a668cd6fc8 Context deoptimization and removal of the deoptimization block in Turbofan
This adds context deoptimization to Turbofan and Crankshaft (also submitted separately as https://codereview.chromium.org/515723004/).

The second patchset removes the deoptimization/continuation block from calls.

dfda8950de More PNaCL fixes (without GYP/Makefile tweaks)
This is basically https://codereview.chromium.org/513923005/ with a
few changes:

   * Makefile.nacl and v8.gyp are untouched.

   * MAP_NORESERVE-handling is more defensive.

   * Added ugly busy-wait emulation of sem_timedwait.

496697df4e Add MachineSignature, which is an encapsulation of the machine types for parameters and return values in a graph.
This utility will be used to simplify Linkage and fix representation inference
to work with graphs where parameters and return values are something other
than tagged. It will also make testing representation inference a lot
easier, since we can then exactly nail down the machine types of parameters
and returns.

This CL also adds c-signature.h, which demonstrates how to convert C function
signatures into MachineSignatures. The CSignatures will be used in tests to
make it easier and simpler to codegen tests.

e7817a9e54 Remove dependency from generic lowering on compilation info for determining strictness and builtins.
This makes the graphs compositional for inlining (i.e. we can now inline a strict function into a non-strict function, or vice versa).

1) Store strict mode as parameter in StoreNamed/StoreProperty.

6bbf6c5cb0 Schedule floating control.
This CL makes several changes to the scheduling algorithm to handle control
flow that is not connected to End. Such control nodes constitute "floating
control islands" that must be linearized by the schedule. This is done
by considering such nodes to be schedulable, and then editing the control
dependencies after a first pass of scheduling. Then a subsequent pass of
scheduling will place all nodes correctly into the fully connected graph.

90c8932596 Replace our homegrown ARRAY_SIZE() with Chrome's arraysize().
Our own ARRAY_SIZE() was pretty bad at error checking. If you use
arrasize() in a wrong way, the compiler will issue an error instead of
silently doing the wrong thing. The previous ARRAY_SIZE() macro is still
available as ARRAYSIZE_UNSAFE() similar to Chrome.

d8295050d2 Fix deoptimization address patching in Turbofan to use safepoints.
Since the deopt patch address needs to be available during GC to
resolve safepoints, we need to move it to the code object (instead of
the deoptimization input data) - accessing a separate fixed array
is not safe during GC. This CL adds a deoptimization_pc field to
each safepoint. The fields points to the deoptimization block.

The CL also fixes wrong register allocator constraints for
frame states on calls. These should always live on the stack
because registers are not preserved during a call.

b80e76841e Remove a brittle assertion from Turbofan lazy deoptimization handling.
As discussed in person with Benedikt, it is better to remove the assertion because it is too brittle. The assertion says that the continuation block should immediately follow the call. However, there are exceptions - such as nop or constant pool in-between being fine - that make the assertion brittle.

670df5063b Implement representation selection as part of SimplifiedLowering. Representation selection also
requires inserting explicit representation change nodes to be inserted in the graph. Such nodes
are pure, but also need to be lowered to machine operators. They need to be scheduled first, to
determine the control input for any branches inside.

This CL requires extensive testing. More tests to follow.

a42612b4a7 Change ScriptCompiler::CompileOptions to allow for two 'cache' modes
(parser or code) and to be explicit about cache consumption or production
(rather than making presence of cached_data imply one or the other.)

Also add a --cache flag to d8, to allow testing the functionality.

-----------------------------
API change

Reason: Currently, V8 supports a 'parser cache' for repeatedly executing the same script. We'd like to add a 2nd mode that would cache code, and would like to let the embedder decide which mode they chose (if any).

Note: Previously, the 'use cached data' property was implied by the presence of the cached data itself. (That is, kNoCompileOptions and source->cached_data != NULL.) That is no longer sufficient, since the presence of data is no longer sufficient to determine /which kind/ of data is present.

