9db43ac4ee Add Sk4f::ToBytes(uint8_t[16], Sk4f, Sk4f, Sk4f, Sk4f)
This is a big speedup for float -> byte.  E.g. gradient_linear_clamp_3color:
 x86-64 147µs -> 103µs  (Broadwell MBP)
 arm64 2.03ms -> 648µs  (Galaxy S6)
 armv7 1.12ms -> 489µs  (Galaxy S6, same device!)

4a24398391 Fix SkMergeImageFilter crop rect computation.
The crop rect should be applied to the union of the input bounds, not
to the src input's bounds. These are often the same, since the saveLayer
offscreen size is computed as the union of all the required bounds, but
is not correct if the input primitive is not used (e.g., if all inputs
are connected to SkImageSources). But this will change as we
move to more accurate intermediate bounds computations (getting rid of the join() hacks as described in skbug.com/3194).

Since we can't know this without actually processing the inputs,
split SkMergeImageFilter processing into:

- filter all inputs
- applyCropRect to the union'ed bounds
- allocate the destination
- do the merge

8dcdedc4a0 Make GrGLSLProgramBuilder base class for GrGLProgramBuilder.
This CL still keeps the weird diamond shape we have for all our ProgramBuilders.
However, the GrGLSL base class will allow us to pull multiple other parts
of our program setup away from GL which will eventually allow us to break up
the diamond.

As part of this all ShaderBuilder subclass have been made gl independent,
however I will move them to GLSL files/class names in a follow on CL.

07d56b1392 Make SkBlurImageFilter capable of cropping during blur (GPU path).
This is the GPU equivalent of https://codereview.chromium.org/1415653003/.

It requires passing down the bounds of the crop rect (srcBounds), and
turning the blur 3-patch optimization in convolve_gaussian() into a 5-patch:
clear above and below srcBounds, blur with bounds checks inside left and
right rects, blur without bounds checks in middle rect.

Note: this change causes minor pixels diffs in the
imagefilterscropexpand GM: for odd crop positions relative to the
dstBounds, we are now correctly resampling at an even pixel boundary.

Causing valgrind error. Looks like the issue is in conolve_gaussiand_2d where bounds is not getting set if there is no srcBounds, but later on that bounds is being read in the creation of a TextureDomain.

6f797092d2 prune unused SkNx features
- remove float -> int conversion, keeping float -> byte
  - remove support for doubles

I was thinking of specializing Sk8f for AVX.  This will help keep the complexity down.

This may cause minor diffs in radial gradients: toBytes() rounds where castTrunc() truncated.  But I don't see any diffs in Gold.

48343eea6f Simplify SkGpuBlurUtils.
We compute a lot of { srcRect, dstRect } pairs in this
code, but they're always the same width and height, and
dstRect often has a zero origin. So pass only one or
the other and an offset, where required. Among other
things, this simplifies the code in convolve_gaussian(),
since we only have to 3-patch the dstRect.

the source image (or crop rect) is smaller, it is padded
out to dest size with transparent black via the 6-param
version of applyCropRect().

box_blur() to accept a src crop rect.

1d3ff43495 Image filters: Replace all use of tryAllocPixels() with createDevice().
In order to have a central pinch point for bitmap allocation, change all
filters to use Proxy::createDevice() instead of allocating memory
directly with SkBitmap::tryAllocPixels().

This will aid in moving filter backing stores and caches to
discardable memory.

This change updates feSpotLight to match the spec via two changes:

1) specularExponent is ignored if the spotlight has no coneAngle (GPU
   bug only). This change updates the GPU path so that it matches the
   CPU path and the spec in this regard.

2) specularExponent is clamped to the 1-128 range. The spec does not
   specify a clamp for the specularExponent attribute of feSpotLight.
   Note that the spec *does* specify this clamp for the
   specularExponent attribute of feSpecularLighting. It looks like we
   incorrectly applied this to both specularExponent attributes.

   This change (along with a parallel change in Blink) allows us to pass
   the SVG filter effects conformance test here:
   http://www.w3.org/Graphics/SVG/Test/20110816/harness/htmlObject/filters-light-01-f.html

   Additionally, this brings our behavior in line with Safari and Edge’s
   behavior on this filter.

Two new cases were added to gm/lighting.cpp to catch these issues:

- The first new spotlight case exercises the path where our specular

af96fce879 The SkArithmeticMode_gpu GL filters support clamping to valid
premultiplied colors, however the flag for whether or not to do this,
which is present in their parent filters, is dropped when creating the
GL implementations. This change adds logic to forward the value from
the parent filter to the GL implementation.

This makes GPU behavior match software and fixes a WebKit
LayoutTest. See referenced bug.

37d8688927 Optional gradient dithering
Update raster gradient impls to observe the paint dithering flag.

For now this new behavior is disabled pending internal/external
client updates to mitigate diffs.

