0ff7b4830c Implement immutable prototype chains
This patch implements "immutable prototype exotic objects" from the ECMAScript
spec, which are objects whose __proto__ cannot be changed, but are not otherwise
frozen. They are introduced in order to prevent a Proxy from being introduced
to the prototype chain of the global object.

The API is extended by a SetImmutablePrototype() call in ObjectTemplate, which
can be used to vend new immutable prototype objects. Additionally, Object.prototype
is an immutable prototype object.

In the implementation, a new bit is added to Maps to say whether the prototype is
immutable, which is read by SetPrototype. Map transitions to the immutable prototype
state are not saved in the transition tree because the main use case is just for
the prototype chain of the global object, which there will be only one of per
Context, so no need to take up the extra word for a pointer in each full transition
tree.

bdc78957e5 Fix Object.prototype.toString() when @@toStringTag is not a string.
ES2017 draft 19.1.3.6: If @@toStringTag is not a string, Object.prototype.toString()
returns [object Object], except in the following cases:
 - Array
 - String
 - Arguments
 - Function
 - Error
 - Boolean
 - Number
 - Date
 - RegExp.

For anything else, e.g., Maps, Sets, TypedArrays, or the global object, toString() returns
[object Object] if @@toStringTag is absent or not a string. In order to be able to
easily identify the global object in d8, we set @@toStringTag to "global"
for d8.

7a3150d13d Make String::CanMakeExternal ignore the length of new strings.
It is expected that temporarily used strings die while they are
in new heap. So we can avoid to pay a heavy cost to externalize
them. If they are used for times, externalization will happen
when they move to an old heap.

06403470e3 Remove --harmony-regexps flag
It's been on since M49. Also moved tests from harmony -> es6,
one of which was merged with another test of the same name.

While moving stuff over to regexp.js, I also noticed that there
were unused calls to %FunctionSetName and %SetNativeFlag (those
calls are already handled by InstallGetter()).

da213b6e37 [api] Make ObjectTemplate::SetNativeDataProperty() work even if the ObjectTemplate does not have a constructor.
Previously ObjectTemplate::New() logic relied on the fact that all the accessor properties are already installed in the initial map of the function object of the constructor FunctionTemplate.
When the FunctionTemplate were instantiated the accessors of the instance templates from the whole inheritance chain were accumulated and added to the initial map.
ObjectTemplate::SetSetAccessor() used to explicitly ensure that the ObjectTemplate has a constructor and therefore an initial map to add all accessors to.

The new approach is to add all the accessors and data properties to the object exactly when the ObjectTemplate is instantiated. In order to keep it fast we now cache the object boilerplates in the Isolate::template_instantiations_cache (the former function_cache), so the object creation turns to be a deep copying of the boilerplate object.

ed2be747ad Array length reduction should throw in strict mode if it can't delete an element.
When accessor getter callback is called the v8::PropertyCallbackInfo::ShouldThrowOnError() is always false, since according to ES6 there's no difference between strict and non-strict property loads. For the setter case the v8::PropertyCallbackInfo::ShouldThrowOnError() returns true if the property is set in strict context.

Interceptors follow same idea: for getter, enumerator and query callbacks the v8::PropertyCallbackInfo::ShouldThrowOnError() is always false, and for setter and deleter callback the v8::PropertyCallbackInfo::ShouldThrowOnError() returns true in strict context.

This CL also cleans up the CallApiGetterStub and removes bogus asserts from [arm] Push(reg1, reg2, ..., regN) that prevented from pushing a set of registers containing duplicates.

1d3e837fcb Array length reduction should throw in strict mode if it can't delete an element.

97def8070c [runtime] Introduce dedicated JSBoundFunction to represent bound functions.
According to the ES2015 specification, bound functions are exotic
objects, and thus don't need to be implemented as JSFunctions. So
we introduce a new JSBoundFunction type to represent bound functions
and make them optimizable. This already improves the performance of
calling or constructing bound functions by 10-100x depending on the
use case because we avoid the crazy dance between JavaScript and C++
that was implemented in v8natives.js previously.

There's still room for improvement in the performance of actually
creating bound functions, which is also relevant in practice, but
we already have a plan how to accomplish that later.

The mips/mips64 ports were contributed by akos.palfi@imgtec.com.

3e7e3ed726 [stubs] A new approach to TF stubs
* Add a sibling interface to InterpreterAssembler called
  CodeStubAssembler which provides a wrapper around the
  RawMachineAssembler and is intented to make it easy to build
  efficient cross-platform code stubs. Much of the implementation
  of CodeStubAssembler is shamelessly stolen from the
  InterpreterAssembler, and the idea is to eventually merge the
  two interfaces somehow, probably moving the
  InterpreterAssembler interface over to use the
  CodeStubAssembler. Short-term, however, the two interfaces
  shall remain decoupled to increase our velocity developing the
  two systems in parallel.
* Implement the StringLength stub in TurboFan with the new
  CodeStubAssembler. Replace and remove the old Hydrogen-stub
  version.
* Remove a whole slew of machinery to support JavaScript-style
  code stub generation, since it ultimately proved unwieldy,
  brittle and baroque. This cleanup includes removing the shared
  code stub context, several example stubs and a tangle of build
  file changes.

