ff3e84ffdc File/dir dialog styles and other changes (patch 1488371): 
- check invalid combinations of styles in wxFileDialogBase::Create()
- use wxFD_XXX naming convention for wxFileDialog styles
- replaces wxDD_NEW_DIR_BUTTON with wxDD_DIR_MUST_EXIST
- removes #ifdef __WXGTK24__ / #endif blocks from wxGTK code
- removes wxFileDialogBase::Get/SetStyle and wxFileDialogBase::m_fileName
- renames wxDirDialogGTK to wxDirDialog

ef1717a963 wxDisplay cleanup/rewrite: 
- wxDisplay is now a concrete class and uses a pImpl-based design
- got rid of four duplicate but subtly different versions of trivial
  single display-only wxDisplay implementation (but 2 versions of Mac
  Classic and Mac CoreGraphics implementations each still remain...)
- assorted code simplifications and memory leaks fixes

63ec432bd7 Move constant strings to .rodata/.data.rel.ro ELF segment from .data by making them really const. 
If any more exotic toolchain decides to not export these strings into the core library anymore, let me know. Try to
compile the notebook sample, for example.
TODO: Move strings not meant for wxCore out of wxCore to the appropriate library.

3b60ea2f22 Make wxToolBar accept first mouse clicks. That is, clicking on a toolbar 
tool when the window is inactive will both activate the window and cause
the tool to be clicked.
TODO: User should be provided a way to override this behavior.  The Apple HIG
are basically that "dangerous" tools (like delete) should not function
on an inactive window.

acb96ac277 Add EndDialog helper which calls EndModal with the given return code if the 
dialog is modal, and Show(false) if the dialog is not modal.  This allows
the default handlers for OK and Cancel to function without assertions.
This code is copied more or less directly from src/msw/dialog.cpp.

c6179a847d 1. added SetSelection() to wxItemContainer and removed its declarations 
from derived classes
2. made wxItemContainer::Select() non virtual: it simply calls SetSelection()
3. renamed wxListBox::SetSelection(n, select) to DoSetSelection() for all
   ports and defined non virtual SetSelection() overloads in the base class
   to avoid virtual functions hiding

3e21fc053d Moved Clear() implementation into wxDC using a new virtual CocoaGetBounds() 
to determine the rect to clear.  Also added CocoaUnapplyTransformations()
to bring the coordinate system back into Cocoa coordinates for those
cases such as Clear() where it makes more sense.

4db3c8ac63 Separate NSAffineTransform creation out of wxDC::CocoaApplyTransform into 
static wxDC::CocoaGetWxToBoundsTransform.  Create the transform and store
it as a member variable in wxDC when focus is locked on the DC.
For wxClientDC and wxPaintDC call a new wxWindow::CocoaGetWxToBoundsTransform
which will eventually handle scrolling.

34c9978dac Add new methods to transform coordinates expressed in Cocoa's bounds rect to 
and from those expressed in wxWidgets fashion.  Use these new methods to do
the translation for mouse events, child window position, and dirty rects.
Also improve DoMoveWindow to only dirty the old and new rects of the
control within its superview rather than the entire superview.

e2eafeff03 Implement toolbar tool clicks. Get rid of wxNSActionCell stuff because 
Cells send their action from the view anyway so we'd have no way of knowing
which tool was clicked.

* Get rid of pragma interface/implementation. Apple GCC dislikes them anyway.
* Allow source file to use precompiled headers (wx/wxprec.h)
* Include only needed AppKit/Foundation headers, not AppKit/AppKit.h.
* Implement simple constructors inline in header.
* Get rid of m_sndname and m_waveLength instance variables.  They aren't used.
* Add copy constructor (why not).
* Move implementation of byte-array constructor into LoadWAV for consistency
  with UNIX wxSound.
* LoadWAV (what was in the constructor) now properly allocs, inits, and
  releases NSData.  The old code for this was not valid.
* Rename lastSound to s_currentSound.
* Rename isLastSoundLooping to s_loopCurrentSound.
* Ignore the sound:didFinishPlaying: delegate message if it is received
  for an NSSound other than s_currentSound.
* Create should not Stop the current sound.
* Don't use NSBundle to get a resource sound but use [NSSound soundNamed:]
  which will include system sounds.
* Playing a sound synchronously uses wxEventLoop::Dispatch which will
  really block (not spin the CPU like Yield).  The sound is considered
  finished playing when s_currentSound is set to something else.  In order
  to make sure we don't get stuck in this event loop the delegate
  calls wxApp::WakeUpIdle if it releases s_currentSound.
* Have IsPlaying() check to make sure s_currentSound is not nil since
  only messages returning another object or void are allowed to be
  sent to nil objects.

Changes involving retain/release
* Get rid of comment about tricky API, it's not.
* Get rid of isLastSoundInScope. Cocoa has proper reference counting.
* Add SetNSSound which, like the rest of wxCocoa, retains/releases
  appropriately, sets the delegate, and logs when WXTRACE=COCOA_RetainRelease.
* Destructor does SetNSSound(nil) which will always release the NSSound.
  Create and LoadWAV use SetNSSound method like the rest of wxCocoa.
* Make the delegate always release s_currentSound if not (or if done) looping.
  DoPlay sets s_currentSound to m_cocoaNSSound after retaining it so that
  the delegate can always safely release it.
* Stop, like everything else, does not need check of isLastSoundInScope

4fca6ee1a6 Removed some extraneous whitespace. 
Changed YES/NO to true/false; do not confuse BOOL (Objective-C) with bool (C++).
Changed some of the indentation to match that the rest of wxCocoa.

There was an if (isLastSoundInScope = NO) which I think was wrong not only
because it used NO rather than false but also because it's an assignment
rather than a test.  Changed it to if (!isLastSoundInScope).

d04995b3a6 Use wxObjcAutoRefFromAlloc for sm_cocoaTarget. 
Move some processing code from wxMenuItemAction to CocoaItemSelected.
Add Cocoa_validateMenuItem and use it instead of calling IsEnabled directly.
Do not set the target or action for wxMenuItem that open submenus.

af8491078d Change m_windowCurrent to m_currentNSWindow such that m_currentNSWindow is 
never used directly but only to look up the associated wxCocoaNSWindow.
If the wxCocoaNSWindow cannot be found later in UpdateMenuBar then it's
likely been destroyed but no crash will result as before.

3e84f98ffa wxMenuBarManager::InstallMenuBarForWindow no longer looks for a menubar 
attached to the parent of a window without one.  Instead, it is now up to
the GetAppMenuBar() function to do so.  The new implementation in
wxTopLevelWindow does just that.  The wxFrame implementation now calls
the base class version if it does not have a menubar.  Also, it is now
invalid to call the function with a NULL window (it is internal anyway).

adb4816c3e Added machinery to Enable/Disable windows. When a window is disabled, it 
disables all of its children.  Every window maintains a bool indicating
whether it should be enabled (i.e. Enable() was called on it directly).
When a window is reenabled, it reenables children, but only if they are
actually supposed to be enabled. Override CocoaSetEnabled() in subclasses
to actually enable/disable a Cocoa control.

d139c3a84b Added helper functions for setting initial window size: 
* inline MakeDefaultNSRect makes an NSRect with position (10.0,10.0) and
  size based on the size passed to Create run through (Width|Height)Default
  This NSRect is to be used with the initWithFrame: initializer.
* SetInitialFrameRect is called after the window has been added to its parent
  and (if applicable) sized to fit.  If -1 is specified for a dimension then
  the fit/default size is kept.  If not, the window is sized to the specified
  size. It will be positioned in wxWindows coordinates (0,0==TL).