77a53de20d Base SkAutoTUnref on skstd::unique_ptr.
To further consolidate the various unique owning classes, this bases
SkAutoTUnref on skstd::unique_ptr. Users are updated because of two
breaking changes, swap now takes a reference and reset no longer

00d6e515e5 Eliminate some clutter in SkFlattenable
The Registrar class is unnecessary, as SkFlattenable factory
registration is now handled via initialization routines that can just
call the Register function directly.

Also, no need to lazily initialize gCount to 0, as initializing an int
to a constant value does not require dynamic initialization.  (C++
actually guarantees zero initialization of global ints anyway, but
existing practice in Skia appears to favor the explicit "= 0").

Relatedly, this requires removing the unused/unimplemented
SkLayerDrawLooper::MyRegistrar class.  And removing that allows Clang
to realize that SkLayerDrawLooper::fTopRec is unneeded too, so remove
that too to squelch the compiler warning/error.

This doesn't change any public API.

106b12427e Remove SkNEW and SkDELETE macros
This CL removes the uses of SkNEW that have resprouted since commit
385fe4d, and removes the macros entirely now that Android and Chromium
have been cleaned up to no longer depend on them.

A bunch of files implicitly depend on #include <new> from SkPostConfig.h
still though, so keep that for now.  To be fixed in a followup CL.

cd56f812e0 SkImageSource
Blink is migrating away from SkBitmaps, so we need an SkImage-based
SkImageFilter source.  This is pretty much a 1-1 equivalent of
SkBitmapSource.

To avoid duplication, relocate the SkImage deserialization logic
from SkPictureData to SkReadBuffer.

dde03ff89f Clean up remaining users of SkPMFloat
This switches over SkXfermodes_opts.h and SkColorMatrixFilter to use Sk4f,
and converts the SkPMFloat benches to Sk4f benches.

No pixels should change here, and no code beyond the Sk4f_ benches should change speed.
The benches are faster than the old versions.

38f1f6f9e5 Remove overly complicated GR_CREATE_STATIC_PROCESSOR macro
This macro was responsible for producing code like:

    static SkAlignedStorage<sizeof(Foo)> g_gFoo_Storage;
    static Foo* gFoo = new(g_gFoo_Storage.get()) Foo;
    static SkAutoTDestroy<Foo> gFoo_ad(gFoo);

which would allocate static storage for an object of type Foo
(g_gFoo_Storage), lazily instantiate the object in that memory (via
gFoo's initializer), and then ensure that at global destruction time
the object is destroyed (via gFoo_Ad's destructor).

However, the exact same effect is achieved by just writing:

    static Foo gFoo;

7b7ecfc046 Fix clipped lighting image filters.
The CPU path for lighting image filters was not adjusting the filter
matrix to accommodate srcOffset, resulting in incorrectly-positioned
lights.  (The GPU path was doing this correctly.)

This change adds a new test case to the imagefiltersclipped GM,
so it will need new baselines.

b1daa86732 When getGLInstance is called on a frag proc, the resulting GrGLFragmentProcessor will be the root of a tree of GrGLFragmentProcessors that mirrors the GrFragmentProcessor's tree. This allows setData() to be called recursively (removing the responsibility from compose shader) and allows gl instances direct access to their children gl instances so they can emit their code.

2766c00fc0 remove SkInstCnt
It's been outclassed by Valgrind and leak sanitizer,
and it seems to be causing problems for external folks building Skia.

I'm not sure why our own builds seem unaffected.

e9a3e3c17a Convert SkPMFloat to [0,1] range and prune its API.
Now that Sk4px exists, there's a lot less sense in eeking out every
cycle of speed from SkPMFloat: if we need to go _really_ fast, we
should use Sk4px.  SkPMFloat's going to be used for things that are
already slow: large-range intermediates, divides, sqrts, etc.

A [0,1] range is easier to work with, and can even be faster if we
eliminate enough *255 and *1/255 steps.  This is particularly true
on ARM, where NEON can do the *255 and /255 steps for us while
converting float<->int.

We have lots of experimental SkPMFloat <-> SkPMColor APIs that
I'm now removing.  Of the existing APIs, roundClamp() is the sanest,
so I've kept only that, now called round().  The 4-at-a-time APIs
never panned out, so they're gone.

There will be small diffs on:

efbffedd68 Clean up usage of SkSurfaceProps
This CL continues cleaning up Skia's usage of SkSurfaceProps. It:

  Removes the duplicate SkSurfaceProps object from SkImageFilter::Proxy.

  Removes a dispreferred ctor from SkCanvas

  Removes the initForRootLayer entry point from SkDevice (since the root device and the canvas should always have the same pixel geometry now).

c3176aa5e5 Fix dst bound reported by SkTileImageFilter
In the example from the bug we had the filter DAG:

color filter (table)
    0: xfermode filter (arith)
        0: tile filter [0,80,34,114] -> [0,80,800,480]
             0: color filter (table)
                 0: bitmap src 34x34 -> [0,80,34,114]
        1: color filter (table)
             0: picture filter [0, 80, 800, 480]

computeFastBounds was coming out of the DAG with a bound of [0,80,34,114] which didn't represent the pixels that would be drawn.

This CL updates SkTileImageFilter to correctly set the bound for the pixels it will hit.