89e859fb2b [V8] Unify get function name for debugging purpose
Following logic is using for getting function name in JSFunction::GetDebugName:
1. if function has displayName and its type is string then use it
2. if function has defined property Function.name as value and its type string then use it
3. otherwise use SharedFunctionInfo::DebugName as functionName.

JSFunction::GetDebugName is exposed in V8 API and in FunctionMirror interface.

24ff30b740 [es6] refactor Promise resolution
Several changes are included here:

1. Each resolution callback references shared data indicating whether
it has already been resolved or not, as described in 25.4.1.3
http://tc39.github.io/ecma262/#sec-createresolvingfunctions.
Previously this was handled exclusively by the Promise's status,
which does not work correctly with the current chaining behaviour.

2. During fulfillment, When a Promise is resolved with a thenable, the
spec chains the promises together by invoking the thenable's `then`
function with the original Promise's resolve and reject methods (per
section 25.4.2.2, or
http://tc39.github.io/ecma262/#sec-promiseresolvethenablejob, on the
next tick, regardless of whether or not there are pending tasks.

3. Adds a spec compliance fix to ensure that the Promise constructor
is only loaded once when `then()` is called, solving v8:4539 as well.
This involves refactoring PromiseChain to accept a constructor
argument. PromiseChain/PromiseDeferred will hopefully be removed soon,
simplifying the process.

b436635ac4 Update to ES2015 == semantics for Symbol/SIMD wrappers
When == is invoked on a Symbol or SIMD vector and an object, the object should
be converted to a primitive with ToPrimitive and then compared again. This means,
for example, that for a Symbol or SIMD vector s, s == Object(s). This patch makes
that change in the implementation of ==. Only the runtime function needed to be
changed, as the code stubs and compiler specializations don't operate on Symbols
or SIMD vectors, and on these types, a fallback to the runtime function is always
used.

1ee712ab86 Add SetAbortOnUncaughtExceptionCallback API
The --abort-on-uncaught-exception command line switch makes
Isolate::Throw abort if the error being thrown cannot be caught by a
try/catch block.

Embedders may want to use other mechanisms than try/catch blocks to
handle uncaught exceptions. For instance, Node.js has "domain" objects
that have error handlers that can handle uncaught exception like
following:

var d = domain.create();

d.on('error', function onError(err) {
  console.log('Handling error');
});

d.run(function() {
  throw new Error("boom");
});

These error handlers are called by isolates' message listeners.

If --abort-on-uncaught-exception is *not* used, the isolate's
message listener will be called, which will in turn call the domain's
error handler. The process will output 'Handling error' and will exit
successfully (not due to an uncaught exception). This is the behavior
that Node.js users expect.

However, if --abort-on-uncaught-exception is used and when throwing an
error within a domain that has an error handler, the process will abort
and the domain's error handler will not be called. This is not the
behavior that Node.js users expect.

Having a SetAbortOnUncaughtExceptionCallback API allows embedders to
determine when it's not appropriate to abort and instead handle the
exception via the isolate's message listener.

In the example above, Node.js would set a custom callback with
SetAbortOnUncaughtExceptionCallback that would be implemented as
following (the sample code has been simplified to remove what's not
relevant to this change):

bool ShouldAbortOnUncaughtException(Isolate* isolate) {
  return !IsDomainActive();
}

Now when --abort-on-uncaught-exception is used, Isolate::Throw would
call that callback and determine that it should not abort if a domain
with an error handler is active. Instead, the isolate's message listener
would be called and the error would be handled by the domain's error
handler.

I believe this can also be useful for other embedders.

8a378f46d5 [es6] Initial steps towards a correct implementation of IsCallable.
This turns the has_instance_call_handler bit on Map into an is_callable
bit, that matches the spec definition of IsCallable (i.e. instances have
[[Call]] internal methods).

Also fix the typeof operator to properly say "function" for everything
that is callable.

Also remove the (unused) premature %_GetPrototype optimization from
Crankshaft, which just complicated the Map bit swap.

Furthermore, each GC invocation can be passed the GC and GCCallback flags. We

b7cf73271d Signal a blocked futex if the isolate is interrupted; don't busy-wait
FutexEmulation::Wait can potentially block forever on a condition variable. We
want to allow this to be interrupted (for a debugger, or to terminate the
thread, for example).

The previous implementation would periodically wake up the waiter to check for
interrupts. This CL modifies the StackGuard so it wakes the blocked futex if
the thread should be interrupted.

e8752eb9ce Debugger: fix crash when debugger is enabled between parsing and compiling.
The background parser checks for debugger state in its constructor. This
is not good enough, since the debugger state may change afterwards, but
before compiling takes place. As the background parser can only parse
lazily, this could mean that due to debugging, we try to eagerly compile
an inner function we have not eagerly parsed.

