5dd567c2a5 Add getRectCount to SkRegtion 
It is useful to know how many rects comprise a region,
since in some situations we can optimize code based on
the complexity of the region. For instance, if we use
SkRegion for tracking invalidation we might opt to use
the region bounds as invalidation instead of iterating
over each rect.

f2e7dbb09f Split TLS implementation into its own translation unit. 
SkTLS has it's own header separate from SkThread, and having SkThread own
the platform implementation of SkTLS is problematic with Chromium. The
simplest way to clean this up is to put the implementation in its own set
of files, where it is also more easily found.

883fe7f8b1 Move implementation of SkFilterShader into its source file. 
Since SkFilterShader has its own header file, makes more sense to have a
separate source file to implement it rather than placing it in a "random"
SkColorFilter.cpp file.

Modify line intersections to first
- match exact ends
- compute intersections
- match near ends
where the exact ends are preferred, then near matches, then
computed matches. This pulls matches towards existing end points
when possible, and keeps intersection distances consistent with
different line/line line/quad and line/cubic computations.

Misc: use SK_PMCOLOR_BYTE_ORDER where appropriate

Before SK_PMCOLOR_BYTE_ORDER was introduced, I had written my own
macro for the same purpose. I had at the time spotted these two
places where it seemed to be useful.

The change in SkCreateCGImageRef.cpp may be a bugfix or a bug for the
second occurrence, I'm not sure...

d64d8a905a Working plumb of image scaling: 
1) always generate mipmaps if we detect that we are downsampling.
2) pre-scale the image if we detect that we are upsampling
   (currently valid for scale+translate only)
3) A few miscellaneous bug fixes related to image scaling.

Still need SSE/Neon versions of these image scalers.

7b320703d4 Implement offset for GPU filter path. Although we can't yet use this in Blink for FEOffset, due to SVG semantics, we can use it to support crop rect (upcoming patch). 
This patch adds the parameter to the filterImageGPU() signature, plumbs through the code on the GPU side, and implements support for it in SkXfermodeImageFilter for both raster and GPU.

Of the remaining filters with GPU implementations, Blur, Morphology, Bicubic and Displacement work fine; they're commutative wrt offset and can simply pass it up the chain. Blend is not, but will be removed shortly anyway (has been replaced with SkXfermodeImageFilter in Blink).

b446fc7f05 Remove SkRasterClip::setPath(const SkPath&, const SkRasterClip&, bool). 
The method is only used in SkCanvas::clipPathHelper() and only called when isRect() is true (which effectively disables the !isBW branch).

Thus, we can promote the isBW branch to the caller and drop the rest of the method.

bc69ce982f Remove bitmap reuse from SkImageDecoder. 
Now that Android is using an SkBitmap::Allocator to reuse bitmap
memory, remove the unnecessary code to handle bitmap reuse inside
the decoders themselves.

Leaves in the code for bitmap reuse in decodeSubset, which still
may reuse bitmaps, and cropBitmap, which is called by decodeSubset.

9839320ae1 Removing highp variables from perlin noise shader 
Variables using highp on the Adreno320 (A.K.A. Nexus 4) seem to be causing issues. I modified the shader so that all variables stay in a lower range, no longer requiring the "highp" qualifier.
This may improve performance on other devices, like the xoom, where the "highp" qualifier was required.

In Blink, these layout tests may require rebaselining :

f1754ec691 Replace SkPicture(SkStream) constructors with a factory. 
SkPicture:
Remove the constructors which take an SkStream as an argument. Rather
than having to check a variable for success, the factory will return
NULL on failure.
Add a protected function for determining if an SkStream is an SKP
to share code with SkTimedPicture.
In the factory, check for a NULL SkStream.
Use a default decoder (from BUG:
https://code.google.com/p/skia/issues/detail?id=1325)

SkDebuggerGUI:
Call SkPicture::CreateFromStream when necessary.
Write a factory for creating SkTimedPictures and use it.

Use the factory throughout tools.

Add include/lazy to utils and effects gyp include_dirs so SkPicture.h
can reference SkImageDecoder.h which references SkBitmapFactory.h (in
include/lazy).

Changes code Chromium uses, so this will require a temporary Skia
and then a change to Chromium to use the new Skia code.

TODO: Create a decoder that does nothing to be used by pinspect,
lua pictures, etc, and allow it to not assert in SkOrderedReadBuffer.

