d8a0a1c930 Fixed problems with the wxDb::Open(wxDb *copyDb) not copying in all the different data types required values 
Added Interbase database support based on contributions from Roger Gammans
Enabled the wxDb::TablePrivileges() function for v2.3/2.4
Fixed a bunch of problems with wxDb::TablePrivileges() not working correctly with all databases.
Added the ability to pass in a SCHEMA to wxDbTablePrivileges() that greatly improves the speed of the privileges lookup.

f02d4a64a1 Added what I think is full support for Null column values in the tables, partially based on submissions by Roger Gammans 
Added a parameters to wxDbTable::Open() to indicate whether Open() should check for table privileges or not.
wxDbTable::ClearMemberVar() added to set a single column to an initialized value
::ClearMemberVar() and ::ClearMemberVars() can now optionally set a column to be NULL via ::SetColNull()
::SetColNull() added as the primary function name for setting a column to be a NULL value, and ::SetNull() is deprecated
::SetColNull() now has a param to select whether a columns value is NULL or not.
::SetColNull() will now clear the column value in memory when setting the column to be NULL.

baeea2909c Added From(), OrderBy() and Where() functions that correspons to the Set/GetWhereClause(), Set/GetOrderByClause() and Set/GetFromClause() functions. 
Changed signature of wxDbTable constructor to have the default value of tblPath be "" instead of NULL which prevents crashes in the logging code if the constructor initialization fails for some reason.

Removed the #if EXPERIMENTAL_WXDB_FUNCTIONS blocks from around functions that will now be available in 2.4
Changed functions to return const char * rather than char * on certain functions

b0a6bb75bc 1. a couple of compilation warnings fixed (strconv/listctrl) 
2. now reenable windows disabled by wxWindowDisabler slightly earlier:
   this solves the problem with "wrong" window being brought to top and
   eliminates the need for BringWindowToTop() and SetActiveWindow() in
   our code
3. style wxFRAME_FLOAT_ON_PARENT is now obsolete and unused, all frames
   have WS_EX_APPWINDOW style and appear on the taskbar

129caaddf1 wxHelpProvider now cleans itself up. wxTipWindow doesn't 
grab the mouse, but instead deletes itself when it's deactivated
or loses the focus.

d82323930c Added ForceRefresh() to request immediate repainting of a grid. 
Calling Refresh() doesn't do this because of our minimal OnPaint
handler (to reduce screen flicker).

Setting of position coords for wxGridEvents now takes account of
row and col label sizes.

8943b4030c Really cheesy attempt to make wxDC::DrawText() utilize gtk+ 1.3.1's 
multilingual text rendering engine to draw Unicode text (doubt this works
on wxMemoryDC, but at least it makes the generic listctrl show unicode text).

But I suspect that the text engine really should be abstracted at
a higher level in wxWindows...

fdc0367851 Cleaned up the API for class/structure/function names to follow the wxWindows conventions (mostly prefixing wx to all of them). Backward compatability is maintained by keeping the old names calling the new functions, or typedef-ing the old names to the new names. The old names can be totally disabled at the end of the file by changing the #if 1 block that surrounds the old names 
Added a wxDbCreateDataSource() function, though it only works under MSW using VC6, because the API is not available with iODBC.  To use this, it requires linking in odbccp32.lib and #including odbcinst.h in db.h.  This function is disabled with #if 0 for now.

b6fa52db66 Some make corrections for HP and related, 
Changed refresh order so that window-less widgets
    don't get overdrawn anymore,
  Prevent GTK from filtering our supposedly unneeded
    expose events,
  Block all expose calls if a resize is requested and
    do a full redraw then, thus removing flicker and
    behaving like wxMSW,
  Moved some doubled expose and draw code from GtkPizza
    to the respective callbacks in window.cpp,
  Set idle priority to a higher value (which should
    indicate a lower priority if I interpret glib.h
    correctly) but the desired side-effect didn't
    really show up.

c661ecca60 Various makefile and installation things. 
main() is now always in the program. Also added a
    macro that doesn't set main at all so that users
    can have their own.
  The isosurf sample doesn't work anymore.

5e1febface 1. wxWindowDisabler modified to bring parent window back to top under MSW 
2. modal dialogs without parent now use the app top window as parent or use
   wxWindowDisabler if none
3. modal dialogs bring parent windows to top when activated
4. wxBase dsp will now compile it with MT CRT

2c8e47380e 1. wxShell fixes: now really uses shell (it wasn't different from wxExecute!) 
and also added a version which captures the programs output
2. fix for compilers which have void ftime() (my mingw does) in timercmn.cpp
3. updated console sample to test wxShell/wxExecute
4. treetest now can toggle images or change their size
5. wxTreeCtrl doesn't crash if it has no image list

5. wxInputStream::Eof() added and non-blocking Eof() implementation in

a95e38c034 1. wxGrid row can't be resized to less than minimal height 
2. memory leaks fixed in wxHashTableLong
3. and in wxGrid
4. changed newgrid sample to use char buffers
5. fixed double clicking owner-drawn buttons
6. compilation fix in enhmeta.cpp for !wxUSE_DND
7. bug introduced earlier today in wxGridCellAttr::GetEditor() fixed
8. bool renderer/editor now look as good as I may ever make them look
   good under MSW