Additionally, two more tests required modification to account for

a1475dae5d Create a internal native context used only for TF-generated code stubs
Until now, TF-generated code stubs piggy-backed off of the builtin
context. Since generation of code stubs is lazy, stubs generated at
different times in different native contexts would contain embedded
pointers different builtin contexts, leading to cross-context references
and memory leaks.

After this CL, all TF-generated code stubs are generated inside a
internal thinned-out, native context that lives solely for the
purpose of hosting generated code stubs.

`WriteUtf16Slow` should not assume that the output buffer has enough
bytes to hold both words of surrogate pair. It should pass the number of

`Utf8DecoderBase::Reset`. Otherwise it will attempt to write the trail
uint16_t past the buffer boundary, leading to memory corruption and
possible crash.

3997ae1b46 Remove deprecated v8::Object::TurnOnAccessCheck() from the V8 API.
The only right way to enable access checks is to install access check callbacks on an object template via v8::ObjectTemplate::SetAccessCheckCallbacks(). It does not make sense to enable access checks on an arbitrary object.

5c278f632c Minor performance improvements to the LookupIterator
This change changes bootstrapping semantics for intercepted global objects. Unlike before, we'll now also call into the interceptor during bootstrapping. This affects properties loaded from within the runtime, such as global.Array and global.Symbol. The embedder will need to make sure that those values are the expected values during bootstrapping.

df47224028 Expose Map/Set methods through the API
Map: get, set, has, delete, clear
Set: add, has, delete, clear

All except clear are implemented as calls into collection.js.

Note that some of these shadow methods of v8::Object. It's unclear
how confusing that's going to be: on the one hand, it seems likely
that most operations you would want to do on a Map or Set are these.
On the other, generic code could get confused if it somehow gets
ahold of a variable that happens to be C++-typed as a v8::Map or v8::Set.

bd219a7601 Add extras test for calling into runtime.
The alternative of passing an object template at context creation is
unfeasible because we need a context to instantiate the template.
At the time we create the context from snapshot or bootstrap from
scratch, we would already need that template instance, leading to a
chicken-and-egg problem.

This is an alternative that is simpler and less intrusive.

eca5b5d7ab Move hash code from hidden string to a private symbol
* Hash code is now just done with a private own symbol instead of the hidden string, which predates symbols.
* In the long run we should do all hidden properties this way and get rid of the
hidden magic 0-length string with the zero hash code. The advantages include
less complexity and being able to do things from JS in a natural way.
* Initially, the performance of weak set regressed, because it's a little harder
to do the lookup in C++. Instead of heroics in C++ to make things faster I
moved some functionality into JS and got the performance back. JS is supposed to be good at looking up named properties on objects.
* This also changes hash codes of Smis so that they are always Smis.

Performance figures are in the comments to the code review. Summary: Most of js-perf-test/Collections is neutral. Set and Map with object keys are 40-50% better. WeakMap is -5% and WeakSet is +9%. After the measurements, I fixed global proxies, which cost 1% on most tests and 5% on the weak ones :-(.

In the code review comments is a patch with an example of the heroics we could do in C++ to make lookup faster (I hope we don't have to do this. Instead of checking for the property, then doing a new lookup to insert it, we could do one lookup and handle the addition immediately). With the current benchmarks above this buys us nothing, but if we go back to doing more lookups in C++ instead of in stubs and JS then it's a win.

In a similar vein we could give the magic zero hash code to the hash code
symbol. Then when we look up the hash code we would sometimes see the table
with all the hidden properties. This dual use of the field for either the hash
code or the table with all hidden properties and the hash code is rather ugly,
and this CL gets rid of it. I'd be loath to bring it back. On the benchmarks quoted above it's slightly slower than moving the hash code lookup to JS like in this CL.

One worry is that the benchmark results above are more monomorphic than real
world code, so may be overstating the performance benefits of moving to JS. I
think this is part of a general issue we have with handling polymorphic code in
JS and any solutions there will benefit this solution, which boils down to
regular property access. Any improvement there will lift all boats.

aff8ebb0eb Implement SharedArrayBuffer.
This adds a new external type (v8::SharedArrayBuffer) that uses a JSArrayBuffer
under the hood. It can be distinguished from an ArrayBuffer by the newly-added
is_shared() bit.

Currently there is no difference in functionality between a SharedArrayBuffer
and an ArrayBuffer. However, a future CL will add the Atomics API, which is
only available on an SharedArrayBuffer. All non-atomic accesses are identical
to ArrayBuffer accesses.

ad547cea05 Add the concept of a V8 extras exports object
Exposed to the extras as extrasExports (on the builtins object), on
which they can put things that should be accessible from C++. Exposed
to C++ through the V8 API as v8::Context::GetExtrasExportsObject().

Adding a test (in test-api.cc) required adding a simple extra,
test-extra.js, which we build into the standalone builds.