Changes from old behaviour:

- If you previously didn't use caching, nothing changes.
Example:
  v8::CompileUnbound(isolate, source, kNoCompileOptions);

- If you previously used caching, it worked like this:

  - 1st run:
  v8::CompileUnbound(isolate, source, kProduceToCache);
  Then, source->cached_data would contain the
  data-to-be cached. This remains the same, except you
  need to tell V8 which type of data you want.
  v8::CompileUnbound(isolate, source, kProduceParserCache);

  - 2nd run:
  v8::CompileUnbound(isolate, source, kNoCompileOptions);
  with source->cached_data set to the data you received in
  the first run. This will now ignore the cached data, and
  you need to explicitly tell V8 to use it:
  v8::CompileUnbound(isolate, source, kConsumeParserCache);
-----------------------------

aa7198dfdd This CL simplifies var / const by ensuring the behavior is consistent in itself, and with regular JS semantics; between regular var/const and eval-ed var/const.
Legacy const is changed so that a declaration declares a configurable, but non-writable, slot, and the initializer reconfigures it (when possible) to non-configurable non-writable. This avoids the need for "the hole" as marker value in JSContextExtensionObjects and GlobalObjects. Undefined is used instead.

70da8959bc Implement handling of arrow functions in the parser
Arrow functions are parsed from ParseAssignmentExpression(). Handling the
parameter list is done by letting ParseConditionalExpression() parse a comma
separated list of identifiers, and it returns a tree of BinaryOperation nodes
with VariableProxy leaves, or a single VariableProxy if there is only one
parameter. When the arrow token "=>" is found, the VariableProxy nodes are
passed to ParseArrowFunctionLiteral(), which will then skip parsing the
paramaeter list. This avoids having to rewind when the arrow is found and
restart parsing the parameter list.

Note that the empty parameter list "()" is handled directly in
ParsePrimaryExpression(): after is has consumed the opening parenthesis,
if a closing parenthesis follows, then the only valid input is an arrow
function. In this case, ParsePrimaryExpression() directly calls
ParseArrowFunctionLiteral(), to avoid needing to return a sentinel value
to signal the empty parameter list. Because it will consume the body of
the arrow function, ParseAssignmentExpression() will not see the arrow
"=>" token as next, and return the already-parser expression.

The implementation is done in ParserBase, so it was needed to do some
additions to ParserBase, ParserTraits and PreParserTraits. Some of the
glue code can be removed later on when more more functionality is moved
to ParserBase.

Additionally, this adds a runtime flag "harmony_arrow_functions"
(disabled by default); enabling "harmony" will enable it as well.

7367720daa Implement handling of arrow functions in the parser
Arrow functions are parsed from ParseAssignmentExpression. Handling the
parameter list is done by letting ParseConditionalExpression() parse
a comma-separated list of identifiers, and it returns a tree of
BinaryOperation nodes with VariableProxy leaves, or a single
VariableProxy if there is only one parameter. When the arrow token "=>"
is found, the VariableProxy nodes are passed to ParseFunctionLiteral(),
which will then skip parsing the paramaeter list. This avoids having
to rewind when the arrow is found and restart parsing the parameter
list. Note that ParseExpression() expects parenthesized expressions
to not be empty, so checking for a closing parenthesis is added in
handling the empty parameter list "()" will accept a right-paren and
return an empty expression, which means that the parameter list is
empty.

Additionally, this adds the following machinery:

 - A runtime flag "harmony_arrow_functions" (disabled by default).
   Enabling "harmony" will enable it as well.
 - An IsArrow bit in SharedFunctionInfo, and accessors for it.
 - An IsArrow bit in FunctionLiteral, accessorts for it, and
   a constructor parameter to set its value.
 - In ParserBase: allow_arrow_functions() and set_allow_arrow_functions()
 - A V8 native %FunctionIsArrow(), which is used to skip adding the
   "function " prefix when getting the source code for an arrow
   function.

ca16bb7ae2 Split out libplatform into a separate libary
Also remove the "use default platform" compile flag. Instead, the embedder
has to provide the platform.

