering the function. This generic mechanism was also used for function.apply. The code for function.apply contains a keyed load IC which was patched when stepping into function.apply. However function.apply enteres an internal frame not a JavaScript frame. This caused the logic for returning from the break in function.apply to fail as it forced a jump to the IC on the top JavaScript frame. The top JavaScript frame was the frame for the function calling function.apply not the frame for the apply function. Now returning from the break point in the keyed load IC in the apply code caused a jump to the code for the call IC for the function calling function.apply in the first place. Not a pretty sight.

Step-in now handles function.apply as a separate case where the actual JavaScript function called through apply is flodded with breakpoints instead of the function.apply function.

8dffcb9efa Flush ICs when adding setters to an object or setting a __proto__ to 
an object that holds a setter.  If there are no store ics then no
flushing is done.  The implementation has been tweaked so that no ICs
are cleared during normal context creation.
This may cost us some performance but I'm submitting it as it is and
if there are problems we can either decide to be smarter about when,
what and/or how we clear, or back this change out altogether.

9d17b0d4c8 Whenever a script object is created it is assigned a unique id. Currently this id is assigned from an 32 bit integer counter. 
Changed the script break points to be able to handle both break points based on script names and script ids. When break points are set through a script id the position is relative to the script itself. This is different from the script break points set through script names where the line/coulmn offset is taken into account.

This has the side effect that function break points are not converted into script break points for named scripts.

Show the script id in the D8 shell debugger when listing all scripts using the 'scripts' command.

Sharing the code to unlink the exception handler for a try/finally
causes us to try to merge virtual frames with different heights (due
to statements that keep state on the stack) at the entry to the unlink
code.

Avoid this by unlinking the handler separately for each exit from the
try block.

5c32385a70 Change the tests which looks at the number of scripts in the VM after startup to ignore native scripts without name. 
Native scripts without name are currently only the script holding the empty script and the script holding the source for the empty function. These two unnamed scripts are created for each context. When running with snapshot an additional context is created during startup adding two more native scripts that in the non-snapshot case.

747e20c449 Mark the empty script object, the script for the empty function and the D8 utility script as native scripts. 
This is mainly to avoid these scripts showing up in the debugger when showing normal scripts.

Removed the check for the empty script in the debugger function returning loaded scripts as this check only filtered out the empty script from the debugger context and not empty scripts in all other contexts. Also this filter did not take the script for the empty function into account.

Due to constant folding of loop conditions, it is possible to have a
try/finally with no exits from the try block (eg, an infinite loop in
the try block).  In that case the code to unlink the try handler is
dead and should not be emitted.

e9e8628380 Revert revisions 1383, 1384, 1391, 1398, 1401, 1402, 
1418, and 1419 from bleeding_edge until we have a fix
for the crashers we see on the distributed test infra-
structure.

We know that revision 1383 is causing issues, but I 
had to revert some of the other recent RegExp changes
in order to get this part out.

cf3c1a8c18 Arrays created with new Array(n) are not assumed to be sparse unless the given 
size is truly huge.  A test had to be modified slightly so as not to be too slow.

5b8c63f9d5 Avoids allocating a JSArray of capture information on each non-global
