5e1a248084 allow one zero length dash 
If the constructed stroke that represents a dash has a
single dash of length zero, and the end cap is square or
round, draw the cap.

The old code initialized the initial dash length to zero,
making it ambiguous whether the first length is zero or
not.

0e3129d734 Fix pointer aliasing bug in SkImageFilter::computeFastBounds. 
Since src and dst are explicitly allowed to alias (according to a comment in
SkPaint.h), it is problematic to have the first input filter mutate dst, since
we still need access to the previous value to provide to the other input
filters.

To resolve this, SkImageFilter::computeFastBounds makes a copy of src on the
stack, and passes that to its inputs instead.

Also add a unit test that would have detected the issue.

18300a3aa7 detach -> release 
The C++ standard library uses the name "release" for the operation we call "detach".

Rewriting each "detach(" to "release(" brings us a step closer to using standard library types directly (e.g. std::unique_ptr instead of SkAutoTDelete).

This was a fairly blind transformation.  There may have been unintentional conversions in here, but it's probably for the best to have everything uniformly say "release".

9c3f14327a Add support for vertex and geometry shader textures 
Adds a visibility bitfield to GrTextureAccess that controls in which
shaders the texture should be accessible. Also adds caps and
validation to ensure we don't exceed texture limits.

41b952c296 Add deferred texture upload API. 
Performs thread-safe decoding of SkImage in order to later create a texture-backed SkImage.

The client allocates storage for the data.

d93c120852 Added (color=8888|f16|srgb) option to gpu configurations, along with gpuf16 and gpusrgb predefined configs. Runs the gpu backend in gamma-correct mode (with either FP16 linear or sRGB 8888 frambuffers).

8103a34300 SkPDF: Add sk_sp setters; .release() becomes std::move() 
Note to reviewers:  Start with changes to SkPDFTypes.h

Many places that had a bare pointer owning a reference are refactored to
use a sk_sp.

There remain several places where a non-owning pointer `T*` should be
replaced with `const sk_sp<T>&` to eliminate the common pattern
`sk_sp<T>(SkRef(x))`.

c901c11549 Add element_type, swap, operators, fix reset on sk_sp. 
The 'element_type' typedef is to play nice with std::pointer_traits.

The full complement of operators and swap to match unique_ptr so that
sk_sp can be properly compared to nullptr and used with standard
containers.

Update to 'reset' so that calling 'unref' is the last operation.

This also adds tests for these changes, and sets the fPtr to nullptr
in debug for easier bug finding.

71aca54991 add virtual ~Effect() 
Today we make an sk_sp<Effect> from an sk_sp<EffectImpl>.
But when the sk_sp<Effect> dies, it calls ~Effect(), not ~EffectImpl().
Making ~Effect() virtual fixes this.

This should make our Google3 tests sized-delete clean, unblocking those folks.

941da9d661 Fix behavior of sk_sp::reset(T*) and add unittest. 
Previously, sk_sp::reset(T* t) did not release its own reference
if its internal pointer was the same as 't'. This leaks a reference.
Now always release the current reference when non-nullptr.

7f7ec206de Fix bug in SkGifCodec / Switch SkImageDec tests to use Codec 
SkImageDecoder is still used throughout tests, tools, gms etc.
Deleting it from tests is an easy first step.

Bonus is that we add tests of SkCodec.

47a1e96b95 Deduplicate axis value resolving code. 
The code was originally written for Android, but is now implemented
more generally by the FreeType scanner to be shared between all
FreeType backed typefaces. This removes the now duplicate code in the
Android font manager and uses the shared code instead.

f6bfccd562 Cleanups related to SkFixed. 
This CL relands https://codereview.chromium.org/1683743005/ with two fixes:
  - Removing the test for vertical text. Vertical text doesn't work on Windows and breakText isn't supported for non-trivial text.
  - Omit PaintBreakTextTest in Google3 because we don't have the correct font setup yet.

Remove SK_FixedNaN. It does not seem to be supported or used anywhere in Skia, Chromium, Android, or Google3, (except accidentally by TwoPtRadial::kDontDrawT). I think supporting it would erase any benefit of SkFixed over float.

Remove SkBitmapFilter::lookup. It does not appear to be used anywhere in Skia, Chromium, Android, or Google3.

Fix a bug in SkPaint::breakText that limited it to ~5kB of text. Now it can handle more than 1GB.

d78c088b61 fix path ops fuzz bug 
If one path is empty and the other has extreme values, the
intermediate coincident paths cannot be resolved, but triggers
an assert that a data structure unexpectedly has zero-length.

Tunnel this failure back up to the top and return that the
entire path op fails.

A future optimization could detect the empty path and avoid
this, allowing the op to succeed -- not sure that it's worth
the additional logic though.

03762fea75 fix race: this kCacheSize is probably not meant to be static 
TSAN sees us racing to intialize the static const kCacheSize.

This static const value depends on the runtime value image->getSize(), so there
is a race to set it.  I think this is unintentionally copy-paste from the other
tests that use a constant kCacheSize.  It's weird to intialize a constant based
on the first call to test_internal_purge(), though luckily we're always calling
it with same sized images today.

3b087f4010 Update SkSpecialImage API 
This adds some temporary compatibility features:
   internal_getBM & internal_fromBM - to convert back & forth from Bitmaps in the ImageFilters
   internal_getProxy - to allow the special images to interface with the current ImagerFilter system

It also adds a unique ID, opaque flag and size method.
   The unique ID and size method are needed for the image filter's caching system.
   The opaque flag is need for swapping back & forth from Bitmaps

ef0fed3bf0 Remove position from FrontBufferedStream 
When FrontBufferedStream was written, it implemented getPosition()
and returned true for hasPosition(). The CL that introduced it
(crrev.com/23717055) does not have any indication why, but I'm guessing
it was because it was easy to implement. None of our decoders rely on
this (only some tests do).

Now that we have a decoder (SkRawCodec) that expects to be able to seek
a stream if it has a position (which makes sense - SkStream.h
associates that with SkStreamSeekable, and there is no other way to
check to see if a stream is seekable), it is failing because
FrontBufferedStream reports it has a position and the decoder tries to
seek.

Remove FrontBufferedStream::hasPosition() (reverting to the default,
false) and ::getPosition() (so it will return 0).

Fix tests - do not call FrontBufferedStream::getPosition()

Update CodexTest to test using an FrontBufferedStream, like Android
does.

Remove the old version that used SkImageDecoder.

Remove all versions of lazy_decode_bitmap/LazyDecodeBitmap. The default
now behaves lazily.

Update all clients to use the default.

Move SkImageDecoderGenerator into KtxTest.cpp, and use it directly.

bed1ed6eac Test SkAndroidCodec for more types 
Now that SkAndroidCodec supports all types, stop selectively running
its tests for the types supported by BRD.

For the tests that actually require BRD support (i.e. partial
scanlines), change the method name from supports_scaled_codec to
supports_partial_scanlines to be more accurate today.

Use the name SkAndroidCodec instead of SkScaledCodec.

b8d6e08859 skia: Add support for CHROMIUM_image backed textures. 
I created a new abstract base class TextureStorageAllocator that consumers of
Skia can subclass and pass back to Skia. When a surface is created with a
pointer to a TextureStorageAllocator, any textures it creates, or that are
derived from the original surface, will allocate and deallocate storage using
the methods on TextureStorageAllocator.