4fe06995fc Fix for crbug/253460 (generatePath crashing on Windows). 
Sometimes GetGlyphOutlineW returns a number larger than BUFFERSIZE
even if BUFFERSIZE > 0. It was previously expected that GetGlyphOutlineW
would always return GDI_ERROR in this case.

05a729ff90 Fix limit on size of glyph paths. 
Some web fonts have been observed to contain glyphs which require a buffer
greater than 20KB. In these rare cases we should allocate space on the heap.
Most glyphs require less than 8KB, and Windows has a 1MB stack, so in the
common case just use the stack.

This change also removes the gFTMutex which was both poorly named and used.
The constructor does not appear to have any need for it, and with this change
the path generation code does not need it. The mask generating code does need
memory barriers for correctness, but these bariers are no-ops on x86. We will
need another change to clean up this sort of static initialization code.

344cf45a40 *** Perlin noise GM needs to be rebaselined *** 
Enabling Perlin Noise on Android

I enabled the Perlin Noise shader on Android after doing some minor modifications to the shader, specifically for Android (and #ifdefed for Android, to make sure none of this affects other platforms).

For Tegra devices (Nexus 7, Xoom), a precision issue related to the color values read from textures caused the noise to read the wrong indices and produce bad noise. I fixed this by adding a founding of the values read by simply doing the equivalent of "colorValue = floor(colorValue * 255.0) / 255.0" to make sure we retrieve the colors that were written in the texture originally.

For non-Tegra devices (Nexus 10), dealing with values in the order of 4096.0 was problematic without using the "highp" precision setting. To solve this, a few variables were given the high precision setting.

Since both fixes don't seem to do considerable harm to the platforms that are not being targetted, I left both fixes on all android devices for now.

I also reduced the Perlin noise gm so that it takes less time to test it on the Xoom (Original time was about 20 seconds, this shold take less than 10, hopefully)

d892bd8ba6 convert pathops to use SkSTArray where possible. 
Replace SkTDArray with SkTArray and use SkSTArray when
the probable array size is known.

In a couple of places (spans, chases) the arrays are
constructed using insert() so SkTArrays can't be used for
now.

Also, add an optimization to cubic subdivide if either end
is zero or one.

daaea2d51f Fixes for unpremul decode. 
SkImageDecoder_CG.cpp:
If a non opaque bitmap was decoded, and the caller wants
unpremultiplied, unpremultiply the colors.

Always use the RGB colorspace, since the other colorspaces
do not match the desired bitmap format.

ImageDecodingTest:
Allow for a difference of 1 in each color component when comparing
the result of premultiplying the unpremultiplied decode with the
premultiplied decode, since I found an image (in WEBP format) where
the unpremultiplied colors did not compare perfectly in my comparison.

SkDebugCanvas & friends are useful beyond the Qt debugger app - Chromium's picture inspector (in development) is at the point where it could take advantage of it.

This patch moves SkDrawCommand, SkDebugCanvas & SkObjectParser from trunk/debugger to trunk/src/utils (since several tools already use these, this seems appropriate), and makes SkDrawCommand & SkDebugCanvas' symbols visible externally (SK_API).

b1b3d5122e Disable the unpremultiply/remultiply in SkArithmeticMode, both raster and GPU, since the SVG spec actually defines arithmetic compositing to operate on premul colours directly. 
The unpremul/remul code has been placed behind a gUseUnpremul global, which is default false. The non-unpremul path uses a min() to keep the colours to valid premult values.

Note:  This change will require new baselines for the arithmode and xfermodeimagefilter GMs.

6fbe54c663 Compact the clipstack for kReplace_Op'd geometry 
When adding a clip rect or clip path to the stack with the
kReplace_Op operation, remove all previous elements within the
same save frame (elements with fSaveCount equal to the current
fSaveCount of the stack). This prevents unbounded growth of the
clipstack for long-lived instances that gets reused.

d537af50fc Fixed gpu perlin noise on Windows 
I just cleaned up and re-ordered some instructions to reduce the number of registers used under the register limit. Instead of looping over channels, the function now only loops over octaves and computes all 4 channels separately within each octave loop. I made a noise function to make it simpler to make the changes and I fixed the code's alignment so that it's more readable.

4fa748d580 Fix issues related to resolving fonts based on name. 
1) non-system font files are not added to the cache.
2) We cache the default fonts for quick lookup.