Change all binaries to use the default platfrom from libplatform.

Unless --job-based-sweeping is passed, nothing uses the platform yet, so
nothing will break for embedders (yet).

a1dd1a262c Revert "Remove special ExecutableAccessorInfo handling based on flag"
Temporarily reverting until we figure out how to handle the API cases that use accessors to lazily compute values.
dataAttributeGetterCustom in V8MessageEventCustom (at least) overwrites itself with the computed value using ForceSet. We can either force such clients to first use ForceDelete before caching, use some other caching mechanism; or provide an API for lazily computed properties.

97c962c255 Add support for extended constant pool arrays.
This CL adds support for ConstantPoolArrays which contain an extended section.
This will be used to enable larger constant pools than can be addressed by a
single ldr with immediate offset instruction (which has a limit of a 4KB range).
Extended constant pools will have a small section, which is addressable via a
single ldr instruction, and an extended section, which will require a multi-
instruction sequence to load from.

Currently, no code uses the extended ConstantPoolArray's - this change will
be made in a followup CL.

A number of changes are made to the ConstantPoolArray object in order to
support this:
  - Small section layout is now entirely defined by the small layout bitmaps.
  - The ConstantPoolArray no longer extends FixedArrayBase since the length
    field is not useful for extended layouts.
  - Enums are used to represent the type of an entry and the layout section.
  - An iterator can be used to iterate through all elements of a given type.
  - A number of tests were added for these features.

60a71d8a8c Remove PROHIBITS_OVERWRITING as it is subsumed by non-configurable properties.
v8::DontDelete is set for Unforgeable properties, so just not setting PROHIBITS_OVERWRITING should be enough.

The secondary "feature" of not allowing accessors to be installed in extending objects is incorrect and confusing, given that it only applies to accessors but not to regular properties:
Object.defineProperty({__proto__:window}, "location", { value: 10 })
works where
Object.defineProperty({__proto__:window}, "location", { get: function() {} })
doesn't work.

20eeff9ae4 Allow microtasks to throw exceptions and handle them gracefully
If the embedder calls V8::TerminateExecution while we're running microtasks, bail out
and clear any pending microtasks.

All other exceptions are simply swallowed. No current Blink or V8 microtasks throw, this
just ensures something sane happens if another embedder decides to pass a throwing
microtask (or if ours unexpectedly throw due to, e.g., stack exhaustion).

7ac892c8bd Establish distributivity for type union & intersection
This requires introducing proper bounds on all leaf types, so that intersection between bitsets and these types can be accurately represented. Extending a union also becomes more involved.

(On the upside, the modified union/intersect algorithm would now allow support for proper variance for function types.)

Not sure if it is worth landing this. Distributivity isn't really a crucial property for our use cases. It seems fine if intersection is slightly lossy.

4a47cc5f63 Inobject slack tracking is done on a per-closure basis instead of per-shared info basis.
This fixes inobject slack tracking for prototype inheritance pattern that uses closures.

3d0bf69cd8 Attempt no. 3 to fix Heap::IsHeapIterable and HeapIterator.
Now we remember new space's top pointer after the last GC to find out if there was a new space allocation since the last GC.

Unfortunately, this not completely safe - the debugger has a callback hook (that can call to JS) at the end of the GC epilogue that can in theory allocate and possibly make the heap non-iterable. We can only hope this does not happen.

a7e816db28 Introduce a separate event for CodeDeopt
The reuse of CodeCreateEvent for deopt events caused a CodeCreateEvent
fired twice for a code object. When the event was processed for the first
time it seized the no-fp-ranges from code object, so the second event
had no ranges info leaving code entry without them.
As a result when a cpu profile sample falls into the region it missed the
2nd stack frame.

dd4c82bbb3 Fix Heap::IsHeapIterable.
We only consider heap iterable if the new space is empty (in addition to the exisiting old space check).

The change also moves the iterability forcing + allocation prevention gadgets to HeapIterator so that it is impossible to miss them when iterating the heap.
